We enjoyed our stay in this very lovely home. It has everything you might need and the hosts are extremely nice. We especially liked the porch in the morning. The setting is very relaxing. We would definitely recommend.

Took a short trip with family for christmas. The place was lovely and the host was awesome. The property is in a country setting with plenty of privacy and has plenty of family things to do including board games grilling and even a bar downstairs. Everything we needed was right there, including beautiful scenery. We will definitely do this again.

Accommodations were perfect. Beautifully decorated for Christmas in every room. Location is wonderful. Walk across the street to local bar, walk down to street for meals or hang out making s’mores in the outdoor fire pit. Host was amazing. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Outstanding property, wonderful owners and great area. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything we may need. We used the fire pit and the grill most days and my kids loved it. The lightning bugs around and the stars above provided a fantastic setting. The owners, Joy and Joe, were very kind and helpful. Do not miss the opportunity of taking a boat trip through the Homosassa river to the Gulf of Mexico with Joe: a great price and an unforgettable trip. It was the highlight of our vacation. We saw manatees, dolphins, ospreys, sea sponges and a sea turtle while Joe told us about the area, and we swam in the Gulf and in the river. There are plenty of stores and restaurants nearby and you can go to Clearwater and the Tampa area if you want to spend a day at the beach. A perfect place for a family vacation!

The house is updated, clean and well furnished. Also, it's the most well equipped home we have ever stayed in. They have thought of absolutely everything! From the comfortable beds and furniture, to small kitchen appliances, even spices and condiments! Outdoor spaces are well furnished, and the yard is well kept and beautiful - right down to the fruit trees, which we sampled. They have kayaks and paddle boards nearby at another property that is right on the water and leads to the beautiful springs. The area has a laid back, small town feel, and there are numerous activities and eateries within a mile or two. The hosts were so helpful and attentive, we felt like part of their family - their tlc was so appreciated! We will definitely keep this on our list for future vacays, and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, laid back vacation, which also offers lots of fun activities to enjoy.

This house was great! Very relaxing and close to a lot of things to do. Host was fantastic with all our needs and even made us brownies. Beds are very comfortable, kitchen stocked with all necessary essentials to cook meals and full laundry access. Look forward to staying here again in the future.

The home was comfortable and clean with lots of seating areas for games and dining. Loved sitting on the screened porch in the morning. We only used the main bedroom and the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped. Joy and Mary Lynn were very friendly and were available for any questions during our stay. We will return

It has a nice large outdoor covered entertaining/relaxing area. I thought the fresh baked cookies were very thoughtful. The check-in checkout process was very time oriented. They like to meet and greet, which required me to stay in touch with them since I was unsure of an exact arrival time. It made me feel anxious and rushed instead of relaxed. It took the fun out of exploring the house to find the nice things the hosts do to make you feel comfortable. I was asked on the day prior to checkout day what time I thought I would be leaving so they could clean with checkout instructions (the owners had already given at the meet and greet AND were on the info paper) even though checkout time was standard 11:00.

This was a perfect house due to it being everything we needed and clean, far to many of these rentals are not clean as they should be. The ownwer and owners daughter were very nice and thorough. We will definitely stay here again for our next trip

House is bigger than it looks in the pictures. Everything was very clean. Plenty of amenities- beach towels, house goods, dishes in kitchen, games to play, toys for kids. I met Mary Lynn, Joy's daughter, at check in. She was very responsive throughout our stay. Safe neighborhood. Would recommend and will likely be back.

This was an excellent property near where my family needed to be. The property offered more than just a place to sleep, was super clean, comfortable and offered many amenities. The Host Family was very kind, responsive and genuinely pleasant to coordinate our stay with. Communications were clear, concise and informative. While our time there was short we will certainly want to stay at this property again for a longer period of time. Definitely a "must stay" property. Thank you!

There are no adjectives I can think of to describe how truly wonderful Lynn, Joe and David were. (Joy was out of town). They were extremely helpful and accommodating and it was great to meet them face to face. They enhanced the pleasure of our overall experience. Had previously heard from friends about a great place to stay while in Homosassa. Booked to give husband a fishing weekend for our Anniversary. We thoroughly enjoyed this property (all 6 of us), Everything was spotless, comfortable and lacked nothing. And the communication and generosity of Mary Lynn and Joy were above and beyond. They went out of their way to accommodate us and make it a memorable stay. The property is wonderfully quiet, spacious, well appointed and supplied and in a perfect location for fishing, boating and just relaxing.. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending this place to everyone. And again, special thanks to Mary Lynn for all you did for us!
Had previously heard from friends about a great place to stay while in Homosassa. Booked to give husband a fishing weekend for our Anniversary. We thoroughly enjoyed this property (all 6 of us), Everything was spotless, comfortable and lacked nothing. And the communication and generosity of Mary Lynn and Joy were above and beyond. They went out of their way to accommodate us and make it a memorable stay. The property is wonderfully quiet, spacious, well appointed and supplied and in a perfect location for fishing, boating and just relaxing.. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending this place to everyone. And again, special thanks to Mary Lynn for all you did for us!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Close proximity to many places. Very clean home with super responsive hosts. They were super helpful during check in and even checked in during our stay to see if we needed anything. Highly recommend!

We were visiting relatives in the area for a birthday. They were such great hosts that they even dropped off some decorations for us to use. They made sure our stay was perfect. We will definitely stay here again. The place had lots of room, comfortable beds and everything you need.

The home was comfortable and clean with lots of seating areas for games and dining. Loved sitting on the screened porch in the morning. We only used the main bedroom and the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped. Joy and Mary Lynn were very friendly and were available for any questions during our stay. We will return

Great location in Homosassa, close to boat ramp and river. Parking for boat and cars is abundant. The home is very clean and well maintained. It has a nice large outdoor covered entertaining/relaxing area. I thought the fresh baked cookies were very thoughtful. The check-in checkout process was very time oriented. They like to meet and greet, which required me to stay in touch with them since I was unsure of an exact arrival time. It made me feel anxious and rushed instead of relaxed. It took the fun out of exploring the house to find the nice things the hosts do to make you feel comfortable. I was asked on the day prior to checkout day what time I thought I would be leaving so they could clean with checkout instructions (the owners had already given at the meet and greet AND were on the info paper) even though checkout time was standard 11:00.

The place was just what we needed for a long weekend. We were met by the owner's daughter and she showed through the house. We even found fresh baked cookies that she left for us. It was a perfect location to base from as it was right in the middle of the activities we were doing.

This place was a gem! Loved that we could walk to some local restaurants and the state park was like 3 mins away by car. The owners were wonderful and the entire rental process was very smooth. Would definitely stay again.

This was an excellent property near where my family needed to be. The property offered more than just a place to sleep, was super clean, comfortable and offered many amenities. The Host Family was very kind, responsive and genuinely pleasant to coordinate our stay with. Communications were clear, concise and informative. While our time there was short we will certainly want to stay at this property again for a longer period of time. Definitely a "must stay" property. Thank you!

This home was the perfect place for 3 couples to have a Thanksgiving Getaway. Very clean, well stocked with everything you could need, even to prepare a full traditional Thanksgiving meal. Hosts were excellent! Convenient to restaurants, grocery and local attractions. We definitely plan on returning.

This house is beautiful, clean, very well stocked with everything you might need! The owners are so friendly & helpful. We brought our 3 grandchildren with us, they enjoyed the property, the huge waterguns, boardgames, smores around the fire ring, the fresh cookies delivered by MaryWe love Homosassa, everything was so close. We would definitely stay here again!

we have been holding our family reunions in Homosassa for many years and have stayed at the Stilt House for art 5 years now. We find Joe, Joy and Family very accommodating to us before, during and after our stay. Highly recommend the accommodations. Blessings
