SpringHill Suites Denver North / Westminster

The hotel advertised a remodeled pool completion date of April. We stayed in June and the pool was not open. We were told we can use the pool at the Hyatt next-door. Housekeeping did not enter our room after the first night after the second night they put towels and took the trash but did not replenish coffee and cups. When I spoke to the desk, I was told that towels and trash is all they give us and we don’t get new cups and coffee in our room regardless of the number of nights we stay. The remodeled rooms are nice, but we will not be staying here again due to being misled and petty policies.

Very noisy, no insulation, toilet randomly running for extended periods, took long time for shower to get warm (wasting water) and a $12 per night parking fee is outrageous for uncovered slots in front of hotel!

Hotel was under construction. No WiFi, no hot water, no tv. Stayed 2 nights and we won’t stay again.

The staff was very friendly and professional. The pool had a strong odor of Chlorine getting my family sick but the staff closed the pool immediately after being notified. You have to pay $12.00 a day on the property.

Why am I always paying full price when I book a hotel with a pool that is not working?? Never know until I’m checking in. Tell us beforehand! Or give me a bloody discount to reflect price.

The pool being out for construction was an issue and having to pay for parking. I already had to paid for a room. Other then that great stay room was really nice.

What I did not like was why we had to pay for parking. I don’t understand why. It was a pretty broken up parking lot and no security so why would you have to pay for it

The pool and quite a bit of the hotel was under construction. One elevator or of service. The breakfast was disappointing with many items that you just had to microwave. Maybe if it was fully operational or could be better.

The Property is under construction. No pool access. The lobby is a small room that is also the breakfast area. Construction noise early in the morning makes sleeping difficult. Dark area at the elevator because of the construction makes it hard to even see the button to call the elevator. The room is nice but has some small issues. And the fire alarm went off while resting in the afternoon.

The property was under construction during my stay. Front lobby was messy and taped-off. Staff were friendly and effective. My room was large, very clean and comfortable. Kitchenette in room is very basic, not equipped with any plates, cutlery or microwave cover for food. Due to construction, the included breakfast was super limited to cold / frozen foods which needs to be microwaved. I think they can do a better job with the offerings during construction. I went out for coffee/tea and breakfast. Area is very close to many plazas with food and shopping options.

For the money I paid, it was a good stay. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and just all around awesome. The rooms were roomy and having a mini fridge was a surprise so that was nice. It just needed to be cleaner. The sheets had stains and there was a bug. I don’t think it was a bed bug since I never got bit, but it was icky. Otherwise, it was a pretty good stay considering.

Clean and nice rooms. But only had 2 towels in a double queen room. So 4 towels would have been better. But overall very nice and clean

The hotel was under renovation which online it only said the pool area. There was no hot breakfast the food they had downstairs was awful the bagels were so hard they wouldn’t even toast. The room was dirty there were dead bugs on the floor. The bathroom had hair and dirt on the floor. We had a room with two beds and a sofa bed the sofa didn’t have a sheet on it. There were no bags in the trash cans. When we turned the sink on the water came out almost white like milk and never cleared so we had to brush our teeth with bottle water. This was an awful stay for a little family vacation. I am highly upset that I paid this much for a hotel that had standards like this.

my room looked renovated, it was clean and comfortable and large. The breakfast was really good. They were doing a bit of construction which made a little bit harder to get to the breakfast area, but I’m sure it’s all gonna be very nice when completely done. Will be back

Hotel is really nice and updated the room could be more cleaner.

The room was one of the worst we’ve stayed in by far. The floor was dirty with stained carpet. Next was the shower that backed up and had mildew with a broken piece of tile sitting in the shower. A general guest men’s bathroom on the bottom floor had a clogged urinal and the entire bathroom smelled like urine. Just completely sub-standard for a hotel of that supposed quality. We will not stay at another SpringHill Suites in the future.

The bathtub was filthy- I turned on the water and the tub had dirt all over. There was construction going on so there was white dust all over in bathroom.

I stayed with my family for three nights. The place was very clean, spacious, and the staff were friendly.

Walls inside the room were filthy. There was only one garbage can, reservations for a family of five and they only gave us three towels. no daily housecleaning and there were ants in the bathroom.

I was not able to connect my streaming devices

We live the spring I’ll suites, however this one was different and we couldn’t connect to our streaming services like we usually do, a little bump in The road.

Great hotel. Would stay again. Only problem was TV didn't reliably work (the cable)

Had to change rooms 3 times because of excessively noisy/inoperable air conditioners. All 3 rooms had a sour foul odor - likely from mildew on air conditioners. Staff was very friendly and accommodated the changes without any issue and apologized for the inconvenience. Parking was available.

Nice quiet comfortable room.

One of our rooms bathtub was in horrible condition (Room 317). The bottom of the tub has multiple rust spots which was surprising for such a new facility. I have pictures

The bed was the most uncomfortable as it was rock hard making it impossible to get any sleep. We had to pay for parking which seemed ridiculous. There was much noise from the room above us and in the hallways. The staff was all very friendly.

Water took five minutes to get hot. Layout of room was terrible Will never stay at a Marriott hotel again they changed for parking and never told me there was a fee. I even asked why they put two hold charges on my card. The person at the desk said they would be credited back. Not the case. One was for parking. That to me is dishonest. This was the first time I’ve stayed at the hotel. Done with Marriott

Staff is rude and is not knowledgeable. I’m an bonvoy member and I asked to have a late check out, but they refused to give me late check out!

Air conditioning in room didn’t work, room never cooled off. Fridge in room never got cold. Hallway had an odor. Ice maker only worked on one of 6 floors. Check-in was at 3 but room wasn’t ready till 5. Staff were unfriendly and hung up during a housekeeping request.

Kelly was amazing! She helped us get checked in quickly and did a great job of fixing an issue with the booking by Hotels.com. She made sure our stay was exceptional! Thank you Kelly!

Very friendly staff!!

We found the hotel and our room fairly clean and comfortable, renovated with updated modern design recently, however, there are a few minuses: We arrived around 6pm on a Sunday evening to checkin.. no one at the reception desk.. waited at least 10 minutes and had to wander around the hotel looking for the desk staff. Not the desk persons fault.. only 1 person working/multi tasking.

We loved the newly remodeled hotel. Everyone was great from Kayla at the front desk when we checked in (very helpful and informative), Francine's smiling face as we had breakfast, and Kelly was also a font of information.

Friendly staff willing to assist you. I never felt like the staff didn't care they have many amenities, with laundry room that's self service. Front desk will sale you a roll of quarter's to guests quarters. Pretty friendly

They overbooked, and turned me away. I was forced to drive to the other side of the city to the hotel THEY chose for me.

The property was adjacent to walking trails. This was nice. Wish the workout room had a stationary bike.

I liked the location of the property. We had a race in Boulder and it was very close.

Last minute booking when my original hotel was unsafe and dirty. Property was under renovations so a little funny. Weirdos hanging out in parking lot made it feel less safe.

We love the walking trails all around the property and also that led to shopping

Quick, efficient and friendly check in! Bathroom felt dirty but rest of room was comfortable. Breakfast was not good. Stick with cereal or oatmeal.

We had some trouble checking in because the reservation couldn't be found. No fault of the hotels, had to message hotels.com (because calling is impossible) and got it figured out. There was construction going on so things were kinda messy but that's to be expected. Pool was closed so we had to use the pool from the hotel nextdoor which was super awkward and honestly the guy at the front desk there seemed kinda surprised that our hotel said we could just use theirs. The room was smaller with lights that were randomly placed and either didn't turn on at all or would have a strobe effect for several minutes before working correctly. only the bottom half of the mini fridge kept things really cold. I did find a bug in the bathroom, some sort of beetle, and after using every towel everyone found several nice long and thick hairs on themselves. I did also find a couple small pieces of dirt and rocks in the bed. We stayed for two nights but room service never came so we ended up having to put out our tiny little trashcan for them to empty for us and it was never returned so we had to just use a random bag. The people next to us were also very loud and arguing, and husband swears he heard power tools from the construction at night Because of the construction they said they lost access to the kitchen so breakfast was mostly dry goods and fruits. I thought they actually did really well here with their limitations, just wish we would have been informed prior to our trip.

There was a distinct smell in the room. I can’t say what it was, but it was different. There was also not any option for vegetarians for hot breakfast.

Breakfast ran out an hour before closing, noisy air conditioning, only one wastebasket, warm water takes forever
