The breakfast was great. The walls were thin and we could hear the family next door as though they were in our room. The exercise room was tiny, no fan, missing weights, old equipment. Nice location near lots of restaurants, shopping and the UW.

We always enjoy staying at this location. Awesome pool, all around nice facility.

The pool/hot tub area was nice.The breakfast selections were good but area was alittle tight could if used more room when it got busy. What i didn't like was the picture on the site didn't match the room i booked. For a accessible for handicaps room very small and tight. And were at the end of the hall farest from the elevator. On the 3rd floor. The hotel needs some up updating. Other than that it was a very quite area.

We went for the pool, but a child pooped in it, so pool was shut down from 11am Saturday until we left 11am Sunday. Online, it says all they had to do was remove feces and shock water with chemicals and recirculate clean water, 2 hours. Why did nothing get cleaned in over 24 hours?

This was our first time staying at this Comfort Suites and were pleased. We especially appreciated the reasonable pet rate as we had our two toy poodles with us.

We came for a Badger game. Unexpectedly the hotel had a shuttle, which was great. Parking was fine. The breakfast was just OK. The room wasn't dirty per se, but there were a fair number of hairs in the bathroom. They probably told us at some point there wouldn't be service while we were out (2 day stay), but it was still an ugh moment when we opened the door. The biggest thing was the hotel just seemed beat run down. The bottom of the bathroom door was badly chipped, the toilet paper holder was broken, the sink aerator didn’t work and the water blasted out. The elevator walls were dented and scraped, and there were stains in the hallway carpet. It wasn't horrible, but I ended regretting having prepaid, and wishing I could move somewhere else the second night.

This hotel was very quiet and the beds were very comfy. As someone with allergies to scented detergents and cleaners, I did okay here, which is a big plus for me. I liked how they had affordable pizza delivery options and cheap happy hour beverages. (Though I wish there were non alcoholic ones). The shower has great water pressure and temperature. It was also very easy to get to the isthmus from here. I have to admit that there were a few down sides. The hot tub was never hot, just warm, but it was nice and big. I was disconcerted by the digital gaming (gambling?) in the dining area and pool. I didn't end up getting breakfast because of that, which made the experience unpleasant. Breakfast had very few options. However, staff was nice and I enjoyed my stay over all.

We stayed for a wedding and it was a nice place. The free breakfast had lots of options so the kids and adults were all happy. The pool was nice and not very busy. There was an arcade, pool table, and happy hour. The hotel is located near Lake Mendota which was fun to explore. Location was great. The only issue we had was the toilet was very hard to flush. The handle did not want to move down so it was a struggle for our kids. The service was great and everyone was friendly. I would stay there again.

The elevator makes scary noises and there was glass around the pool from a broken window that had been boarded up. The window wasn't a problem because it was being taken cared of but the glass should have been cleaned up better.

Upon arriving to the hotel the parking lot had vehicles in the parking lot blaring music and permiating smoke from the cars. The smoke had a distinct smell of marijuna. Upon arriving into our room we found garbage behind the sleeper sofa and under both beds. Garbage included gum, M&M’s, various bags of sandwich crackers. We cleaned this up to the best of our ability. When we went to pull out the sleeper sofa we found a dirty fitted sheet that had stains and someone’s hair on it. In the meantime we pulled the extra sheets and blankets from the armour not inly to find stained sheets and again someone’s hair that wasn’t ours. After establishing we wanted to gather new sheets and blankets I took the dirty laundry to the front desk which in turn they gave me a folded up sheet set and blanket set. In turn we returned to the room to find the sheets were stained again. My wife took the sheets back to the front desk and those sheets were finally satisfactory. Once we open the second blanket up we found what looked like mascara stained blanket. I was able to return to the desk and get what was finally a decent looking blanket. During our departure we walked to our truck and found that the vehicle that was parked next to us had thrown out a variety of garbage into the adjacent parking spot. Garbage included leftover wings, clothes, shoes, mascara and flip flops. So much garbage thatbit led us to evaluate our vehicle to ensure that there was not any damage to it.

Good service and our room was relatively clean accept there was garbage left in the window from previous occupants. There was garbage in the elevator our entire stay. The hot tub was nice and hot but filthy. Did pool was also dirty. Just showered right away. Breakfast was convenient and delicious. Front desk was always available and accommodating.

COCKROACHES! Beware! In June 2024, I booked this hotel for two nights for Parent Weekend at UW-Madison. I stayed one night and in the morning, found cockroaches on my door (room 2001)! When I showed my pictures to the woman at the front desk, she said, “ Yep! Those are definitely cockroaches.” She really didn’t seem all that surprised by my findings. She put me in a different room on a different floor (which I was hesitant about anyway; for every cockroach you see there’s a million more that you don’t). The new room smelled strongly of musty chemicals so I checked out. The front desk woman said she would refund me for the second night, but that didn’t happen yet- I’m still working on it! Since the hotels were very full due to Parent Weekend, I had to get a room that was way out of my budget! So upset…

Strong unpleasant odor on 3rd floor and dirty bedsheets

Cleanliness was not a top priority for this hotel. Linen had stains and hair. Walls had spill stains and curtains had visible stains.

The hotel is located in a nice, quiet business park with easy accessibility to Madison-area. The inside of the hotel is dated, very dark in lobby and guest rooms, which gives it a creepy vibe. When I arrived, my room was on the 2nd floor and when you got off the elevator, you could smell something like mold or mildew. When I entered my room, it felt damp and the smell intensified. After about an hour, I realized it was from wet carpet due to the AC leaking. Staff was very helpful in getting me a new room. In my new room, the deadbolt didn’t lock completely, but the room was much cleaner.

Walked into my room and there was a cockroach on the wall alive and moving so I took a video went right back to tell the attendee and she said oh sorry let me switch you rooms. No compensation at that point and I figured something would be offered! So don’t stay here unless you want to take roaches home

The hotel was average. The facility was definitely outdated. The linens on the beds were stained. Carpets had large stains and left socks dirty. The breakfast was average. The TV did not work for most of our stay. We enjoyed playing pool but the table falling apart.

The rooms and the hotel was clean. The breakfast was ok, nothing special but the staff was nice and refilled items when they got low. Good location. Nice and quiet.

Dated, a little run down, keys barely worked and staff were only mildly helpful. Ok for the price, but you won’t feel spoiled there.

Not bad but not great. Just okay. Would have liked the option of 2 queens vs. 2 fulls.

The deadbolt on door not working properly and the secondary security latch had screws falling out.

Large rooms, Great location

Guy was revving his truck engine at 1 am and onward outside. The second time I called the front desk about it (because it didn’t stop), I said I would call the police if it doesn’t stop. Guy could drive to any other empty office building property nearby and top up his battery or whatever, rather than in front of all of the hotel windows. Because of this, I discovered the window was not closed, couldn’t be latched. Faucet in shower missing caulk. Safe could not be used. Other than that, it was a cheap and clean place….

Rooms were very clean and spacious. Only issue is it seemed noisy, we could m hear other rooms water running. Our window didnt shut, which made it even harder to sleep, but overall a really nice hotel.

Room was next to stairs and very loud when people going up and down.

Facilities and staff were great. Beds were tiny and uncomfortable. Bathroom had many broken features.

Hotel was fine but we were overcharged and the front desk was very rude about it. Now they are telling hotels.com it is taxes. The receipt is very clear it is not taxes.

Staff did not know how to bill for accommodation and tried to swipe my card multiple times for deposit. When inquiring about the deposit staff were rude and claimed Expedia charged my card instead of the hotel.

Seems pretty shady business dealings. Tried using hospital discount. Housing department at UW Madison Hospital was not informed that I did not qualify sue to booking through this site. Also my card was charged 136.47 twice and then the final bill of 424.13 for my 3 nights. Which iverdrew my account. Front desk argued with me when I stated that when I asked there about the hospital discount I should have been notified but was not.

Didn't like rude receptionist

Wasn’t able to sleep at all due to partying throughout the entire floor. Called the desk twice- basically told “sorry, too bad, we can’t do anything”. My daughter had an important meet the next day and was affected by the poor service. Called for manager. Left 2 messages. No response. Will never stay here again.

Front desk staff and transportation drivers were extremely pleasant and helpful.

My husband and I arrived around 10 p.m., after a work party. There was no staff to check us in- no one at the front desk although all lights were on and it appeared someone had been working at the front desk recently. We called the hotel 5 or 6 times to try to get the attention of ANYONE to come check us in. We sat there while the phone continued to ring and no one answered. Finally we tried calling the corporate company. They weren't able to help since we booked through a third party (hotels.com). It had been about 25-30 minutes, we were tired, and we almost left when finally a staff member showed up to check us in. This was not pleasing after being tired and just needing a place to sleep. The staff member did not offer an apology or reason why he was not available. The hotel itself was nice, and the breakfast was good. The bathroom in the room was not very clean, but other than that, the room was nice. Overall, if the staff can be available, this would be a fine place to stay, although we probably won't stay here again due to our experience.

I was waiting for 10 minutes at the front desk to check in, a young couple came in at that point, than another woman. It was a full 15 minutes of waiting before a man leisurely walked up and slowly becagan my check in. No apologies for the wait, what so ever. He barely said a word during the process, never even smiled. I realize everyone is understaffed nowadays but friendly customer service is still very much appreciated.

Since my daughter moved to Wisconsin for college, it's become one of my favorite hotels, and my kids love it. The staff is very friendly and the location is very quiet.

Nice property and comfortable stay. Need a car or be prepare to use Uber or Lyft for getting around.

This was a beautiful and quiet place. It felt like we were in the small town/country but were only 15 minutes from downtown Madison!

It was a good hotel for a one night stay. Our bed was very comfortable and the staff were very attentive. The free breakfast was not great and some of the hot food options were cold. The set up could be better as the line got very long on a Sunday morning. We didn’t use the pool/hot tub as it was over run by small kids in town for some tournament. They were in the hot tub without adults, so we just passed but the area looked nice.

My only complaint is the host for the dining area for breakfast this morning was cleaning the tables, counter tops and the garbage lid with the same towel and same same gloves. All the other services were great.

The floors were dirty in elevator and hallways and breakfast area tables were dirty. It would have been a nice hotel if it wasn't dirty.

They advertised that the beds were queen sized. Not queen but full sized. The second bed was pushed up the to the window wall so you couldn't utilize both sides of the bed. We had the breakfast one day; bread was moldy. Needless to say we went out for the breakfast the next day.

Excellent accommodation, the best of our trip that took us three weeks around the US. Superb breakfast.

I really liked the water pressure in the shower, and the breakfast which was really good, with plenty of choices.
