Balthasar Neumann Speiserei & Gästehaus - Zentrum Brühl -E-Ladestation, nähe Phantasialand

De prijs kwaliteit verhouding was heel goed. Mooi in het centrum op loopafstand van beide stations. Wij overnachten in Bruhl voor Phantasialand en de bus was 300 meter lopen. We kregen een gratis kamer upgrade welke zich in een woning met 4 kamers bevond, 100 meter van Balthasar. Er zit een gedeelde tuin bij de woning. In en uitchecken was gemakkelijk. Wat kan verbeterd worden; de hoofdkussens, het synthetische dekbed, het hoeslaken dat pillig was. Het toiletblok in de wc dat te sterk rook. Het extra bed lijkt meer op een logeerbed. Het buitenmeubilair kan worden schoongemaakt. Op loopafstand verschillende bakkerijen, restaurants en supermarkten te vinden.

Parksituation

Parking payant contrairement à ce qui est indiqué (10€ par jour), de plus les places ne sont pas très pratiques. Appartement (sans cuisine) un peu vieillot mais grand et bien situé, à proximité des rues piétonnes, des restaurants et du château.

Prima vierpersoons kamer. Erg ruim. Rustig. Het hotel is erg onhandig te bereiken en nergens was van te voren goed aangegeven waar je je auto kon parkeren. Dat was wel jammer, want kostte extra veel tijd zo.

Great value, for children - they’d only eat the bread and jam and the boiled egg so maybe not so. The rooms were more apartment style with a balcony with table and canopy. Clean and well appointed but, because mosquitoes wear goggles in Germany, the windows had to be closed so air conditioning would be really welcomed or at least a fan. I didn’t sleep well, I was way too hot.. the only sticking point really. All in all a great experience and we’d return without hesitation (if you put a fan in!!!). The beds are good. The street is calm. The staff is nice and speaks english atop of german. The Phantasia Land shuttle is near. The parking (10 euros per night) is not far, but is a bit difficult with 5 meters cars. There was no key for the bathroom, which is accessible from either two separate rooms, thus we had to make rules ( knock on door before entering the bathroom/toilet ). The two satellite tv’s are not very good, and they are not smart tv’s which for that price i’ve expected, so don’t think about using your Netflix account during your stay. The hotel announces sauna and jacuzzi, but there’s only sauna until 10pm. My daughters tell me a woman used a key to open their door and asked if the stay was pleasant, my daughters did not put the do not disturb sign on the door, that might explain. Overall the price for the stay was okay considering Germany is expensive compared to other places in the world.

Rezeption kann nicht angefahren werden, Zimmer sind dann nochmal 5 min zu Fuß. Parkhaus ist auch extern 10 Minuten (besonders schön im Regen mit Gepäck). Frühstück muss man morgens wieder laufen. Zimmerausstattung geht zum Teil nicht.

Service impeccable, j'ai demandé une bouilloire et d'autres serviettes qui nous ont été apportés directement dans la chambre. Lit plutôt confortable, chambre ancienne avec des meubles dépareillés mais pour un court séjour cela reste suffisant. L'ensemble était propre. La localisation en plein centre ville est un plus, avec une facilité d'accès à Phantasialand 👍 Un peu compliqué pour se garer mais il est possible de stationner au parking de l'hôpital pour 10€.

If there is only one hotel left in the area to stay in perhaps try somewhere other than here. The rooms were like cheap student accommodation with tatty mismatched furniture and felt very grubby. The rooms had the stale smell of nicotine and we got a few bites in the bed. Breakfast was an overpriced continental breakfast of a few rolls some meat and some cheese. Should have googled bakeries before making the decision. Staff were friendly though. I’m frustrated that I did not raise my concerns with the management personally but in all honesty i will put it down to a holiday experience and we were short of time and no one was available at the time of the check out

Wir hatten eine Nacht gebucht, um aufgrund der weiten Anreise eine Nacht in der Nähe von Köln unter zu kommen, da wir am nächsten Tag die Fibo besucht hatten. Der Preis war für diese Zeit ok, da die Preise allgemein höher sind, wenn Fibo ist. Der Empfang war auch in Ordnung, so viel hatten wir aber auch nicht mit ihnen zu tun. Nun zu der Erklärung der Bewertung: Sauberkeit: - die Dusche war noch triefend nass und wies Schimmel auf, der Duschkopf funktionierte, aber es spritzte aus allen Richtungen - der Boden war sehr dreckig - die Fernbedienung und der Tisch haben geklebt - die Steckdosen waren sehr verstaubt - das Bett war in Ordnung Zustand der Einrichtung: - altmodisch aber für eine Nacht ok - Eine abgeschlossene Türe, die ins nirgendwo führt, macht einen unsicheren Eindruck - keine funktionierende Belüftung im Bad - Eingangstüre wie Kellertüre, Licht knallt morgens voll aufs Bett, keine Möglichkeit der Abdunkelung - Schlüssel sollte im Zimmer liegen gelassen und die Außentüre zugezogen werden, lies sich aber immer noch öffnen, sehr suspekt Umgebung: - Zimmer war im Hinterhof in einem Keller - Baustelle direkt vor der Türe - die Gäste darüber haben getrampelt wie Elefanten - ständiges Piepen aus dem verschlossenen Nebenraum, gehen von Waschmaschine oder Spülmaschine aus, sehr nervig - Fußgängerzone mit dm, Netto, Bäcker - einziger positiver Aspekt - nah am Parkplatz Belverde Brühl, fußläufig 5 Minuten Für eine Nacht echt in Ordnung, kommen aber nie wieder.

Gefallen hat mir nicht, daß es im Badezimmer sehr streng nach Urin gerochen hat und der Fernseher im Elternschlafzimmer nicht funktioniert hat. Ausserdem gab es an einer Schlafseite des Elternbetts eine Lampe aber ohne Steckdose, somit war diese unbrauchbar. Das Frühstück für 12,50€ p. P. war auch nichts Besonderes. Der Kaffee war sehr dünn, die Brötchen aufgebacken und für die Kinder gab es z. B. keine Schoko Creme, Kakao gab's nur auf Anfrage. Gut war die zentrale Lage und die Nähe zum Phantasialand.

Der Treppenflur sah aus, als wäre er länger nicht gesaugt worden. Die Toilette habe ich erst einmal mit der Toilettenbürste bearbeitet-ohne großen Erfolg. Der Kühlschrank war unglaublich dreckig- außen und innen, einige Steckdosen waren gefährlich locker. Das Laken der Matratze wirkte auch nicht besonders sauber. Auf einen Zimmertausch habe ich mich nicht eingelassen, weil ich mir nicht vorstellen konnte, dass mich dort mehr Sauberkeit erwartet. Statt zwei geplanten Nächten bin ich nach einer Nacht abgereist.

Leider haben wir keine Gute Erfahrung gemacht. Checkin war Top und Zügig. Aber ab dann wurde es immer schlimmer. Im Zimmer war Müll und staub egal wo man Hinsieht. Die Bettwäsche war gebraucht und roch nach Schweiß. Das Frühstück für 12,95€ empfehlen wir nicht. 2 Trockene Brötchen und eine wurst Platte wo nichtmal Mäuse von Satt werden. Zum Frühstücks Kellner möchte ich nur sagen das er sehr Unfreundlich ist und es nicht schaft ein weiches ei zu machen. Alles in allem ein Misarabeles Hotel

leider war der Boden so schmutzig unsere Füße waren schwarz. Wir hatten kein Wlan Zugang und erreichen konnten wir auch niemanden. Die Lag ist sehr gut und ruhig. Die oberste Etage ist sehr warm. Im allgemeinen sehr spartanisch eingerichtet

Spinnenweben an der Decke, alte Duschgelreste in der Dusche. Ansonsten sauber und ordentlich. Das Gebäude in dem wir waren ist sehr hellhörig, hat uns persönlich jedoch nicht gestört. Toll war dass beide Zimmer eine eigene Terrasse hatten.

Easy check in process although the room is in a separate location to the reception. Staff were friendly. Clean room. Walls were paper thin and floorboards above very squeeky. Our neighborhs upstairs were very loud between 0200/0400 and kept us awake. However this noise was not the fault of the hotel.

Not a bad place however windows are thin and its very noisy. My room was not like in the pictures or advertisement i had not kitchenette. We checked in very late so please be aware that there was a surcharge here. 10 euro for every hour after midnight. I would also say hotel was poor at getting back to me as i wrote them and email saying i was checking in late and would this be a problem i got no response. So had to call them in the end. But the room itself was ok. It was in a great location for the town centre.

Our hotel room was a short walk from the check in desk/restaurant. The room was on the third floor and was spacious had private bath and shower. Check out was easy enough we were told to just leave the key in the room when we leave. The bus direct to phantasialand was a few minutes walk from the hotel and directly in front of the train station.

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Balthasar Neumann. They worked with us to address an issue with our ability to check in during the standard hours. The family rooms that we had were wonderfully large and comfortable -- I actually regret not having more time in the room! The area around the hotel has many pedestrian-focused streets and available cafes etc. The station is about a 15 minute from the station without luggage -- allow a little longer if you are pulling bags along the brick sidewalks and roads.

Nice location, and overall not bad experience. It did take us some time and a couple of trips to the registration desk to get the right wifi password. And we were unlucky with the room. It was on the ground floor with a roof-covered terrace, and because of the roof there was poor circulation of air. So it was too warm inside the room.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The property space was quiet big and the rooms were cleaned every day and clean towels given which was nice.

Stayed in Bruhl for football in Cologne. Staff were friendly and even went with my friend to show him where to park the car. Good value for a very spacious apartment.

It was really nice. Everybody was very helpful. The restaurant was really good. Maybe the breakfast could be a little improved and it would be very pleasantvto have an electric kettle in the room. Otherwise everything went really well.

Über die Unterkunft selbst kann ich nichts Bewerten und tue dies auch nicht, da ich nicht vor Ort war. Jedoch kann ich den Service und den Hotelbetreiber selbst bewerten. Geplant war mit 4 Personen anzureisen, aus Krankheitsgründen war dies jedoch nicht möglich. Aufgrund einer Fehlkommunikation kam die Stornierung nicht rechtzeitig beim Hotel an. Trotz mehrerer Anrufe, sowohl mit Expedia als auch mit dem Hotel selbst, kam mir das Hotel auf kulanz nicht entgegen. Expedia teilte mir mit, dass Hotels die Möglichkeit haben eine kleine Pauschale entgegenzukommen. Das wäre für mich auch absolut ausreichend gewesen - hauptsache etwas! Das Hotel kam mir trotz geführter Anrufe als auch einer E-Mail nicht entgegen. Keine Reaktion. Wäre das Hotel mir zumindest etwas entgegengekommen, hätte ich defintiv meine nächste Reise nach Brühl über das Hotel gebucht. Nun defintiv nicht mehr. Absolut keine Empfehlung, den so etwas wie Kulanz gibt es hier leider nicht.

Altbau nicht isoliert, in nachbar zimmer waren einige jugendliche die bis 3 uhr morgen party gemacgt habe, habe gegen mitternachts die rezeption angerufen aber würde nicht unternommen, um 6Uhr morgen hat das teater wieder angefangen, bestimmt was diese meine letzte besuch in den hotel.

Tolles Zimmer gewesen mit kleinem Balkon. Durch die Zentrale Lage hat man so viele möglichkeiten essen zu gehen oder abends ne Stadt runde zu drehen. Bis zum Bahnhof sind es gerade einmal 11 Minuten langsamer Fußmarsch. War ein toller Aufenthalt!

Wie die Jahre zuvor war es wieder ein Toller Aufenthalt hier! Schön Städt nah das Hotel.

Zeer basic kamers. Een bed, een douche, toilet en een koelkast die veel geluid maakt. Een super lekker ontbijt en zeer vriendelijke ontvangst zowel bij de receptie als bij het ontbijt.

Um Parkmöglichkeiten wurde sich gekümmert, da es etwas schwierig war als Gast irgendwo ohne Parkausweis zu parken. Die Wohnung war ok, die Matratze genau richtig nur in dem kleineren Badezimmer war die Dusche nicht nutzbar, da die Tür durch das Waschbecken nicht weit genug auf ging und nicht richtig geschlossen hielt und das Wasser dann ins Bad lief. Das andere Bad war ok und wir haben dann dieses genutzt👍

I didn’t sleep well, I was way too hot.. the only sticking point really. All in all a great experience and we’d return without hesitation (if you put a fan in!!!). Perfect for Phantasialand.. 5 minutes drive away.

Schön fand ich, daß wir ein "Kinderzimmer" und ein Elternschlafzimmer hatten. Gefallen hat mir nicht, daß es im Badezimmer sehr streng nach Urin gerochen hat und der Fernseher im Elternschlafzimmer nicht funktioniert hat. Ausserdem gab es an einer Schlafseite des Elternbetts eine Lampe aber ohne Steckdose, somit war diese unbrauchbar. Das Frühstück für 12,50€ p. P. war auch nichts Besonderes. Der Kaffee war sehr dünn, die Brötchen aufgebacken und für die Kinder gab es z. B. keine Schoko Creme, Kakao gab's nur auf Anfrage. Gut war die zentrale Lage und die Nähe zum Phantasialand.

Das Frühstückspersonal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, jedoch hätten wir es besser gefunden frische Brötchen zu bekommen ( waren aufgebackene Brötchen) für 12.90 € pro Person. Zimmer ist etwas ins alter gekommen und könnte liebevoller eingerichtet werden. Parkplatz für 10€, würden 5 € auch reichen. Aber allem in allem war es ein angenehmer Aufenthalt

Leider haben wir keine Gute Erfahrung gemacht. Checkin war Top und Zügig. Aber ab dann wurde es immer schlimmer. Im Zimmer war Müll und staub egal wo man Hinsieht. Die Bettwäsche war gebraucht und roch nach Schweiß. Das Frühstück für 12,95€ empfehlen wir nicht. 2 Trockene Brötchen und eine wurst Platte wo nichtmal Mäuse von Satt werden. Zum Frühstücks Kellner möchte ich nur sagen das er sehr Unfreundlich ist und es nicht schaft ein weiches ei zu machen. Alles in allem ein Misarabeles Hotel

It was really nice. Everybody was very helpful. The restaurant was really good. Maybe the breakfast could be a little improved and it would be very pleasantvto have an electric kettle in the room. Otherwise everything went really well.

Good quiet location for a visit to Köln. Very near to public transport by bus and U-Bahn. Good beds and good breakfast

Finding the place is a challenge as Brühl is largely pedestrianised but it’s in a lovely tucked away corner of the main drag and parking (an additional extra) is just along the next street, fenced and seemingly secure. The manager/ proprietor was very welcoming and was at the time working the restaurant, an apparent jewel in the crown of the town. We had breakfast here which was a top dining experience, plentiful and served by a lovely gentleman. The kids were not so keen on the general offering which makes me believe that they don’t really cater for them- the price was the same regardless.. for us. Great value, for children - they’d only eat the bread and jam and the boiled egg so maybe not so. The rooms were more apartment style with a balcony with table and canopy. Clean and well appointed but, because mosquitoes wear goggles in Germany, the windows had to be closed so air conditioning would be really welcomed or at least a fan.
