Sunotel Central

Das Personal war super freundlich und auch das Zimmer für einen Städtetrip super ausreichend. In der Nähe gibt es alles was man braucht und hat in jede Richtung in circa 5 Minuten eine Metrostation. Der Pool auf dem Dach ist für eine kurze Abkühlung auch gut nutzbar. Für den ganzen Tag aber zu klein bzw. sind die Liegen auch zu unbequem. Das Frühstück ist jeden Tag identisch aber von allem was dabei. Als Fazit: für ein Städtetrip ein sehr gutes Hotel.

This hotel is it! Visiting in November and having access to the rooftop pool and hot tub was a great perk of the hotel aswell as the many other perks of the hotel such as being able to borrow a bicycle. All of the facilities were clean and all of the staff members I spoke to were friendly and helpful. I would revisit in a heartbeat, and I am actually already planning to do so next year with my girlfriend! I'm surprised the hotel's ratings are not much higher as it was faultless. From what I read online it seems that the hotel was refurbed somewhat recently so perhaps this could be related.

Ein schönes und central gelegenes Hotel. Das Zimmer war klein, aber ruhig. So konnte man das Fenster geöffnet lassen. Ein relativ großes Bad. Das Bett für 2 Personen ist zu eng. Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen und der Service war sehr freundlich. Leider war der Pool erst ab 10 Uhr geöffnet. Das war schade, denn ich gehe gern vor dem Frühstück schwimmen. Ich würde das Hotel weiterempfehlen.

It has convenient location. Close to everything. Nice pool and jacuzzi on the rooftop.

The location is super good! The staff is friendly! The terrace is also nice and the jacuzzi very good! The breakfast is ok (could be better) and my room was very small with an window to inside! Thats why an overall "good" rate.

Good location for airport bus stops/metro. 10mins walk from La Ramblas. Good breakfast options. Free bike hire was nice, as was rooftop pool.

Lovely place great location very helpful staff. Pool area isn’t too big and sun loungers not reclining which so not good for tanning options.

Fint plassert i sentrum. Bra betjening. Litt lite basseng område. Og kaldt basseng. Hotellrommet var gjennomsnittlig. Stuepikene var veldig flinke og skiftet på sengen hver dag og tok bosset

The front desk team were helpful and friendly in general. however, They only have heat on in the building, and the rooms are very small so your bedroom ends up being very VERY hot at night even if they provide you a fan and you sleep with the windows open. At least if you room faces the courtyard like mine did so there is not a lot of air movement and you get the sounds and sometimes cigarette smells from other parts of the hotel. The hotel itself is pretty clean but had ants in my room and one day cleaning team had probably by accident dumped part of the contents of the bathroom trash can onto the work desk.

This property was just okay. The window in the room I had looked out on a depressing internal shaft with little natural light. The room was small and the bathroom had a sewer smell coming from it that was ever-present and quite unpleasant. The facility was very clean and they offer a nice buffet breakfast. Staff was also friendly on check in.

Ligger utmärkt men ser finare ut på bild än verkligheten. Ganska slitet och små smutsigt överallt utom i matsalen. Slitna badrum och små rum. Vi hamnade väldigt tråkigt med en utsikt mot en vit vägg. Lyhört och man hörde varje gång grannen ovanpå spolade i sin toalett. Nja, inget vi bokar igen för dom pengarna! Rent för dyrt med tanke på skicket.

Hotel i fin beliggenhed, venligt personale. Pool området er lille og havde brug for rengøring da vi var der. Vi havde gode dage. Vi ville for at skåne miljøet som et skilt opfordrer til, genbruge håndklæderne ved at hænge dem op, men de skiftede dem hver dag. Min voksne søn oplevede at der lugtede fra kloakken på hans værelse og at hans våde tøj fra strand mv blev lagt op det bidét der er på toilettet. Vi synes det er ulækkert at ligge tøj op i et bidet, som at lægge det i toilettet. Så vi måtte på vaskeri. Personalet undskyldte over det.

Great location, fantastic staff, nice rooms, very clean

An excellent location and overall great stay at Petit Palace Eixample. The room was clean with a good daily service but there were some parts of the room that had aged (particularly in the bathroom) which gave a slightly tatty/stained appearance. But this didn’t distract from a good stay which we would repeat

We paid for the economy room, and that’s exactly what was given. The room was a bit underwhelming as it was incredibly small. We were 2 people and barely managed to squeeze by. I would say the room is ideal for maybe 2 carry on bags, we had 2 checked bags and were struggling a bit to find space to adjust ourselves. The bathroom was relatively big in comparison to the room, but quite outdated and places like the door hinge were broken/worn out. Despite all these cons, the location of the hotel just can’t be beat. Everything is within walking distance, just a block from the university plaza and felt incredibly safe. This is definitely a place you wanna stay at if you prioritize convenience to locations. The staff was very respectful and room service changed sheets and towels daily. Overall a 3 star experience.

Great hotel located around everything! Staff was so nice! Room a little smaller then we thought but loved our balcony overlooking the city! Would definitely stay here again!

Die Zimmer waren klein, aber für einen Städtetripp ausreichend. Die nächste UBahn Station war schnell erreichbar (200m). Plaça de Kataluna und Rempler auch Fussläufig schnell erreichbar. Mit der U-Bahn vom Airport zum Hotel kein Problem, einmal umsteigen. Der Pool war klein aber zum ein paar Stunden zum chillen oder für den Abend vorzubereiten ausreichend. Ohne weite Wege kam man durch die U-Bahn Station Universität überall hin.

I did not care for the thin walls, construction on day had me up early and received a call from a front desk staff member to lower my TV as guests next door were complaining about my room noise.

Personale disponibile e genetile, camera pulita, ampia e spaziosa, materasso comodo. Posizione centrale a pochi passi da Piazza Università. C'è il noleggio gratuito delle biciclette, piscina e Jacuzzi nel roof top. Unica pecca è che la stanza 112 non è del tutto insonorizzata, quando ci sono gli spettacoli presso Acquarella si sentono le performance fino a che lo spettacolo non finisce attorno alle 24. Per il resto ottimo soggiorno.

Very lovely staff. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was a big springy and a little uncomfortable, but after a long day I was easily satisfied. Breakfast was a bit expensive, so we skipped that; It’s a buffet for €16/person. Bathroom was nice with a rainfall shower and a bidet. Easily walkable but by the casino (which is notoriously know for a pickpocket area so be aware of your surroundings while walking around). Great stay!

The AC was turned to heating, so we found it too hot to sleep. We tried opening the balcony door to get some cool air in, but with the traffic noise and the smell of weed from the street, it was impossible. Also, the bed linens are terrible, as they're just an old quilt between two sheets, instead of a proper duvet with a cover. Other than that, the room is nice, but the bathroom is old. The common areas are small and resemble more of a hostel than a 4-star hotel. The elevator is also old and rickety. The whole hotel could use some refurbishment. As for the location, it was quite central, but the couple of blocks just around the hotel seemed dingy. If I were there alone without my boyfriend, I wouldn't walk there by myself. It didn't feel safe. All in all, I can't recommend this hotel, as I won't be staying there again.

Très bien situé. Tous les attraits de la ville se font à pieds depuis l’hôtel. Bons restaurants à proximité. Chambre propre et possède tout le nécessaire. Literie et matelas super confortable. Le staff était super sympathique et nous ont aidé avec toutes nos demandes et questions. Petit rooftop sans prétention, mais agréable pour prendre un peu de soleil en pm. On recommande!

Stayed here for a birthday retreat for 3 nights with my pregnant wife. Was a very difficult stay. Initial room was very nice - double bed and what I had paid for. 2nd night / the room smelled of marijuana / weed. Wife was pregnant so I asked for a change of room. Initially the hotel staff said to ‘open the room and wait a while’. I’m glad we didn’t as when I returned later that night to collect something, the whole floor smelt of weed, let alone the room! - 2nd night Got a room with two single beds (slept separately) and could hear everything downstairs as I think it was an extra room which no one stays in! Bed was absolutely horrendous, the springs made my back ache for a week. 3rd night - Was moved to another double room the day after. The hot water did not work in this room and no alternative was available. Wife and I had to go and shower in another room on a different floor and come back to sleep in this room! This is at 1AM. Absolutely ridiculous. On the last day I had probably spent about 5 hours packing and moving and speaking to people. I was promised a two night refund by Toni (the manager for both this and the other Petit Palace hotel). When hotels.com contacted them this was denied. Liars! On a side note - don’t pay for breakfast. For £15 a person there are some lovely places around. Breakfast was average at best with simple things finishing by 9-9.30am when breakfast lasts till 11am (eg beans or vegetables) with no refills because it’s ‘finished’!

Venligt og hjælpsomt personale - dejligt værelse med en fin balkon. Udemærket morgenmad med mange gode muligheder. Skønt poolområde på 8. etage! Relativt centralt og nemt at komme rundt. Vi lejede elcykler på hotellet - det var et plus og fungerede upåklageligt.

Central, convenient & practical. Front desk couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming. Extremely helpful staff everywhere. Pool area is impressive, if a little small. Room was spacious and comfortable. Wooden floors mean they get a little dusty / crumb-y easily. Not completely silent, but not disruptive to sleep. I would stay here again!

nahe zum Platz Catalunya gelegen, wo die Hop On / Hop Off Busse starten, Busstation direkt vor der Haustür, Zimmer in den Innenhof sind sehr ruhig, vorne die Zimmer zur Straße haben dafür einen kleinen Balkon, Hotel von außen unscheinbar, vom 8. Stock mit Whirlpool und kleinem Pool schöner Blick über die Stadt, sehr gutes, reichhaltiges Früstücksbuffet

Var på forlænget weekend i Barcelona. Hotel ligger dejligt centraltmed god transport muligheder lige ved døren. værelset var stolt og med gode faciliteter. Morgenmads buffeten var rigtig god. Servicen var rigtig god. Kan klart anbefales.

Bien ubicado. El aseo de la habitación muy por encima. El desayuno un día sin luz (no huevos, no café) y el otro sin huevos., se acabron a las 8 am.. La habitación algo oscura y poco ventilada... detalles por mejorar

Breakfast was surprisingly amazing. My room was inner side looking so could not enjoy the view but overall no complain at all. Staff was friendly too. Would like to stay here again.

Good location, spacious room, great breakfast, nice roof top pool. Had an issue with which meant we had to have cold showers in the evening which was disappointing but otherwise would definitely recommend .

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral. Personal sehr freundlich. Das Pool und Whirlpool im 8. Stock hat uns besonders gut gefallen und bietet eine tolle Aussicht. Die Qualität am Frühstücksbuffet war nicht ganz nach unserem Gusto.
