Williamsburg Lodge, Autograph Collection

Room and property was very clean and quiet and in very good shape. Slightly confusing with many buildings so took a little bit to figure out where you were. Walking distance to Colonial Williamsburg and lots of shops and restaurants. Keurig coffee in the room which was nice but any more than that you need to walk to the lobby coffee shop.

Conference room & hotel room ok. Furniture in room was worn, bed was comfortable. Staff at first was unfriendly- didn’t offer parking ticket- had to wait until they were ready to register later on day.

We have stayed in several of the autograph collection and this property just is not up to par. Our room was reasonably clean but worn. Hallway had banged up walls, doors badly needed a paint job, furniture was old and worn. No shampoo. No complementary water…. Bottle of water in the room was $7. No the standard stay.

Great hotel with an excellent location that makes it very convenient to explore the area. Breakfast is good, but be prepared for it to take some time.

I have mixed reviews. Location is wonderful. Staff is very friendly. Hotel is very clean. My room was on the smaller side for a king bedded room, but livable as its an older hotel. Bathroom was small. My rating is due to 2 things. It took over 20 minutes to check in. That's really unacceptable for today's standards. A second person finally came out to help. The second incident was at the bar. We were seated for over 20 minutes again and were completely ignored. We gave up and left.
