Charmantes Haus auf Balboa Island!

Wonderful location very nearby the shops and restaurants of Balboa Island. Jill was very responsive and friendly. I really appreciated being able to park my full sized Tundra as parking on Balboa can be very difficult.

We really loved the comfortable open plan living space and peaceful vibe at Jill’s place-the perfect respite during a busy family vacation. Our group spread across two houses, and Jill’s was the place to catch your breath in the quiet hidden courtyard or do food prep unbothered in the very well-stocked kitchen. Easy check in and accommodating host. We had a wonderful visit!!

Jill’s property was in a great location- so close to all the restaurants on Balboa Island. The house was very cute and nestled back from the street which was great for privacy and quiet. The little courtyard was perfect for an evening drink and we even had a friendly visit from a neighbors cat a couple of times, who was adorable. Jill was so friendly and kind! We really enjoyed our stay and would come back again.

Enchanted Onyx was the perfect location for my birthday weekend and the wedding we attended in Newport Beach. Conveniently located on the island close to shopping, dining, delightful coffee. Jill is a very kindhearted, compassionate host just a text away with any questions. Well supplied kitchen. Peaceful courtyard. Highly recommend!!! We will be back

Really enjoyed the property, only one block from town center, but still quiet and private. Comfortable and stocked with everything you need. Parking was provided which really made a difference. Highly Recommend

The cottage gives out vacation vibes from the minute you enter the courtyard. Location can’t be beat- park your car and walk everywhere. We can’t wait to return!

What a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The home was well supplied, had a comfortable and inviting living area, good beds, good showers. No air conditioning, but the fans did the trick. We would definitely recommend this property and are looking forward to returning next year.

This is the second time we have stayed at Jill’s apartment. The location is perfect. The apartment is spacious and well equipped. Jill is a wonderful, and helpful host. We were able to park right outside the home, which is a real plus since parking is very difficult on Balboa Island. Can’t wait to visit again.

This cottage is amazing. The photos don't do it justice. They don't show the beauty and peaceful atmosphere here. I am 69 and went on a sabbatical alone. It is so peaceful and quiet. Having tea in the morning in the Courtyard was amazing. It has a fully stocked kitchen. I can't wait to cook in it next time. It's walking distance to everything. Grocery stores, restaurants, etc are all within a couple blocks walk. The people are very friendly. It has been years since I traveled alone for work. I was apprehensive about going out to dinner alone as it had been over 30 years. One day I had an early dinner at the Village Inn. Two lovely elderly women at the next table put me more at ease with a little chat. As I watched people come and go each greeting others with hugs, kind words and laughter I wished I ventured out earlier. Jill is such a wonderful host. She has a binder with information for activities available locally. I ordered delivery from a Chinese Restuarant. I was finally ready to venture out off the Island. I called a Lyft to a place called Javier's on PCH. The food was amazing, the tequila selection was outstanding. I was like a kid in the candy store. I wish I would have taken the ferry to Newport Beach Rockin' Baja Lobster. One of my favorite SoCal Restaurants. This was my first stay on the Island. I usually stay in Newport Beach and ferry to the island. Never again. I'm trying to coordinate my next stay. Next time I'll be sharing my vacation with my husband.

We have been visiting Balboa Island yearly for 16 years, this was one of our favorite places. Quiet and peaceful. Easy walk to town and the bay. Home was very comfortable, clean and well appointed. In case you can’t tell, we loved everything about this property. Plan to return again soon.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It is very quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of the main street, but close so that you can walk for your coffee, groceries and food. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed visiting and relaxing in the living area and were able to cook just about anything in the well-stocked kitchen. We would definitely like to come back!

Such a comfortable home base for our stay in Balboa Island/ Newport Beach! Highly recommend.

The property was old school, comfortable and charming. My only suggestion is that the next door neighbor please turn off the very bright outdoor light she has on right outside the bedroom window which floods the bedroom with light all night despite the black out shade and prevents sleep. Or perhaps she could install a motion detector light which would easily solve the issue. Other then that it's a lovely and private abode.

Just a perfect little place to spend with my wife and our adult children came for thanksgiving dinner. We love the island and this place was wonderful

We loved staying at this cozy hidden jewel! The house is well stocked with all the essentials and very homey. My husband and I will definitely add this to our list of favorites.

Jill is a wonderful host: available, attentive and helpful! The cottage is in a great location on Balboa Island, close to the main street with restaurants, shops, Balboa Bars and Frozen Bananas :-). It was great fun to be on the Island when the Newport Beach Boat Parade was happening each evening; we loved strolling around the Island to watch the boats and see all the beautiful homes decorated for Christmas. A lovely stay in a lovely place!

Jill was thoughtful and welcoming. It was my wife’s birthday and Jill was kind enough to leave her a note and a ballon. Such a wonderful touch. The property was just as described. The location was perfect and easily accessible to all of the local restaurants.

Excellent location, literally steps away from restaurants, coffee shops and bakeries. Felt like a time machine taking you to the coastal vacation of the 1960s:)

A short block from downtown area with shops and dining. Quiet neighborhood with a very friendly cat next door. I've stayed here previously and will in the future.
