The staff are friendly and very hardworking and the hotel is very clean and rooms comfortable. We found the food tasty and well presented with lots of choice. At busy times there is sometimes a short wait for a table but staff show you to your table and plates are cleared away quickly and set up for the next diners. Never really had to queue for food like you do in alot of inclusive hotels. Bar staff served you quickly so no waiting to get drinks during the day or evening. The pool is clean and although not that big it was never that crowded. Sunbeds are parasols were popular so need to get there early. Would happily stay at the hotel again but didn’t like the resort of Calella that much.

The spa is nice but the water in the jacuzzi could be warmer. Last year our room was in better condition and seemed cleaner than this year but you do get wear and tear. The area feels safe and 5 mins from the beach with loungers/umbrella, there is a train that beeps about every half hour running alongside the beach but not annoying. Also check for festivals/Iron man as it gets very busy and loud on the street just next to the hotel. Fireworks were fab though! Some shops/bars/restaurants nearby and a few things to visit too. All in all a great place to stay!

Le personnel est très serviable et à notre écoute. Les buffets sont variés du petit-déjeuner au dîner. Seuls bémols: piscine beaucoup trop petite pour le nombre de chambres, et coffre fort payant. Heureusement que des transats et parasol sont à disposition pour la plage (mais il faut se lever de bonne heure pour s'inscrire....)

Fantastic hotel just arrived back home after booking 4 nights only last week. Staff are amazing and the all inclusive food and drinks We booked a superior room which was a nice layout and a very light and bright room Only negative was not being able to get a sun lounger as people where reserving them with there towels at 8.30 in the morning. Other than that we enjoyed sitting outside with our drinks

They advertise this as a spa but it’s not. It’s just a private jacuzzi and sauna that doesn’t get hot and you have to pay for it.

The hotel can ‘host’ over 400 guests. It has 26 poolside sun loungers, most of them broken. It has 100 sun loungers on the beach. If you’ve managed to get any sleep on your wooden mattress, you have to set your alarm and join the queues at 7.50 every morning to get a beach sun lounger (tickets dispensed at 8.30) or a pool spot (opens at 9). This is not a way to start a holiday. You can’t even make a tea or coffee in your room to take with you into the queue unless you bring/buy your own kettle, milk, tea /coffee and mugs. Feel like complaining? The staff response is very mixed. Some people actually trying to help, others look at you like you’re the problem. My wife was pregnant during our trip so after not sleeping for a night or two I asked for a refund which seemed to put the manager out. Wouldn’t recommend the food for a pregnant, gluten-free person but for me it was okay. The restaurant area is cramped and loud with bright lights - no ambience at all. This hotel is at best, a tired 3 star hotel. At worst, it’s a daily 30-40minute queue for a sun lounger on a crowded beach where you can’t get your all inclusive drinks, or a longer queue for a broken sun lounger where you can. In the spirit of leaving a balanced review, the shower was good. We left the hotel with 2 nights left in the booking having been offered a refund by Expedia, which they have since reneged on.

The overall experience was below average. The rooms were clean. Some of the reception staff were not very friendly or welcoming. We felt like they did not care, just doing their bare minimum required with grumpy and serious face. Interactions with staff sets a tone on the whole stay. I must mention that the waiting and kitchen staff in general were kind. Another thing, we were disappointed about is the food which wasn't great. Not many healthy options, lots of carbs and meat served was mostly processed and lacked quality. If someone likes seafood then this place is for them I suppose as there were many seafood options. There were not many options for non-seafood eaters like us. There was one instance where the chef from the cooking station served me chicken half cooked, raw inside. I pointed it out to the waitress but there was no action from them. For those unaware raw chicken might seriously poison you. That was off putting and after that we chose not to eat anything prepared at the cooking station. Desserts weren't great either, most of it tasted like it was directly from the supplier, not worth the calories.

Vi tog halvpension men det hade varit värt all inclusive flera gånger om. Calella är väldigt turistigt, så det blir tråkigt efter några dagar om man inte älskar att ligga på stranden eller vid poolen från morgon till kväll. Häng på låset om du vill ha en plats vid poolen. Bra shopping.

When we arrived the staff were lovely, they provided all the relevant information needed. We arrived to our room and we had some door problems however they solved the problem and moved us to another room and assisted us as much as they can. The staff in each department are friendly and the hotel is clean.

La estancia en el complejo ha sido maravillosa. Es la tercera vez que repito. Lo unico que pondría una pega seria que los colchones son un poco incómodos. Por lo demás todo bien

Die Zimmer im 2 Geschoss brauchen unbedingt Renovierung!!!

It was a lovely 4-star hotel, staff were welcoming and the communal areas, reception, bar etc were great. Clean rooms with working air con, comfy bed and balcony. We had a sea view (over/around the other hotels) and it is a 3 minute walk to the beach with free sun loungers for the hotel (get in early). Nice area to walk around, felt safe, and a well-kept promenade for evening strolls. The all inclusive had a variety of food each day alongside the usual salad and chips and varying drinks (just check what is included). It was a really nice place to spend our honeymoon, unfortunately we had to leave early due to a family emergency, which staff were very understanding about, so didn't get to try all the entertainment, spa facilities and see the sights. We will be back soon I hope.

Inte värd pengarna. Endast maten som är ok annars gammalt hotel. Några av personalen i restaurangen var väldigt otrevliga.

le séjour a été tres bien. le personnel parfait et à l'écoute

Pues lamentablemente después de 30 años viajando es la primera vez que me echan de un hotel a las 10 de la mañana. Entro la camarera de pisos de golpe ( estábamos desnudos en la cama con mi pareja) Gritando que eran las 10 y cuarto y que teníamos que dejar la habitación. El desayuno es de 7 a 10 ósea que después de desayunar ya no tienes habitación. Teníamos hora de 10 a 11 en el spa ósea que después del spa no tienes habitacion o sea pagas un habitacion para cambiarte en un vestuario de gimnasio. Resumiendo me parece una estupidez recortar el horario de mañana en un sitio donde el 90 % de la gente está de vacaciones y lo quieren es dormir o descansar y no que los echen a las diez.

Very good value for money, having stayed on a half board basis. Everything was fine, including good wifi connections throughout the hotel, not just in reception areas, as in some other hotels. Great location too within Calella Highly recommended

Calella est un belle ville. J'ai apprécié votre hôtel très calme, car pas d'enfants. Bien situé car très proche de la plage et des commerces. Notre chambre était très confortable. Nous avons apprécié le personnel très sympathique et à l'écoute de toutes nos demandes. Concernant la nourriture, nous avons apprécié la diversité des plats et la présentation dans de petits récipients qui évite le gâchis alimentaire. Peut-être un petit reproche car j'aurais aimé du boeuf et de l'agneau comme viande. J'adore mangé des steaks saignants. Après je comprends aussi le prix élevé par rapport au porc et au poulet. En résumé j'ai apprécié notre séjour dans votre hôtel et je le recommande fortement.

Det var et veranda vindu håndtak de ikke klarte å reparere og buffet maten var ikke nok varm.Ellers var det veldig bra

On a voulu une carafe d eau pour un médicament direct réponse assez agressive si vous prenez rien c est 2 euros Alors que l on avait l intentions de prendre des bières. Tarif pas très élevé pour la bière Mais trop basée sur leur % des boissons vendu
