Great overnight stay - the staff was very friendly and the hourly shuttle service to/from the casino was so convenient. Room was clean, enjoyed the tv and big bed. Will definitely be returning to Cherokee in the spring and will more than likely stay at this hotel again.

The beds were too low to the ground. The mattress was worn out and needed to be replaced. The sheets and comforters were dingy. The room was dusty and had Cobb webs near the ceiling. The shower had mold in it. The TV didn’t work properly. Miserable stay.

The beds were comfortable. Pillow hard and uncomfortable. Floors were sticky and turned my socks black. Hubby killed a cockroach in the bathroom. Room was small and we couldn't pass each other in fro t of the bed. The lighting was glaring. Need a soap dish by the sink. Sink spattered over the vanity. Bed coverlet was stained. Housekeeping needs to mop the floors, not just sweep. Pluses. Nice firm beds

Was not that great. It smelled like mold when the heat came on in the room. There were also roaches behind the desk that my husband found crawling around. Breakfast was average, could have better and more selection for the price for one night.

I booked this hotel as a last minute alternate to my preferred local hotel and I was disappointed. The room smelled stale and/or musty when I entered and it never quite dissipated. The complimentary toiletries had already been opened and used by a previous guest and the room hadn't been thoroughly cleaned (seals left where previous guest unsealed the toiletries in the shower). For a "mountain view deluxe", it was neither deluxe or much of a view.

Room was cleaned and nicely maintained during our stay. Staff was friendly and attentive. Breakfast was ample. Dining area would be better if separated from the main entrance and reception desk. Parking was fine. No issues arose that made me feel unsafe.

Even though the room was spacious for both rooms and the beds were comfy, both rooms had roaches and the fridge wasn’t as cold. The staff was friendly which was great. I would stay as a last resort.

When traveling there are 4 things people desire when staying in a hotel. 1. Clean, safe room! The room was clean and somewhat updated, but misleading on the website that I was actually getting an exterior access room. This should be published up front when booking. 2. Heat/AC works! When these items don't work properly, you don't end up getting a great night's rest. It worked....somewhat...but loud and clunky. 3. Water pressure in the bathroom! If you were looking to get a nice, hot, relaxing shower....good luck here. The water pressure is awful and the temperature is regulated to luke warm. 4 Breakfast! It was advertised a free continental breakfast with stay. All that was available was a bowl of cereal, toast, bagel, and coffee. Nothing else. Technically, they fulfulled their obligation, but just barely.

The hotel and staff were great. The room clean and updated. If you want to sleep bring your own pillows. The pillows were most probably from Dollar Tree but I even think Dollar Tree has better pillows for $1.25. Oh they were soooo bad!!!

Overall a nice property with a price that was average considering the area and location. The room, king room, was very roomy and clean. Bathroom seemed a little dated and needing some tlc. It appeared the shower pan, which was large, seemed a little newer. Over all a very nice room, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, flat screen tv with direct tv. The only bad thing about this room, the bed was hard as a rock. I actually looked at the suitcase holding stand and thought, is that thing more comfortable???

At check-in the man at the desk wasn't friendly but wasn't unfriendly either. I asked him a question about the casino and he said he'd never been there. The hotel is clean and quiet but is in need of some TLC.

We drove from Rock Hill Sc. Checked in for Saturday and Sunday stay. Was there 2hrs. Got a phone call. Our daughter was in a very bad accident. Broke her leg in several places. Needed 5 hr surgery to put back together. Of course we had to leave immediately. Checked out. I understood paying for Saturday. But Sunday could have been refunded. But management said no. I would even settle for a credit for another time

The elevator was broken when we arrived and they had given our room to another customer due to a last name similarity. This resulted me and my 8 yo daughter having to haul our bags up 4 flights of stairs. The halls smelt like weed and the beds/pillows were uncomfortable. Will more than likely not stay here again.

Don’t expect anything and you won’t be disappointed. I don’t think the desk clerk even looked up from eating his Wendy’s fast food while he checked us in. It was obvious that the staff couldn’t care less about hospitality…

Smoky Mountain National Park is less than 10 minutes away! The hotel is centrally located to many food options and grocery stores. Harrah’s is right across the street if that is your thing. The room is spacious and clean. Staff are super friendly.

The room was clean the bed was comfy. Nice walk in shower in the bathroom. They had a continental breakfast. All in all a very nice hotel for the money. I would stay there again.

Great walking distance to casino. No food options besides continental breakfast in the morning. Nothing hot to eat. My room was directly across the two common bathrooms so there was a lot of noise going in and out of those. Room was comfortable and plenty of room to spread out. Lobby area was big enough for our group to sit and talk. Plenty of parking spaces. Front desk was very friendly.

When traveling there are 4 things people desire when staying in a hotel. 1. Clean, safe room! The room was clean and somewhat updated, but misleading on the website that I was actually getting an exterior access room. This should be published up front when booking. 2. Heat/AC works! When these items don't work properly, you don't end up getting a great night's rest. It worked....somewhat...but loud and clunky. 3. Water pressure in the bathroom! If you were looking to get a nice, hot, relaxing shower....good luck here. The water pressure is awful and the temperature is regulated to luke warm. 4 Breakfast! It was advertised a free continental breakfast with stay. All that was available was a bowl of cereal, toast, bagel, and coffee. Nothing else. Technically, they fulfulled their obligation, but just barely.

The price in the weekday's is fantastic low. The quality of the room was very good! Breakfast was a bit less but fine for the price. Coffee and tea and other beverages 24/7 free.

Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was very skimpy. Couldn't drink the coffee it was so weak. Plenty of breakfast choices in the area. Overall enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed our stay. It was such a great value and one of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed in, including some much more expensive, "fancier" hotels. Your staff is top-notch and provided excellent customer service throughout our visit. The hotel could benefit from some updates, but considering the value, cleanliness, and exceptional service, I would definitely stay here again. Thank you all so much, and great job to the entire team! The hotel is within walking distance of the casino and offers complimentary pastries and coffee, which were a nice added bonus. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and truly appreciated the hospitality.

When we arrived, and the next day when we left, we entered and exited through the main door of the hotel. Apparently, that is also the designated smoking area so each time we had to walk through a wall of cigarette smoke, not the best welcome or farewell for two non-smokers. The hotel is aging quickly and in need of a significant remodel/refresh. There isn't a fitness center, the continental breakfast was okay, the couch and chair in our room both had rather significant blood stains on them, and my wife and I felt like there were things crawling around (I don't know that there were but the room and bed had that vibe). The staff were kind and the price was very reasonable though.

The room was clean and the amenities were on target. The mattress was a whole different matter. It was hard as a rock. I like a firm bed but it was beyond firm.
