Beautiful rooms, well appointed, spotlessly vlean and a fantastic location but thecesr plugs ard there for a reason. Its a lovely old building with lots of original features including a lag of sound-proofing of double glazing. But the place has so many pros, this minor con doesn't stop me recommending it.

If your room is in the main part of the hotel there is no air conditioning, the bar across the road is noisy and the hotel next door is also noisy if there is a function on. The restaurant food is bland and overpriced, the waiters are super nice but the restaurant manager is grumpy and doesn’t acknowledge you.

The hotel is beautiful. A great central location right near all the cafes and restaurants that Martinborough has to offer. You can take a short stroll or hire a bike to get to the nearby vineyards. The rooms are lovely and comfortable and the staff are very friendly and offer great advice about the local area.

Generally very good 'landmark' historic hotel. Pleasant staff, very helpful. Room clean & tidy. Unfortunately no breakfast available during our stay. One minor cautionary note: the shower stall requires a non-slip surface on the floor as very slippery after washing in the shower!

If your room is in the main part of the hotel there is no air conditioning, the bar across the road is noisy and the hotel next door is also noisy if there is a function on. The restaurant food is bland and overpriced, the waiters are super nice but the restaurant manager is grumpy and doesn’t acknowledge you.

Gammalt mysigt hotell med riktig rumsnyckel. Stort badrum med både badkar och dusch. Tyvärr iskallt golv vilket verkar vara det vanliga i Nya Zealand. Rent och snyggt och trevlig personal. Går inte att äta frukost på hotellet men fiket ”Nara” dvs Nära låg tvärs över gatan med svensktalande chef. Det var kul.

We stayed in the Manhattan room in petit hotel for one night. Room was charming and bed was comfortable. The shower over deep claw-foot bath might be a struggle for the short or less nimble!

Great location for exploring Martinborough. Lovely restaurants, cafes, and wineries! Stayed in the Bidwill room and it was very spacious and comfortable.

Great bed, pillows and shower! Important for a comfy stay so ticks the boxes. No Apple TV- come on update your TV! Why both bed side lamps controlled by one side of bed, odd! The rattling window in the strong winds through the night, am I the first to complain?

Very relaxing and clean hotel. Great having access to the veranda from our room. Nice views too. Beautifilly decorated. Walking access to shops and other eating places. Hotel bar was cosy in the cold weather with good food. Wonderful place to spend a few days
