The dining room manager was clearly very stressed and was quite abrupt because they had been having issues in the kitchen and the main coffee machine wasn’t working. The food was nice but shared yoghurt and jams are not great when some guests put the wrong spoons in the wrong jars/dishes. Individual pots of preserve and yoghurts would be better. There weren’t any tongs to pick up the pastries and Some guests were picking them up with their hands and putting them back. Also a lot of the chairs and tables in the dining room weren’t clean with food residues left behind! Also the pool and hot tub weren’t working and the fixtures and fittings looked tired and some were broken, I.e., locker doors, handle on steam room and lights. We have been given a complimentary voucher for a revisit to the Spa but I don’t live in the area, so I will have to pass this onto family who in the area. This was booked for me as a birthday treat!!

Everything in hotel room and lobbies and what you would expect from a 4 Star hotel however the leisure centre is very poor everything you look at can do with a deep clean drains in showers smelling doors hanging of locker's. New lights have been fitted where old one's obviously were not even filled the old holls or bothered to paint the old outline I would have done a better job in my garage so the star ratting doesn't reflect the pool or changing facilities. It's a shame because when last revamped was obviously very good job it's just not been maintained. A good powerwash of all loungers and fixtures and fittings would go a long way.

Food could. be better, or lower the price to fit the quality. room was nice, but the pull out bed for the kids was awful. The pool was lovely and warm, but there was no room due to swimming lanes and swimming lessons. also the hot tub looks like its been out of action for years

This is a great hotel in an ideal location for onward travel to France via Eurostar or Le Shuttle. The check-in was fast, friendly and efficient. The staff were all very helpful and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. There was plenty of parking too.

The public areas such as the lobby was very clean, modern and welcoming. Gym was great for a hotel gym I was very impressed. Spa facilities were okay just abit cramped. Everywhere in the hotel was new apart from the rooms and corridors which were abit dated and felt abit old & dusty. However bed was very comfy.

The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was lovely and clean. The pool and spa were very clean and well run with pleasant, friendly staff. Overall a brilliant stay. This was our second stay. It is conveniently located for driving to the nearby shopping outlet. The room tariff is also very reasonable.

Blood stained sheets on one bed, brown stains on the other. Dirty shower curtain, dirty net curtains. No kettle in the room. Broken second bed that was on an angle. Breakfast was akin to a rugby scrum. Asked to speak to a manager to discuss above in person, know one was avaliable to speak to me, I was promised a call back that day... No call back. Awful... Never again!

The reception and the communal areas are modern and bright and the restaurant was the same. Sadly the room was not pleasant, we only stayed for 1 night be for our channel tunnel crossing and that was more than enough. Our room was tired and desperate for a refurb, scuffed walls, stained carpet and old dirt around the windows and on the skirting. Our fridge must not have been checked as the people before must have had ice cream or a milk shake and it was all over the fridge making it unusable to us. The bathroom was modern and a great shower. We did eat in the hotel, at the bar and the food was good with great service. The hotel is dog friendly but we weren’t allowed in the restaurant, however, for breakfast they were happy for us to eat in the communal area which worked really well. The staff at the hotel are happy to help.

We are regulars since 2017 and this was our worse experience. Some of the towels were dirty. The cosmetics not enough for one person. No handwash. During the breakfast- dirty tables, when tried to make of coffee some of the coffee cups were dirty- lipstick marks. Compared with previous years - quite poor.

Good and bad experience. The good, the restaurant food and staff were fantastic, shout out to them for a great all round great job. The bad, the room. Poor soundproofing (could hear my neighbours), broke tiles in the bathroom, unclean toilet, unclean bath, chemical/musty smell in the room. Won’t stay again.

We enjoyed our one night stay at this hotel. Room and hotel were very clean and comfortable. We got there late at night and had to leave early in the morning, so didn't get to use any of their amenities, but breakfast was good (with good options) and room fridge was stocked with beer! Check in and check out were very smooth and quick. A bit on the expensive side. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay again (at a lower rate though!)

They had very reduced staff, rooms were very noisy, they tried to move people but walls were really thin. Some rooms better than others, staff tried their best but very understaffed and electronics issue, you had to rekey your room card every day

Excellent: the only objection is the the room was freezing cold when we arrived, evidently the heating was switched off and it ook hourse to warm up. I understand eco friendly but this is going too far.

I've stayed here before but this is the first time I've stayed out the back (turning right at the top of the stairs), room 251. The room was cold when I got there, the heating didn't work, the heated towel rail didn't work. The shower head wouldn't stay up unless I propped it up against the wall, which caused the water to go over the shower curtain and flood the floor. On the positive side, the bed was comfy and the biscuits were nice, the shower did its job.

Our room was clean and comfortable. Facilities in the Hotel are very good. Swimming pool is a excellent. I did need my ear plugs at night because you can hear families/other guests in adjacent rooms if they are noisy and I am a light sleeper.

Great location for the le shuttle Nice size room, beds not that comfortable but nice & clean Fridge in room is handy Parking was fine as well Good surrounding area for shopping and other dining options too. Would stay again. They do allow dogs which may put some people off, but we didn’t smell any pets in our room!

The hotel and facilities were great, lovely atmosphere within the lobby/ lounge. The room was cold and the climate control didn’t seem to do anything, however there was a portable heater but didn’t seem enough to heat the whole room. Annoying that there’s no power points or USB points near the bed, like most people I charge my phone overnight and like it within reach, not on the other side of the room.

The hotel and facilities were great, lovely atmosphere within the lobby/ lounge. The room was cold and the climate control didn’t seem to do anything, however there was a portable heater but didn’t seem enough to heat the whole room. Bit of miscommunication between reception desk and restaurant. We asked at reception what time Breakfast was open the following morning for the August Bank Holiday Monday as we needs to set off early. We were told 6.30am so planned around that only to be told next morning at the restaurant it was 7.30am which messed up our travel plans.

The hotel itself is lovely, very tidy and elegant feel. Rooms are spacious and beds are very comfy. The only let down would be the overall service. The bar would take over 15mins to make drinks, or completely ignore you. We ordered cocktails that were out of a “pre mix” bottle for £12 and then to make it worse were put into wrong / warm glasses. Food was fine but plates never cleared all evening, no napkins etc.. The toilet broke in our room so had constant water running all evening which was a shame.

I’ve got to say the service was 10/10 and I think it was the assistant manager who went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy and got everything they needed, will definitely be going back

Disappointing stay. Wanted a quick night away to shop and relax and when we arrived went to the bar area to unwind. Every single order required multiple people, conversations, etc. to execute. None of the bar team really knew what they were doing and I'm talking about a G&T and wine! Lots of other customers experienced the same. Eventually retired to the room where the room service menu was tiny but you needn't worry because nobody picked up the phone despite multiple calls over a half hour.

We had a good night's sleep in comfortable beds after a tiring journey. The reception is open 24 hours a day, so it wasn't a problem arriving at 1 am. Julie the receptionist is lovely and went above and beyond to help us.

Nice modern room with great facilities, clean room and very good free refreshments which is a lovely extra. Swimming pool was lovely, quite busy but we really enjoyed spending time relaxing. Very close to Ashford Designer Outlet too so nice location.

We travel to Belgium each year, and have always stayed at either the Premier Inn or Travelodge at Eureka Park, due to the close proximity of places to eat etc. This year we decided to try Ashford Int Hotel & Spa and we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean and spacious, there is a pool, gym and spa, and overall we were very happy with the choice. The only tricky bit was finding it, and finding our way to the motorway the next morning - it's a bit more long winded than staying at Eureka Park - but I think we will choose to stay again next year.

This is a great hotel in an ideal location for onward travel to France via Eurostar or Le Shuttle. The check-in was fast, friendly and efficient. The staff were all very helpful and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. There was plenty of parking too.

It is a nice and comfortable place to stay It would have been convenient if there is a Bus service stop nearby from the Hotel to the Town Centre We do not drive and it was expensive for us to get a taxi from the Hotel to Town Centre or to Ashford International Train station

Great location for the le shuttle Nice size room, beds not that comfortable but nice & clean Fridge in room is handy Parking was fine as well Good surrounding area for shopping and other dining options too. Would stay again. They do allow dogs which may put some people off, but we didn’t smell any pets in our room!

Stopped on a Thursday night en route to the channel tunnel to avoid a mad rush before our crossing on the Friday morning. We have stayed preciously but not for about 10-12 years. Hotel was nice, clean and said everything as listed - dinner in the restaurant was a bit so so, but overall not bad for the price we paid. Would stay here again.

This is the worst hotel I stayed. It needs an urgent refurbishment. 3 of the 4 days I stayed Breakfast was late by 30 minutes and the staff just didn’t care. No refunds could be processed as the booking was through Hotels.com. The food on the evening was terrible. I won’t go anywhere near this place again.

Lovely stay in the heart of Kent. The pool, steam room and sauna added that little bit of extra luxury. The hotel room was very comfortable and clean. We are in the Horizons restaurant and the waitress was very attentive. The food was amazing and service was quick. Cooked breakfast was a bit dry. I would say get up as soon as breakfast starts for a fresh one.

The overall stay was good i would go back again, but the downer for me was the food there wasn't enough choice for us to chose for in the end we went for some boring grill chicken and chips with a bit of old green salad, and the bar service was too slow.

Efficient check in. You have to register your car on the self service kiosks, which is simple enough. The room was larger than expected which made it very comfortable to settle in for the week. Lots of storage spaces as well. One downside in our room was the power plugs were too close to the table top, so we couldn’t plug one of our chargers in, and even the other charger only just fit. Other plugs in the room were too close to the floor. The bathroom was very clean and had good water pressure. Only downside was the toilet flush didn’t have a lot of force and took a number of flushes to get the job done. There’s a staircase between the hotel car park and Sainsbury’s next door which was much appreciated so you don’t have to walk along the dual carriageway. The Sainsbury’s car park also gives you access to a number of other shops and restaurants in walking distance (including a pedestrian bridge to the other side of the motorway).

Had a bit of a problem checking in after a mix-up with someone with the same name who had cancelled their booking and our booking ended up being cancelled. However they sorted it all out on the spot and upgraded our room and gave us drink vouchers and we even got a partial refund. Excellent service considering the confusion, staff were so friendly and helpful sorting it all out for us

Venue has all you need for a great stay and all staff were great. The only negative is that noise from rooms next door is easy to hear, not great if people are noisy. Apart from that we would definitely recommend and go back.

The deluxe room we were given was nice but upon entering there was a strong cigarette smell and we knew if we stayed in there we would come out stinking also we didn't want to be blamed!, so we went back to reception and the lovely lady behind the counter sorted us a new room. The only room they had available was the adapted room which meant instead of a luxury bathroom with a bath we had a plain white wet room, it was quite dusty and the tv was a lot smaller. It wasn't the ladies fault and she did her best, also giving us a drinks voucher but we were quite gutted. They don't do room service but they let us order at the bar and take it back to our room, they were great with my gluten free food and it was all nice except the pizza, it was a bit of a weird one with barely any cheese. The swimming pool was nice, although all the showers surrounding the pool ran cold, the sauna and steam room were fine but the jacuzzi was very small and wasn't powerful. The breakfast was ok, not great quality meat and ants over cereal but I was happy with the gluten free options. All the staff we encountered were really nice, helpful and approachable but because of the facilities, cleanliness and food I wouldn't stay here again.
