This hotel offered good value for money. It was quiet and clean, the staff were helpful, and the complimentary breakfast was a welcome bonus. I was attending a wedding nearby, so the location was very convenient. There was a small issue at check-in, when I was told that payment was still outstanding. After travelling for four hours, I paid in cash because the card machine wasn’t working. The following day, I checked my Hotels.com account and discovered that I had already paid in advance. The manager apologised and promptly refunded the cash. The steps outside the hotel can also be challenging when approaching from the road. Despite the steps and the payment mix-up, I enjoyed my stay and would say the hotel offers good value overall.
