Easy access on #28 bus from union station 15 min away. very old and dated hotel however excellent staff. Quick check in, outside building very safe and quiet. Main building very dirty and sketchy. No pool as advertised Breakfast supposed to be ready by 630 it was 645 still not ready Orange juice not real juice, coffee awesome No water and no ice machine 15 min walk to Safeway, 711 or Santiago's Would not stay again but we needed hotel close to union station for bus to estes

There pool was closed off and not in operation, no one came to clean our room or bring us new towels, only one small trash can in the bathroom and the trash was overflowing in the hallways. The elevator was in poor condition and we almost couldn't find our room because there was no number plate, it was just written on the wall outside the room... Not the worst experience but definitely a lot of areas for improvement. The whole place looked pretty run down and in need of serious renovations/upgrades. We liked that it was very close to downtown and free parking is always a plus!

Pretty weathered with major updates needed. They were mid construction at the time of my stay, aug 2025, so maybe it will improve? Construction started at 7am, don't plan on sleeping in. It was the lowest rate for the area. Ok for a quick overnight with no frills before heading to your final destination.

Photos really misrepresented the place. Showed a pool and breakfast bar but they didn't have them. They went out of their way to tell me this during check in which tells me they know their ad is deceptive and have had complaints already. All they had for the morning was some coffee and a list of fast food places near by. Place was in rough shape. Photos must be old. The hotel doesn't look like this anymore.

The front desk receptionist was great! Poor lady was alone as front desk for two hotels. No breakfast, pool doesn't work. Room toilet and sink were clogged when we walked in which was a huge inconvenience as we had an event to get to right after check in.

Front Staff was nice. Rooms were fairly clean. But pictures of the property are not updated. Pool was out of commission when I stayed there, kind of a bummer. Not much in the lobby at all.

Blood splatter on the wall, mystery fluid on the side of the nightstand, make up on and in sink, sheets were dirty, homeless lady sleeping in the stair way, I went back to the front desk and ask for my money back, was told I was in the room for more than 5 minutes, so no refund, mind you, you have to get into your car and drive around the building to another block, was maybe 15 minutes between checking in at desk, to getting in my car, driving to the other side of the property, taking my luggage in the room, looking around the room, grabbing my luggage, going back to the car, driving back to the front desk area. The front desk lady was very nice, she did get me into another room, it’s really not much better, but it will do for one night. Gross hotel!

I booked this hotel for a one night stay for myself, my sister, her two small children and my mother. My sister and I were attending a concert and planned on my mom watching the boys at the hotel. Upon entering we were absolutely disturbed by the conditions. Luckily the sheets were clean but there were holes in the sheets on one of our “queen” beds (they were maybe full sized beds). The room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned ever. My sister wiped down the floors seeing as there were two small children with us and the towel was completely black and totally disgusting. The door looked as though it had been kicked in quite a few times with no secondary locking option. The pool was halfway empty and full of green scum. The pictures DO NOT match anything that is offered. Do not be fooled this place is absolutely disgusting.

This was the worst room I have ever stayed in. Smelled like cigarettes even though it was a non smoking room. Very worn down. Still had drug paraphernalia in one of the drawers, so wasn’t fully clean. Spend the money and stay somewhere nicer like a Marriott.

The staff I met were very nice and helpful, but when I arrived in my room, the room was very dirty and dingy, the towels had not been changed and were wet from the last users, the sheets looked slept in, the phone didn't work, there was no garbage can or cup/glass, the main wall switch by the door didn't turn on any lights, and there was no roller to hold the toilet paper. In the three days I was there, the room was never cleaned. I went to the desk for clean towels, and the were very helpful. I asked about the dirty room and they told me the women were working as hard as they could, but it had been a busy week. The area around the hotel does not seem safe and there are no eating options other than the two gas stations on the corner.

It was alright; I was expecting worse. The woman that checked us in was very nice and helpful. The room was old and I could have looked past that if it were clean. There was grime everywhere. We spent a while clorox wiping everything. The beds were comfy (we Lysol sprayed them). The room was cleaner when we left. You could see daylight through the bottom of the door. Which lead to a cricket getting in. Thank goodness it wasn't a cockroach.

We stayed in the cheaper part of the hotel a bit below the main property. It's been remodeled and is comfortable. TV, hot water, locks, fridge all work. Sink drain was broken but I could make it open finally. Linkage was bent up previously Brought the issue to management. Has a coffee maker and smallish tv in the room. To get ice you hike across a sidewalk, two flights of outside steps to the rear entrance of the main building by the laundry facility. ONE place for the entire two hotels? Internet crawled at best any / all times I tried it... often. I tested the speed.. Maybe enough AT TIMES to get an email out. Cruising for restaurants, attractions etc? Forget it. I brought this up to the night manager and got an argument that it'll always be slow at a motel/ hotel??? I put wifi IN motels where I live and don't use that excuse. Not paying for enough bandwidth; a common problem at some motels. All in all a nice stay though. Good location and not a bad price til they get offered enough to tear it down like all the motels around it have been already.

The two bed rooms are really really outdated and the beds are tiny. Once we went back to show we booked a king bed we were moved to a room with the right bed but we were told it was an upgrade. Lots of confusion with the Expedia booking vs hotel Booking.

Not fancy but comfortable and affordable! Although it could use a little updating it was a fine hotel and had an amazing view of the Denver skyline. Close to downtown and was great for a couple night getaway. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice for a quick stay if you don’t plan on spending much time in the rooms. The beds were horrible and made noise any time you moved and the pillows were so small and only had two to a bed. The walls were so thin so we could hear everything going on in the halls and other rooms at 4 in the morning.

FRAUD!!! The hotel contacted me directly and ask me to pay for my room because they were going to be full. When I arrived the next day the night manager Pablo had canceled my reservation and kept my money! He charged the entire weekend to my card but canceled my reservation! When I spoke to the other manager angelique, she says they are a team and they have to back each other up even if it's fraud. THEY ARE REFUSING TO REFUND MY MONEY.

Absolutely terrible. The front desk put me in an interior room when I requested an exterior room SOECIFICALLY because of mine and my fiances service animals. Then proceeded to cuss us out and be blatantly rude when we had our pups in the interior building, threatening to kick us out as if it were our fault. She then descriminated and wouldn't let us switch rooms OR pay for another night. She was God AWFUL.

The 2 front desk personnel that helped me during this visit are an asset to the property. Both were professional, friendly, listened to my travel issues and kindly accommodated me. Very helpful. With a smile. I would definitely visit the Rodeway again in the future. Due to the awesome customer service provided by the lady and gentleman front desk personnel.

I showed up in Denver after 2 delayed flights and was exhausted. Went to check in, as I had reserved a room via expedia a week in advance. Went up to the counter and the man behind the desk said they were sold out. I told him I had a reservation. He said it wasn’t his problem. So i was stuck alone in a strange city at 10:00 at night. I ended up paying a fortune at another hotel because of my last minute reservation. I believe expedia should remove this hotel from their hotel options if the hotel isn’t going to honor it’s reservations. I would recommend that nobody ever book a room in at this establishment. Worst experience I’ve ever had with a hotel.

The front desk receptionist was AMAZING ( I'm so sorry I can't remember her name but I think it's Angela?) she was amazing and asked if we were here for a concert and upon saying yes she was so informal about the best ways to get to the venue and even how much the parking was etc as well as local recommendations. We highly appreciated her kindness. Now for the room itself. Might be a preference thing but the beds were incredibly hard and not very comfortable and our lamp did not work and the shade was torn but everything else was perfect about it

We got there at 3pm and had to wait 20 minutes while they counted down their drawers before they even started assisting people. There were 4 people in front of me and 3 behind me. There was a moth and a spider in the bathroom that were both dead. Our friends who was part of this reservation had togo back 3 times to the front desk as the key didn't work. Maintenance who was supposed to help did not speak English it took 3 times for them to finally figure out the issue and fix. The manager in duty was extremely rude and unhelpful. She left her one employee to cover everything while she was in the back room eating. The rooms were really run down and didn't look like they haven't been updated in years. Cigarette butts everywhere.

For the money it was a great value. Not a bad place to stay. Clean, comfortable bed, hot water. Staff was friendly. Nice location. Close to stadium and several restaurants. Breakfast was included. Older place but fit the bill.

Pretty run down, not the safest hotel for sure but only needed a place to sleep after a concert and within walk distance of Ball Arena so it was fine. Def spring for a little nicer hotel right across the intersection next time.

Really liked the view of downtown Denver from the Budget Inn location. Staff at check in was very accommodating and friendly. I was staying by myself and had no issues during my 4 night stay but did frequently notice what seemed to be homeless individuals loitering across the street from the hotel. I had a 6am flight and had to checkout really early (3:30am) on Sunday but when I went to return the room key to the front desk did not find anyone at the reception after waiting 10-15 minutes. Ended up leaving key in the room before departing to the airport. This is a good option for someone traveling by themselves that just wants a place to rest in Denver for a reasonable price but would not recommend for families traveling with younger children given my experience.

We were in town for the Metallica concert and loved how close the location is to mile high, made it easy to walk to and from the concert. Good restaurants in area as well. Room was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Hoped for a bit more variety from the breakfast, was also disappointed that there wasn’t a toaster available

One of the receptionists was very good, while the others was very rude and not helpful at all. The hotel was old and looked under a little renovation. The continental breakfast was not attended to very well out of most items.

Easy access on #28 bus from union station 15 min away. very old and dated hotel however excellent staff. Quick check in, outside building very safe and quiet. Main building very dirty and sketchy. Photos really misrepresented the place. Showed a pool and breakfast bar but they didn't have them. They went out of their way to tell me this during check in which tells me they know their ad is deceptive and have had complaints already. All they had for the morning was some coffee and a list of fast food places near by. Place was in rough shape. Photos must be old. The hotel doesn't look like this anymore.

If you're looking for a decent place to stay for a night, this would do it. Just simple and affordable. Has an OK breakfast in the morning. The place is fairly clean. Could probably use a few upgrades. Nothing really major though. I had no problems. Just wish there was a coffee pot in the room. That is about the only thing I missed.

The front desk receptionist was AMAZING ( I'm so sorry I can't remember her name but I think it's Angela?) she was amazing and asked if we were here for a concert and upon saying yes she was so informal about the best ways to get to the venue and even how much the parking was etc as well as local recommendations. The good about the say was that walking distance to the football stadium is excellent... about 12 minutes. There was no charge for parking which saves about $50/night downtown. The daily rate was also good. The front desk staff treated us well. Now the bad... we stayed 2 days and the room was not cleaned after the first night. There was no hot water during our stay. The shower head was broken at the connection to the bib so water sprayed on the ceiling and outside the shower. The elevator was nasty with much graffiti. The TV in the room did not match the TV brand so there was no way to access functions like closed captioning. The furniture in the room was stained badly in addition to some old stains on the bed sheets. If you are willing to put up with issues like those stated, the room is a good value. If not, look elsewhere.

I have never been somewhere so disgusting. Stayed for an hour…that time was spent inspecting and taking pictures of the horrible state of the room and to find a better hotel. This place is cheap but that doesn’t mean it should be completely neglected. Bathroom door had been kicked in and was stapled together but not actually held together. Pick a surface, you’ll spot more stains than you can name. Used medical tape stuck on the walls. Corners of filthy grime. Burn holes in the curtains. Whole building smells smoked in but not what you buy in the gas station or dispensary. Elevator full of graffiti and destroyed wooden paneling. They have listed that they renovated in 2024 but fail to inform you that the renovation was modeled after the hospital in Silent Hill. My friend said the hotel was reminding her of The Shining…I assured her, The Shining was much nicer. So if you have any care for cleanliness or comfort or even if you don’t and wouldn’t mind sleeping in a dump…you shouldn’t stay here. I’ve worked decomp scenes more appealing and better smelling than this place.

We choose this hotel for it's proximity to Empower Field. It was within walking distance and served it's purpose for what we needed. It wasn't very clean or well maintained but we weren't expecting much.
