Charter Hotel Telford

Clean comfortable room, good tv with all the Freeview channels, good reliable wi-fi, air conditioning was excellent but needs to be controlled by reception as the control in the room doesn't work. The bed was very comfortable, and the staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful.The location was excellent - just outside the town centre and with 24-hr garage and McDonalds next door, and Greggs and Subway. Excellent bar and grill next door, which I'd happily travel to to eat at again. Easy walking distance to a Co-Op and Aldi.

Wouldn’t stay here again. The name on here is not the name of the hotel which is odd. It’s clearly a former well know chain hotel and the bed is comfy. In my room all the bedside lights were not working. The description on this app says the hotel has a restaurant?it doesn’t - it’s a bar across the car park. It also says you can get breakfast but this is a lie. Looking back at other reviews it has been a lie for a while now. Place is a bit dishevelled. Staff nice. Bed comfy.

Nice hotel, Elliott ,who was in reception, was very helpful and polite, we had a slight problem with the air conditioning in the room which he sorted out straight away. Nice to see a smiling face.

The room was clean, the staff were very helpful. My TV and extractor in the bathroom weren't working, the staff sorted them straight away!!

Way too expensive for what it is....The whole place needs refurbishing. Dated bathroom, stains on carpet, holes in the curtains. Website advertises breakfast but when we we enquired about it we were told they don't do breakfast anymore as they're under new ownership. Why advertise it on the website then?! Two positives- the bed was comfy and the staff were friendly and welcoming.
