L'architecture de l'hôtel est assez exceptionnelle. Une partie est de magnifique construction 17ème siècle, l'autre, récente,et de grande qualité, conserve le même style. De nombreuses chambres, pourvues d'une large terrasse abritée, donnent sur un très grand patio isolé des bruits de la rue.

This was the Provincial Hospice of Oviedo (1752), now a very pleasant and elegant hotel. Very convenient to the center of Oviedo (which seems like a nice and prosperous town). Our room was large and comfortable. Hotel has its own parking (which was usable, for a change). Excellent breakfast buffet. Staff was friendly and helpful. Internet connection was good. I would definitely stay here again.

This is an amazing hotel. Delightful room, easy parking. Very helpful front desk. The evening meal in the restaurant was average and very expensive. Breakfast on the other hand was great. Good selection to suit everyone. Close to the old town. Overall the best hotel on our trip so far. Would definitely stay there again

Beautiful property right in the heart of Oviedo. The staff were especially helpful and kind. The parking was very easy and access excellent. We drive a large car and found the access the best of any hotel in a Spanish city. We must mention Christina in the restaurant who made our evening delightful.

A lovely historic building with a great open lounge area. The weather wasn't great otherwise the outside area looks like it could also provide a fab alternative for food and drinks. Also an excellent location with only 10min walk to the old town plus the bonus of having adequate underground parking.

This is a superb hotel, a true 5 star hotel with one of the most majestic lobby we ever seen. Parking is very convenient even though at extra price. We were treated very nice by the whole staff and would not consider another hotel while in Oviedo.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful with a very interesting history. The entrance is elegant and it feels both grand and classy. The staff are courteous, professional and friendly, they always make you feel welcome. The room is very spacious, the closets are well designed with plenty of space for longer stays. The room was clean; however, the only thing is that the rug needs a heavy cleaning. The hotel is located in a safe neighborhood, walkable to stores, restaurants and other interesting places. I will definitely recommend this hotel to family & friends. We will be back.

Excelente Staff, hermosa estructura del edificio, super bien ubicada, no necesitas auto para desplazarte por la ciudad, lo único que necesita mejorar es los detalles en las paredes de las habitaciones, los techos en algunos lugares estan un poco deteriorados, aunque aun asi la limpieza y pulcritud estuvieron siempre presentes.

The property is old, the air conditioners don't work, the ceiling is falling and damp. We spoke to the reception staff and they didn't give any importance to our concern. I don't recommend it.

We booked this hotel last minute due to flight cancellations and were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The staff were very nice and accommodating given our late arrival. The hotel is beautifully decorated, it felt like we were in a palace. Our room was big and location of the hotel is great. Con: the air conditioning didn't seem to work and it got toasty at night.

IVery well located historic building. Good service. Buffet breakfast was okay, not great. . Bathroom was unacceptable. Bathtub shower was impossible with all the water getting out and no place for toiletries. I would not return for the inconvenience of the bathroom.

L'hôtel est somptueux et le personnel très accueillant mais il est à déplorer que la politique de l'hôtel privilégie les événements extérieurs au confort et à la tranquillité des clients de l'hôtel. L'hôtel a été privatisé pour un mariage ce qui nous a empêché de profiter de la terrasse privative de la chambre pendant tout l'après midi, du aux 110 convives qui festoyaient au pied de la terrasse. donnant sur le cloître.Le soir la musique était tellement forte et les convives bruyants qu'il fut impossible de se reposer dans la chambre avant 1h00 du matin. Situation déplorable et qui dégrade fortement cet hôtel.

we got there November 8 and the temperature in the room was more less normal, the following night the temperature rose to 23 C , it was very warm for us and we weren't able to lower the ac from the room , we went to the front desk to ask and we were told that nothing could be done, that the hotel was at the moment in winter mode and no way to lower the temperature in our room, even though the hotel common areas had ac, besides that they told us to open the door, (we didn't have any windows) and that door opens to a common area as well, so basically sleep outside, because we kept complaining they gave a fan to put in our room and because the fan was short we had to use a table. We know that even with a winter mode and with low temperature outside we have the right to have at least 19 C in our room which is the lowest of winter mode, our stay in there was horrible, we weren't able to sleep at all. I have pictures of the room thermostat and the Fan.
