Room was somewhat clean but stained sheets and lumpy pillows. Elevator was dirty and smelled bad.

WiFi was not working for three days during my one week of stay

The room was decent. It appeared clean. There was a lack of plugs and the TV remote didnt completely work. Our keys stopped working halfway through our stay. The carpets outside the room seemed dirty. There was an unpleasant smelling airfreshener in the lobby, but it didnt always cover the random smells in the hotel. The hotel was also a little hard to find as their was no signage from the road.

Might be ok for an overnight stay, but anything longer I do not recommend. Would not stay at a La Quinta again, and def not this location. If you need laundry outside of these hours, you’re out of luck; front desk has no access or spare supply. No room housekeeping, even when requested, it was missed. Was literally shouted at by an employee (housekeeper) for taking a shampoo off his cart. Bought some of my own supplies as I didn’t want to deal with the staff.

Laquinta appeared ok from street. Cleanliness ok but needed updating. Room key needed reprogramming three times for some reason. Several transients showed up and sat in lobby. Smell of marijuana in hallways and vehicles pulling up to front. Actually saw deal in parking lot. Would not stay again.

Let's start with the good The front desk lady was very pleasant and tired to make our visit comfortable. The parking lot is well lit and there was lots of parking. Nice Samsung TV's but you have one remote for 2 tvs. Lots to do in this area Now the bad....i reserved a room with 2 beds for me and my son and we got stuck in a king room. My 19 year old son was not at all pleased. We were told the other rooms sold out. The front desk offered blankets and pillows for the pullout. The pullout had dirty sheets on it and was repulsive. The room smelled so awful, like rotton onions and bad thai food. The phone in the room didn't work, rooms need tons of updating. Dirty walls, dirty trim, trash left in the bedside nightstand. Light bulbs were missing in room and living area. Trim is unfinished and the bedroom light fixture was not securely fastened to the wall. This was by far the worse hotel I've stayed at.

This property needs proper up keep. Dirty elevator and walls all throughout the hotel.

I do believe its a good value for the money. It could use a sign outside on Ford Rd. I couldn't find it initially, it turns out its behind a White Castle hamburger place. It is really set back from Ford Rd and behind a small forest of trees. Anyways, first time guests, use Google Maps to locate it. It is rather old, reasonably maintained, my room with one king bed was clean. Some items did not work such as the alarm clock and the TV, but the TV was an easy fix. The Beauty Rest mattress was exceptionally good, super comfortable, the best part of the stay. Toilet seat was broken, but useable. They do charge an extra $50 security fee upon arrival, but they do credit it back after leaving. The breakfast bar was a bit disappointing, just coffee, juices, bagels and make it yourself waffles. Will I stay there again? Yes. I feel I got a good room, overlooking some flaws due to age and I paid a fair price.

This place had bed bugs my sister was bitten every where and there are refusing to give us are money back

They have cockroches. I was on the 3rd floor and one came out when i went to use the coffee machine.

The bathroom was disgusting. The shower still had strands of hair. The toilet definitely was not cleaned before.

Found a bed bug and couldn’t get any refund for half my pay at least

The reservation was booked for two nights however we no longer needed the first night. I called the day before (it was too late to modify the reservation through Hotels.com) to notify the property that we would not be arriving on Friday as planned. I did not expect reimbursement but more wanted to make it clear that we intended to stay on Saturday night and did not want to have our reservation considered canceled by not checking in on Friday. After a lengthy and difficult interaction with the front desk staff when calling, I was assured this would not be an issue. When we arrived on Sat to check in our room was given away because we "forfeited" our reservation by not checking in. After much discussion, we were given a room but someone else was told they no longer had a room that was guaranteed. The room smelled of animals and smoke down to the towels and bedding. The door to the bathroom had 8 holes that were patched from top to bottom. There was a very large bag of trash outside of the door next to ours that was there from check-in to checkout. The only perk to this hotel was the location, but there were several across the street. Next time, we will not stay here (especially after paying for 2 nights and using 1!)

This is a property that is extremely unkempt. It’s dirty, saw ketchup marks on the wall, caught 4 insects around different areas of the room. The curtains were dirty with stains. The hallways and the rooms were smelling of food/fish. The tub has rust marks and it wasn’t draining well. The entire property is extremely unhygienic and in disrepair . I want a refund of my stay

We checked in at the hotel, we booked two double bed, we they gave me a king bed without asking us whether it is ok. After we got our room, we found multiple cockroaches in the hallway, bathroom. room is not updated. The second morning, we reported this to the front desk, they changed a two double bed room for us. The breakfast area's flood is very dirty, even sticky. Not going to this hotel ever!!

There was mildew in the shower, the carpet was frayed, the tile was sticky, there were holes in the curtain and stains on the bedding. It was obvious they had tried to fix a water leak from the room above. I could also hear every footstep of what sounded like energetic dogs in the room upstairs for hours until one of us feel asleep. I decided to skip the breakfast to be safe.

The room definitely needs a face lift. The tub was staind. The shower curtain had holes in it. The bed was very comfortable.

The bed and pillows were great, but the room smelled musty and like it had been smoked in. The electrical outlets arced when we plugged in our phones and an outlet in the lobby had black burn marks on it. The breakfast was basic but had what we needed. The clerk appeared to be on a personal call through his ear bud the whole time he checked us in and again in the morning when we went to check out. For the price, I would stay there again but it could definitely use some work.

Check in was efficient, but could not be described as friendly in any way, shape, or form. The walls are so thin that you can hear any/everything - e.g. the television in the room across the hall sounded like it was in the room with us, vacuuming upstairs shook the room. Also, the smell of marijuana throughout the second floor hallway was extremely overwhelming. The room served its purpose for us, but I’d stay at one of the other nearby options in the future.

Room was dated. Had some garbage on the carpet floor from the previous guests. Hallway noise can be heard as theres a large gap between the bottom of the door and the floor.

Upon arrival the air conditioning and tv was not working. The front desk clerk came up and got them both working. The closet had such an odor that I couldn’t use it. Also the hanging rods were broken off. The bathtub would not drain and filled with water. The curtains were torn by and would not hang correctly. The lounge chair was broken and flipped back. I was there for 3 nights and housekeeping never came in to take out the trash or freshen the room. I have stayed at this La Quinta in the past, but was very disappointed in this stay. I will not be returning again.

If you enjoy dogs barking in the hallways, an old and smelly room with a sticky floor, this is the right place. We had to leave early since it was so bad.

we reserved 2 double rooms for 6 people to stay in & they gave them away before we got there. all they had left was 2 rooms with 1 bed for 4 people. i don’t get the point of a “reservation” if they don’t honor it. we couldn’t find a room for the other 2 people nearby so they slept on the floor with a blanket. worst la quinta experience ever

Arrived early check-in gave the representative itinerary number it took him 40 minutes to find the reservation. I kept asking was everything OK? No response. Finally received the room key signed paperwork . Went to room it was filthy carpet dirty bed dirty bathroom horrible. Return to the front desk to let the representative know the condition of the room. He took us to another room and said this room cost $20. You need an early check fee in which we had already signed the papers for the other room previous so we asked him if we can talk to the manager. He said the manager wasn’t available. We can talk to him at 11am and don’t worry about the $20 We were not familiar with the area when we chose this hotel and we did let hotel know that it was a wedding event for us and the hotel says they were welcome us with open arms, and everything will be ready for an early check-in. The representative told us that the manager will be in at 11am and not to worry about anything. We were sleeping when the lady started banging on our door like we have stolen something saying we need the $20 so we can check you in when We were already checked in the room. also, employees were arguing in the hall about the laundry. Front desk opens the door started watching us through the mirror because the latch on They invaded our privacy. This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Please stay away, not safe. Very unprofessional the representative also had a scarf on her head with inappropriate clothing.

Worst service in this hotel. No rooms were ready and we were given a room with which was already occupied by someone else It was really embarrassing. Front desk lady was high and didn’t help at all and we ended up leaving and book some other hotel

The day of check in I arrived at 2:30pm but check in was not until 3:00pm. After driving for 8 hours, I just wanted to check in and put my bags in my room and go be with a dying family member. I was told that there was a $50 cash deposit that was required and it was going to be an extra $20 if I wanted to check in early. I refused to pay anything extra because my stay was completely booked and paid for online. The guy at the desk was unable to prove to me or show me any that stated that I needed to pay a $50 deposit. I ended up extending my stay for 7 days to be able to attend the funeral. Not 1 time was the room refreshed with clean towels, soap or shampoo. The trash had not been emptied the entire time either. Even after going to the front desk two different days and asking if the room could be restocked with clean towels, I got nothing. The free contenental breakfast was also a joke.

Bad service at the desk. Only one person running the hotel at a time. If you ask for extra sheets, you’ll be denied! Person at the check-in said breakfast hours until 10:30 am, the next morning we went down to see the breakfast booth closed because it runs until 9:30 am, not 10:30 am! I asked only to give me few slices of toast bread for my kid to eat, but I was denied again! This hotel runs on the concept of minimum expenses, even if it makes guests angry!

I arrived about 1am and the clerk informed me that they had no rooms and acknowledging my paid reservation, he turned me away. He indicated he had known since his shift started, but nobody attempted to contact me to let me know they oversold, nor did he attempt to help me, in any way, secure lodgings for the night. Terrible experience.

We arrived late, tired from a long drive and needing to rest. We were assigned a room, given a key, and off we went to get some sleep. However, the room we were given, was ALREADY OCCUPIED!!! Yep, we opened the door and the counter just inside the room was filled with hair and hygiene products and there was a woman's undergarment on the bed. I told my husband to shut the door and off I went to tell the front desk. I dropped the key on the front desk counter and the "gentleman" asked me if there was a problem. I said yes, that he had given us a room that someone was already staying in. He then tells me that the guy who assigned our room to us, made a mistake. He then gave me another room key with a new room number. Before I could even walk away, he tells me to give the key back to him and he writes down ANOTHER room number! This was room number 3! By this time, I was wondering why we were even staying there. I didn't sleep well at all. I kept waking up wondering if someone might walk into our room in the middle of the night. This was not our first time at this motel, but it had been about 10 years since our last visit. Boy, oh boy, had things changed. NEVER AGAIN!!! I would rather pay 4x more and at least feel safe in my room. When we left the next morning, we weren't even asked how our stay was. THEY DIDN'T CARE one bit about us or our safety! Just imagine, if we had opened a room with someone who had a gun and was trigger happy. I don't even want to think about it!!!

I chose this hotel because of the price and proximity to Greenfield Village. Good value for the money. The room had a bit of an old look and it took a minute to get used to the extra power outlets being only on the desk. But it was clean and had a nice bathroom. Right neat I-275 and all the suburban shopping amenities you could want, or groceries, if you want to be healthy.

Just flew in and needed a clean, quiet place for the night. Perfect! Had a big fridge, microwave, breakfast, good water pressure... loved the sink outside of the bathroom while someone else was showering. Close to airport (15 min). I'd stay here again.

I took time to read the reviews beforehand, and saw three words. Safe, clean, and quiet. That’s all I was looking for, and it lived up to all three. Yes, it’s a visibly older building, but the room was nice, clean, and comfortable. Nobody screaming in the halls at 3 am. Had a microwave and refrigerator. Continental breakfast was fine and the coffee good. Walked 5 minutes to Carrabas restaurant one night and enjoyed that. Right in the heart of the IKEA area on Ford road. We spent 2 nights here. Affordable place to stay.

Basic older hotel in need of updating but what you should expect for the price. Location is convenient to restaurants and the staff is polite. Only real complaints are regarding breakfast, just not enough options

Not much good or bad about this place. I stayed four days - no bedding:towel service on any of the days, but there were plenty of towels for my stay. Breakfast option were bagels, cereal, oatmeal or waffles. No eggs or breakfast meats. Location is near plenty of restaurants and has easy on/easy off freeway access. Thanks to Pari for her professionalism checking me in and out of the room.

Nothing spectacular but definitely served its purpose. The second day the breakfast was gone except for the stuff to make waffles. We got down there about 30 minutes into breakfast and it was empty and we waited about 30 minutes and nothing was replaced

Great location. I just wish breakfast was at 6am on weekends, too for those staying there for sporting events. The room was very clean.
