We had a wonderful stay at the property while taking in the natural hot springs and the falls. It was definitely on the pricier side for what you receive, but an experience to remember. The one thing we weren't aware of was that there isn't a cold swimming pool to cool down in in the warm summer heat. There is a pool they call a 'summer cool pool' but it's only a few degrees than the natural hot pools, and one small hot-tub sized cool pool which you can take a quick dip in to cool off. Other than that it was a great spot to visit.

Der lugter meget af svovl 24/7 også når du skal sove. Masser af liggestole selvom der kommer gæster der ikke overnatter på hotellet. Restaurant og bar overpriced i forhold til kvalitet. Morgenmad lækker og med lækre, sunde og friske smoothies etc. Lige lige ved Saturnia, men på landet og ikke meget sndet i nærheden end vin og olivensmagning

The spa experience was very good. The room was comfortable, very clean, and well appointed. The restaurant offerings were very good. The main attraction is the hot spring pool. It's an historic wonder. The sulphur smell is omnipresent, I got used to it. The therapeutic effect of my stay was real. I will return.

Elegante resort,con buon servizio,però trascurato nella pulizia e nei dettagli in generali. Tappeto di camera e corridoio sempre sporco,anche se la cameriera gira con l’aspirapolvere agganciato nel carrello,tenda sganciata nella sala del bar vicino al camino,poltrone davanti al camino macchiate,piastrelle del bagno con le fissure nere,ecc,ecc.Manca un occhio attento per la manutenzione in generale.Peccato perché in passato era tenuto molto bene ed era un piacere soggiornare in questo hotel.

We had a lovely relaxing stay at this hotel. The staff were excellent and the hotel was very clean. The spa pool is lovely and soothing and made my skin feel amazing. The restaurant was lovely although limited in choice. We are English and did struggle with the menu translation and communication with the staff. The rooms are lovely and spacious and beautiful however showing some signs of wear. Worth a nights stay to swim in the spa pool.

Pasamos una estancia muy agradable y relajante. Algo que es importante a tener en cuenta es que sentiras un olor extraño, al principio pense que era de la propiedad pero es el azufre de las termas, seria algo bueno que te lo comuniquen para que no te lleves un disgusto pensando que es por otra cosa. Comidas excelentes, el desayuno muy completo, el servicio y el personal destacables. El lugar esta muy limpio, se nota que es una propiedad antigua pero la mantienen muy bien!

Loved the property we enjoyed a beautified suite in the new wing which I highly recommend. Staff was very friendly and accommodating from the moment we have arrived. Loved the feel of the resort totally relaxes you from the moment you arrive. Dining was wonderful although be weary of the fact that some of the waters aroma in the air may affect the taste of your food or wine especially at dinner time. So I would recommend indoor dining for that reason. We did however enjoyed the feel of the property - we did not play golf but would love to try it next time we go back

There was no prior warning on the difficult road travel to this property and it’s over an hour off highway with treacherous roads to get there. The sulphur smell (sour) was challenging because it was still in your room. The front desk could only say you get used to it. The roaming feline cats cowling loudly at night was surprising and finally the loud music from the bar until late into the night left going to bed at a decent hour because we knew from our room exactly what song was playing. If I’m being honest, I would never return to this property even if airfare, accommodations, and transport was provided. I wouldn’t even accept to stay there.

O único senso ficou por conta do restaurante 1919, com um atendimento muito fraco, pedimos uma garrafa de champagne que foi servida em copo de. Vinho tinto! Tive que pedir para tricar, a equipe perdida, não conheciam os pratos, demoraram 17 min para nos atender depois que sentamos… enfim este restaurante não esta a altura do hotel!

It was a beautiful experience in a lovely part of the countryside. The natural volcanic spring was amazing! The only negative aspect of the experience was dealing with the day shift host. We were asking about the different ways to get to the natural spring falls and he was acting like we were wasting his time. A complete 180 from the woman who helped us on the evening, Francesca. She was lovely.

The property is secluded and has a private spring so you don’t need to leave the premises unless you want to go to public hot springs or to have a meal. The town is also remote and quaint, but you have to drive a couple of miles to get to it.The property has a good gym and the breakfast has a very good selection.

Beautiful hotel. Great food. Nice staff. Beware of the location…. We arrived by train and was forced to get transportation to the hotel which cost us 200 euros. The hotel is 45 minutes from the train station and it is a ghost town. There are no taxis available at the train station. Make your arrangements before arrival.

It may not be super easy to reach Saturnia ( Rome is the best way) but once you are there be prepared to be pampered and to feel you best ever> The hotel is great, the staff superb and the treatment at the Spa first rate. And all this without talking about the amazing thermal waters who have been flowing for 3,000 years!

No complaints about the property. Everything was nice, staff members very friendly and accommodating. BUT property address did not show up on the navigation system on our rental car, and Google Map kept giving us wrong directions. By the time we reached the property, it was late and we were exhausted. Reception talked to the restaurant on property, and we were able to have fine dinner before their kitchen closed. Unless you enjoy long walks, driving to Terme di Saturnia (hot springs) outside the property is recommended. Parking there is free before 8AM. Wearing tight water shoes is recommended as it was hard for us to walk in hot springs with our flip flops.

The attention for me was overwhelming. I am not used to this treatment. Everyone of the staff was helpful and nice. I got a couple notes: - Do the things in the bigger towns that you need before arriving to this place because the options are limited and not convenient - Come in a car because public transportation is doable but I don’t recommend - the public spring waters are not a minute walk. It took me 30 minutes to walk to the exit of the resort and when I put the gps to go to the place it was another 30 minutes. Recommendations: Not necessary but it will have help me and save me the embarrassment (again it was mainly my fault ) - invest in an ATM so foreigners can have an easy access to cash since the hotel does not do currency exchange. Other than that, I will have to come again when my health is better to see the public spring waters. Thank you for your service.
