Days Inn by Wyndham Greenville

The property isn't well kept. The pool is dirty. The rooms have bugs. The carpet is heavily soiled, and has a moist sticky feeling. This hotel needs a full renovation. There was one staff member that was polite.

Granted it is an older building but could really use some sprucing up. There was two ice machines and both were out of order so no ice for beverages. The complementary breakfast was meager with limited options, also the location is somewhat difficult to navigate and there was quite a bit of highway noise.

There was a fight in parking lot, with 1 guy having his arm cut so bad that an ambulance & fire truck showed up. The guys fighting were also throwing gas on each other! When we told the girls @ the front desk what was going on they knew exactly who it was. We walked out in the middle of all this while going to our car. The smoke detectors in our room & hallway had plastic bags on them. The elevator was broken & the pool was closed for our entire stay. The ice machines were not working. We were supposed to be in the no smoking area however people were smoking in the hallway. We also saw a “working girl” that was staying there complete a service in the parking lot & sit in the lobby between clients. We didn’t feel safe & wouldn’t recommend this property if you value your safety!!!

It was really dirty and no clean up of our room during 5 Days. We had to go get clean towels and toilet papier! We miss heated water for two Days! No air dryer and pool close!!!

Cheap central location Gvl area. The rooms have not been updated and there was trash around 2 stairwells. The pool was locked and had to wait on staff 15 minutes every time. It was great for my short stay but I won’t select again.

Steps tore up outside, phones taped up and missing buttons, not very clean, my brother’s room had a bathroom with problems they gave him a plunger to fix it on his own.

Did not review before booking. Staff was nice and helpful. Bed was fairly soft. Towels were small but soft. Room smelled like old cigarette smoke. There was a cigarette hole burn on the comforter. Pool was green. Bed frame was about 5 inches longer than the mattress. You had to be careful so you wouldn’t trip over it. Breakfast was sad.

It is necessary to bring extra quarters if you want to have a laundry. A front desk doesn’t get you quarters and you have to stop by Gas Station nearby to get change. Unfortunately, a teller doesn’t want to exchange for many have tried it.

Nothing was functioning ie ice machine, microwave, refrigerator, AC, hot water

when we arrived there was no one at the desk. the refrigerator in our room had mold inside. the ice machine didn't work. There was hardly any breakfast, most everything was empty. Juice machine didn't work. The room seemed clean, but the rest of the hotel was not clean.

It was a filthy place . They claim its a non smoking facility. Thats a whole lie. As i was waiting to get on the elevator to go up to my room i looked down and saw someone had killed a roach right in front of the elevator. That was already a No-No in my book. I messed around and went to the room and the stench coming out of the room met me while walking in the door. On top of that the whole 3rd from reaked of smoke..weed and cigarettes. The floors in the hallway need serious repairing because it was very unstable...One girl said she had to go get some air freshner for her room becaise it smelled like whoever was in it before her had dogs in there. I belived her because of the smell of the room they tried giving me. The carpet was filthy..the whole hotel.needs to be condemned. It was a disgusting place. I'll never go back and won't recommend anyone thats clean natured to go there. The only thing i liked is they didnt give me any issues when it cane to giving me my money back and im surprised due to it being in a good location how rundown it was. I thought it would be nic..the saying is true sonetime, you will get the standard of what you pay.

Worst stay ever, got smoke free room but smelled like smoke, bed had cigar burns, and room had roaches! Lobby so dirty

We were greeted by a cockroach upon entering the room. The room smelled so bad we had to open the door and leave it propped open while we were in the room, except when we were sleeping. Breakfast was a joke. We were wondering what condition the kitchen would be in if the guest rooms had cockroaches. There was what looked like 2 blood stains on the dirty carpet. Upon check in we were given a room with one queen bed, even though the one we booked online has 2 queen beds. We had to go back to the front desk even though it was around midnight and we were exhausted.

Terrible. Dirty, no ice buckets in the room. Floors didn't feel or look like they had been vacuumed in weeks. Cobwebs in room and dirt in corner. Definitely not what I expect from something associated with Wyndham.

The first room I checked into was filthy. The bathroom had mold all in the bathroom.

The hotel was very dirty, bed sheets and towels had stains. Bath tub and toilet were also very dirty. I do not recommend it at all. Everything about this place was just disgusting and terrible.

Everything about this hotel was disgusting. The room was filthy, people smoking everywhere, room was “clean” and had stains all over the bed, hairs in the towels, etc.

Only thing nice I will say is that the front desk lady was very helpful and thankfully nice enough to switch my room. My room was infested with roaches. Found one in the microwave after heating up my food. The fridge had roaches crawling all around the fridge.

Conveniently located near highways. Night staff is friendly and helpful. Comfy bed and pillows. King room is spacious and nicely appointed, especially for an economy stay. Could be cleaner. Whiskers in the sink, bugs in the light fixture, TP packed over the fire alarm, Windows are insufficient to reduce traffic noise so if you get an even numbered room you will hear traffic. Coffee is mediocre. Breakfast is lacking … only waffles or bagels… a couple of old apples. Breakfast area is dirty and not attended to during the breakfast hours. Run out of something…go find someone to restock. Morning staff and night staff are literally “night and day” of each other.

The room was in bad shape. One of the ceiling tiles in the bathroom had a huge water stain on it. Bed coverings were sparce and too small. Toilet bowl was stained. Window covering was crumpled and didn't totally close. No one made beds or provided clean towels. I would never stay here again, and i would be hard pressed to choose Days Inn again anywhere!! I'm going to ask dog club to remove this motel from lodging list.

Check in was easy. The room smell bad. The towel rack and toilet paper roll holder was broken, they fixed those items. They cleaned the room still smell bad. There was a roaches in the room. The TV did work nor did the WiFi password. The toilet didn’t flush. The staff did do a good job on the breakfast and kept it stocked.

We booked a nonsmoking room, and the room smelled awful. We ended up leaving due to the smell. We tried to stay and air out the room. However, people continued to smoke and the vents carried the smell. The hallways and elevator even smelled like smoke.

There was housekeeping staff but on my 6 night stay I didn’t received any housekeeping. Strong tobacco/marihuana smell all over even if you get a non smoking room . The room did not had toilet paper. Fridge was freezing items even if you adjust temperature , control remote was missing lid batteries kept coming off .Ladies on the reception were polite males gave attitudes it was an okay stay .

TV did no work

We pulled up in the parking lot and it was full of police officers. We pull around to try and park and one of the room doors looked like it had been beaten so bad by the cops trying to get into it. Then we get to our room and we were supposed to have two QUEEN beds but the beds we had were barely a Full bed. We also got a non smoker room because we were traveling with a small baby. When we walked in the room smelled horribly of cigarettes.

About the only thing that seemed to be in good maintenance was changing the linens and presumably cleaning the bathtub. Hot water ran out before a full bath - unprecedented in all my years going to hotels. Lose a point for that. Bathroom floor was not swept. Carpet was white stained. Surfaces were visibly dusty. Too close to active and loud road with zero sound absorption. They have no business running a hotel when your sleep quality is almost guaranteed to be compromised by external noise. Continental breakfast was an absolute joke. Haphazardly laid out. No indication of care. Virtually nobody takes these breakfasts seriously, especially in a 2-star hotel, but this was pretty disappointing.

The toilet would not flush, there was no hot water, the bathroom door was unable to shut and latch, there was no trash cans in the room, There was only a sheet and a very very thin comforter on the bed, the door to the room barely shut on its own I had to forcibly push it closed with all my effort

Did not stay there. Paid in full in advance with hotels.com but upon arrival they did not have my room (11:50 pm) and they said they were full. No help at all. Also had to wait for about 10 minutes for someone to show up at the front desk. Ended up having to go to another motel.

Really liked this property and will come here again. My only reasons for giving 4 ⭐s is because I wasn't there long enough. Staff was cool, helpful, and quick with the reservation. The very same person that checked me in let me know how to handle the late checkout and keeping the room for the following reservation.

I received an email 1 hour before check in that my reservation was cancelled. I called the hotel and they said they were over-booked and had to cancel the reservation. We drove 5 hours and had to hunt a hotel last minute. Very unprofessional to cancel by email at almost time of check-in. But yet i have a pending charge to my bank.

Jamal in the office was a complete JERK. He put us in a room that was not cleaned and had no sheets on the bed. He got an attitude when we asked to get moved to a different room. The room he moved us to had a toilet that did not work. We requested a third room to which he replied "Too bad, use the lobby bathroom." Finally the next evening we got into a room that was decent but this experience was awful and we will not be back. This guy needs to be fired because he is the absolute WORST!!! If it was not for Rekita (Sorry if I mispelled or mispronounced) we would have left immediately and tried to cancel everything.

Excellent customer service

Staff was rude and unprofessional my boss booked the room for me because it was pet friendly and they tried to scam me out of an additional 250 dollars for my pets. My stay lasted 3 hours someone walked into our room that was supposed to be locked and due to the unprofessional employees I was forced to leave and was on my sleeping meds it was a horrible experience don't stay there

When I arrived at 2 AM after a 9 Hour Drive, prior To me, calling ahead, I was told I will have a room ready. When I arrived at the facility, there was one female receptionist who already try to cancel my room when I already spoke to a lady hour so we get in there saying I wouldn’t have a problem because I paid a day ahead for basically an early check-in, when I arrive to my room, none of nothing in my room works the TV, phone nothing I did had to go back downstairs to get a new room key the new room key she gave me didn’t even work for the room so I called her on my cell phone let her know I have everything that I own in the hallway on the floor because you gave me a key that did not work. I’m already annoyed because I just drove all this way you already try to charge my card I could’ve caused me to possibly have an overdraft. My room had a strongly overpowering smell of fbreeze; my bed has seen too many miles with deep depressions; appearance of presumed prostitutes in brief negligee in the lobby; room was generally clean. Armed police activity (10-12 units) night of 10/23/2024 throughout the property.

I needed a place to stay for a night and this was perfect. The room was basic, but practical, and most of all, clean. The staff was helpful, and I spent a quiet evening and night preparing for an event the next day.

I checked in late and was “upgraded” to an interior hallway 3rd floor room. I was hesitant. I went to the hallway and was hit in the face with the smell of pot in the air. I entered the room and could still smell it. Even the bedding had the odor. I went back down and asked for another room with an exterior entrance but was told they only had one left. It was referred to as a crackhead room because it was nasty and saved for the nastiest guests. She said she couldn’t sell it to me and offered to spray the hallway to remove the smell. I said fine, left the property for about an hour to give that time to work and returned to several sheriffs car in the property. Sounded like a college campus with all the partying, and this was after 10pm because the pool was closed. I went to my room to see and the smell of pot in the hallway was even stronger. I went into the room and the odor was stronger in there. Not to mention the noise from inside and especially outside was loud. There was a party going on at the gazebo by the pool and I could hear glass bottles clanking around like it was a bar. I said no. Left my key on the dresser by the tv, and left to find another room in a real property. Hope you enjoyed my free rent for the night. I will never stay in this pit again.

The price was rather expensive for the amenities. It says breakfast but it’s really cereal, pastries, waffles, and some mystery in a crockpot maybe gravy. I booked this with breakfast in mind and ended up eating Waffle House next door my whole visit. The staff was nice to me but I heard some arguing and cussing going on with other patrons mainly about towels. The bed was extremely comfortable and I slept like a king. There was random people just walking around outside at night leaving me feeling a little unsafe. I stayed for three days sat-tues and then I ended up at the Hilton downtown Greenville for the remainder of my visit. I don’t think I will ever patron this motel again. I can’t even call it a hotel.

There was someone blasting music outside at 6am in the morning that woke us all up and I had to call down to the desk and complain because no one was doing anything about it. Rooms were great! We were left alone! Quiet! Great price for the week stay! Cons: No cereal for breakfast! Cons: No coffee past breakfast! Cons: No little bottled milk for 2 of those days! Cons: No waffles for one day, the female on duty, was 10 minutes behind getting what breakfast she was going to offer & no waffles & didn't turn the pot of gravy on & did not provide any bread products! Cons: No butter! Cons: No syrup! Other than that, it was great stay!

Bed bugs! Broken toilet, multiple outlets not functioning, insects. Breakfast bar: no drinks, no forks; allowed homeless to come in and fill bags with food/drink items. Bags of trash outside for days.

Breakfast was included, but was limited to biscuits and gravy, muffins and cold cereal. Worst of all both pots of coffee were empty at 8 am.
