Clean room staff was friendly

Nice clean room

Staff was nice. Breakfast was what it was (limited options, warm foods were stale/not very warm). Signs everywhere to not vape or smoke in the building, but it smelled like there were a lot or people partaking.

I had requested early check in and I know it’s not guaranteed but I was less than an hour early to check in. Reception made a point of telling me that check in is at 3. When I told her that I requested early check in, she apparently found a room for me. I was on the 3rd floor on the Broadway side of the building. While it’s not close to the road, the traffic noise was quite loud in the room until very late when the road got less busy. The neighborhood is quiet but I definitely heard others’ doors opening and closing, showers running and toilets flushing in my room. Not sure what the smell was but I’m thinking some sort of air freshener or carpet powder but it was pretty over powering. Other than that, the room seemed clean. I only needed a place to sleep for the night so I didn’t use the pool or hot tub but breakfast was decent. An outdoor area to sit and relax would’ve been a nice touch also. I would stay here again but request a room on the back side of the hotel.
