Stayed for a girls’ night. Had drinks at Goodwin across the street and then dinner at the steak restaurant. Staff were all friendly and our room was cozy, food and drinks were great! Love that it’s dog-friendly, too, so my pup came, too.

Well-appointed spacious room. Unfortunately, there were cobwebs on the windowsill and there is only one elevator for the entire building for guests and staff. Which resulted in long waits to vacate the building.

Beloit has worst crime figures in State of Wisconsin--if anyone does not know this--now you do. Hope I'm not nitpicking but the lone elevator in the lobby is glacier-like slow plus the only ice machine is on the 3rd floor in a 4 floor property that charges in excess of $200 bucks a nite-think you guys can do better--otherwise location of hotel and absolutely superior quality of my room along with top-notch hotel staff will ensure my return-cheers!!

A couple of frustrations in that there was no shampoo in the room and the elevator was down for maintenance from 9 am to 1 pm. But nice location. Still no breakfast except coffee yogurt and muffins put on a counter. Wish a restaurant option. We do like the place!

Everything was wonderful, as were my previous stays here, except for one thing: there was an “old” smell noticeable in the elevator and hallway, and so I deducted a point.

The best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The suite was huge, beds were extremely comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful, and overall just wow.. this is the only place I’ll be staying when I am in the Beloit area. 100 stars!!

Ohhh hotel Iron works!!! What a GEM!!! We found Iron Works solely by accident, but we were so glad we did! Initially wanting to avoid Chicago, we looked at surrounding areas within an hour or two drive outside Chicago traffic in Wisconsin, as we were heading out to SD then Wyoming. Wow, what a great surprise! Iron Works is unique, clean, and cozy hotel all in one. The town of Beloit is quaint and charming. Many great restaurants is right next to or across streets from Iron Works. We went to the roof top bar across street in Hotel Gladwin and went to Truk’s for some great tacos and live music. Everyone was super friendly! We got a HUGE room with balcony overseeing the river. It was Fantastic! Highly highly highly recommend!

Overall not the experience we were lookin for. We would stay again, but get the room we actually want next time.

Staff were incredibly accomodating. We had some challenges with reserving the same room for both nights but they quickly cleaned a room so we could get in and prepare for my nieces wedding!!! LOVE the fireplace!! We will definately be back!!

Perfect location for downtown walking - lots of restaurants and fun bars within steps. Near Riverwalk and got a 3 mile walk in one morning. Room was comfy and clean. All around great stay!

We really enjoyed staying at the Ironworks Hotel while in Beloit to drop off our oldest child at college. Great restaurants and downtown shopping within walking distance, and a nice view of the river. The breakfast is limited but the coffee is delicious!

This is normally a nice hotel but I had an odd experience. My river view room was large if a bit bland. Fireplace in center did not work. I was woken the next morning by workers pulling up carpet for renovating my section of the floor. Odd that I was put here. Not a relaxing morning before a drive to O'Hare and overnight flight to Milan. When I emerged from my room the wind was blocked by safety tape. Had they not anticipated that guests would be staying. Mediocre at best.

Stannade 1 natt

A stay at Ironworks is always a treat. We had a balcony room and loved it. Staff was amazing as always. My only disappointment was the lack of breakfast. There always used to be scones, muffins and yogurt in the morning and that was no longer offered on this trip. We missed that light breakfast with our coffee. Otherwise another perfect stay.
