You get what you paid for. We arrived and our room had no body wash or shampoo, just the empty bottles. The water pressure for the shower was non existent and at one point the water just stopped mid shower and took a few minutes to come back. They did make the beds and refill our towels everyday but one day we got a dirty towel with a big gray stain on it. Our room had a missing deadbolt which is funny since it has a big sticker telling you to use it when you’re in the room. Parking spots are a bit tight so keep that in mind if you have a big car.

We had a wonderful stay at Fisherman’s Cove Inn in Monterey! The location and parking were excellent, and the area felt very safe. The rooms were clean, and the service was great. It’s the perfect spot for exploring anywhere on the peninsula—from Monterey to Carmel and beyond. Highly recommend!

Exactly what I am looking for: comfortable bed, hot shower, heater that gets the room toasty quickly, quiet, parking next to my room, very reasonable price - plus my puppy can stay with me for free! Can’t beat that!

The parking lot was a little tight, but that is the nature of parking in any coastal city. :) The staff at the front desk was very friendly and super nice. The property was very quiet and the room was nice and clean. Special touches made the room (which was pretty much a standard hotel room) feel fancy and made me, as a guest, feel special. :) (for example there was a toilet paper rose on the spare roll in the bathroom, and tissue fans in the tissue boxes, so I know great care was taken in preparing the room for my stay) I would definitely stay here again!

The room and towels smelt like mildew. The grout looks filthy. The staff was passive agressive when we inquired about switching from the ADA room.

The reception is very accommodating. The staff is nice. Every day they clean and change the bed linen and towels.

We will definitely stay here again. It is definitely one of the better hotels that we have stayed at during this six week trip. It has been recently updated and freshly painted. The room was very clean. The location is good and within walking distance to the mall.

The room was clean, spacious and modern, but it was lacking a dresser and closet to store and hang clothes. We had to live out of our suitcases for four days. Also, lighting could be better.

Upon check in we were given a room when entering the room was still dirty from the previous guests. Beds not made, trash in the can. We were then given a different room with the same situation. 3rd time was finally the charm and we got a clean room. Very unpleasant experience this is usually our go to place to stay when in the area and it has gone down hill. We will be looking for different accommodations on future trips because of this.

We stayed for two nights at the Fisherman’s Cove Inn. The area is fine, we have stayed at motels along the same street before and are comfortable there. A lot of the motels in this area are older and we’re fine with that, however, I would not stay here again. Our motel room was dirty, like really dirty. There was what looked like scribbling all along one wall, and dirt marks in many other areas of the wall. None of us would walk barefoot because the floor had dirt/crumbs, I don’t know what all over it. Our sheets had, what I hope were stains, in multiple places. It just felt gross. I should have left or said something, but I don’t like to cause issues, so we decided to tough it out. The next day we came back and there was construction happening directly under our room. We could not relax at all it was so loud. This only went on during the day, but we were there to relax, had we been aware that construction was going on we would have gone elsewhere. I contacted Expedia after we returned asking for a possible partial refund/credit. The motel staff denied construction happening. I’m not worried about the refund, we did stay, and I should have said something, but I have video taken in our room with the extremely loud construction noise, along with pictures of how dirty it was. It does bother me that they would lie. I would definitely not stay here again.

We stayed in the family room, it smelled so bad and was dirty. The bathroom was moldy and overall just smells awful.

This place was gross. The bed linens didn’t appear to be washed in years. The heater/air conditioning wouldn’t come on so I played around with the outlet until it started then it wouldn’t shut off. Then I heard a mouse in the wall or bathroom by my bed. I had only been there 2 hrs and left. It was 2 in the morning. Huge inconvenience and I was charged for the night.

The property is in a convenient location. Both check in and check out staff were very nice. The room needs updating, the drapes were coming off the rail/hooks and with spots in some spots from being worn thin, the entry door is misaligned with a gap on one side of the upper door. The beds, however, were very comfortable. The provided coffee was surprisingly pretty good. For a one night stay the room was adequate.

It’s not a fancy place, but it’s clean, the staff is kind and courteous. The only complaint is the noise, you can hear every footstep from the people in the room above you if you are on the first floor.

This used to be a Motel 6 if you see all the previous reviews on Google. $220 night is highway robbery. Plenty of other Inns on the street to stay at. The A/C wall unit does not turn off so had unplug it. Heard a rodent in the wall. Very thin paper walls. Can hear entire convo of next door. Would not recommend or stay again. The only good thing is they don’t take deposit.

Older motel but room was completely renovated. I give it a 10 because it was nice, clean and the price onky a fraction of any other place there. We were only there one nt but it was the only affordable place for our short stay so appreciate we had this option. Was super convenient short drive down to pier (lovely to walk around but restaurants were outlandishly priced tourist traps).

Good size room & design.

Toilet wouldn't flush. Took a couple of hours to address with no positive results. Asked for a different room, however none available. Checked out at 10:00 pm and made other arrangements.

everything with the hotel was super nice until we had to go to the front to check in and check out the guy in the front was super rude and when discussing the dog policy he kept talking over me and wasn't answering any of my questions

The hotel is updated rooms are updated and clean. The front desk employees are so nice! It was the easiest check in process we have ever experienced. The young lady was so sweet and welcoming and fast! The housekeeping staff was also very sweet and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. It’s a good location close to the mall and movie theater and many restaurants.

Came here with my family and it was a nice quiet stay. It's close enough to shopping and restaurants. Overall I am very happy.
