Beautiful setting for a business trip! First night was a little concerned with the kids running up and down the hall but eventually they went to bed. The hotel was clean and the gym met my needs. Loved the cafe for morning coffee. Staff friendly and attentive.

The staff at the front desk was excellent, professional, and willing to accommodate our needs. However, we had to wait 30 minutes to 1 hour to get our lake view. When the front desk person informed us, she was very apologetic and informed us that they were fully booked and were a little behind. We went to the bar, had an OK lunch with drinks. Wanted to hang out at the pool, but it was overcrowded. Later on, we found out they sell day passes to the pool, which makes the guests not enjoy it because it is so crowded—we got to hang out at the pool the next day, only by heading down at 8 am and separating our lawn chairs. The Jacuzzi and pool were dirty from the day before. Had to have the front desk clean the jacuzzi so we could get in. An hour later, they showed up to clean. When leaving, I was looking for a sandal under the bed and found dirty socks from the prior guest. Overall, we would not stay there again.

Excellent property with ambience. Food was great, nice cocktails and Diego was beyond great at service, but his emotional intelligence should be recognized by this management and used to his potential. Pool was great and usually active with great music. Beautiful walking to food, sunset cruises at the dock and free outdoor concerts in the summer.

ELEVATOR WAS OUT OF SERVICE THE WHOLE WEEKEND, ROOM SERVICE WAS NADA. IF YOU LIKE TO CLIMB STAIRS, THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO CLIMB. WOULD NOT COMP ROOM DUE TO BEING PURCHASED THRU EXPEDIA. THEY DID HOWEVER COMP ROOMS FOR THOSE WHO DID NOT GO THRU 3RD PARTY

This Hilton is a beautiful property! Its located right on the Rockwall harbor, surrounded by restaurants and a theater. This would be a 5 star property except for one thing. They have a gated parking lot that is not convenient. You have to scan with your phone and set up as you are entering the lot. If you have an older phone, forgot your phone or are not tech savvy, you're out of luck. You will sit there and hold up traffic. If you need to run errands and go in/out, you will be frustrated with their lot. The whole parking system is less than stellar for a 5 star property. Oh, and I forgot to mention its $15 a day. If you choose to valet its $28 plus tips.

I paid more than $250 a night and they charged me $40 in parking. And this hotel was not in the city. It was in a remote location there was acres of parking all around the hotel!!

My husband and I wanted to get away for a couple of days from the monotony of our daily routines. Upon arriving at the Hilton, the hotel is beautiful from the outside. The scenery is beautiful as well as when you enter the hotel. It is very beautiful in the lobby, bar, & the restaurant and quite polished throughout. however, my problem was actually when I entered the shower and there was soap scum from the previous guest and it totally grossed me out. I did make that known to, I believe her name is Amaya and Makenna and they asked me what they thought should be done. I felt that was something that should’ve figure out. I requested they send someone to clean it before we returned back to the room. That did have housekeeping come up and clean the room and the bathroom again. Cleanliness is imperative and that right there is a no for me. I do not like that. It just brought me back to Covid and showering with someone else’s bodily fluids was very mentally disturbing, but that was truly the only issue that I had besides, you know as much as we pay to to be there over the weekend some of the amenities that they have are worn, the walls in the bathroom are patched with different shades of white. The molding is coming up from the floor and from the shower, I mean for it to be such a beautiful hotel they do need some upgrades.

Location is everything for this hotel! Views are stunning and is 100% walkable. We parked the truck and did not drive all weekend. We walked to breakfast, lunch, dinner, sunset cruise, and the movies! Definitely recommend Huckabee Coffee and a sunset cruise with DFW Boat Cruises. All the main areas of the hotel are stunning. The elevators were always dirty and stunk. The workout room smelled better than the elevators! The rooms were okay but in our room there were horrible wallpaper seams that were peeling, mismatched art and furniture pulls and the bathrooms were by far the worst part. Shower was dirty and you couldn’t even get in the shower without opening the main door all the way to get in, then shutting it to open the shower door. The shower doors were extremely hard to open and the grout lines were brown and dirty. Also gave a four star for eco friendliness as there were no refillable water stations, only plastic water bottles. Rookie move on our part to assume that the paid or valet parking were the only options. There is free parking adjacent to the hotel so save that money! Overall, great location and will definitely stay again!

Upon arriving at the hotel we were greeted by several staff members. Everyone was friendly. Quick check in. Lobby and amenities are great. Nice bar and pool area. We did have a few issues. The rooms and hallways are in need of a remodel. We’ve stayed at several Hilton hotels and this one is by far the worst. We’ve never had a negative thing to say until staying at this location. The carpet in the hallways was heavily stained. The hallways smelled of poo and cigarette smoke. The trash cans by the elevators were overflowing and chicken strips were scattered across the floor. Guests were leaving food out by the doors to their rooms. It would sit there for several hours. The rooms and hallways are in need of a remodel. Several areas where paint was peeling. The trash cans in the rooms weren’t emptied prior to our stay. This is a pet friendly hotel so be prepared for a wet dog smell in certain areas. On our second night we were out at the hot tub with some friends for a few hours having drinks from the hotel’s bar. One of the employees came out and said “you do know that this area closes at 10 right ?” We knew but had lost track of time. We hadn’t seen these friends in Several years. The employee told us that we needed to leave. He was obviously having a rough day. The bed was comfortable and the a/c worked better than any other hotel we’ve stayed in.

Service was good but the room conditions were bad.. the first room I was in had ants no hot water and no water pressure.i was moved to a different room still had no water pressure and both the tub and the shower was leaking also elevator would not come up to the 5th floor unless you called someone from the front desk and ask to send it up.The pool needed cleaning..this hotel was a resort definitely bid not feel like one.

This was a beautiful hotel with professional, friendly, helpful staff. The pool was clean and great for relaxing and enjoying a hot summer day. The beds were very comfortable in the rooms, and the whole property is very well kept. It was a great stay!

This place is a hidden gem. We stayed here when visiting for the Texas state fair and also seeing PBR at the stockyards. Yes it’s a drive from both of those but the surrounding area, views, comfort and value of the hotel beat the socks off anything else in an hour radius of the state fair. It’s an older hotel but well maintained. The pool and lounge beds were great.
This place is a hidden gem. We stayed here when visiting for the Texas state fair and also seeing PBR at the stockyards. Yes it’s a drive from both of those but the surrounding area, views, comfort and value of the hotel beat the socks off anything else in an hour radius of the state fair. We had an amazing room with a spectacular view of the lake. The terraced Rooms give best view of the sunsets. We enjoyed the harbor area for dining and drinks and walked to the docks for a lake cruise. Very Nice. Pool was great too.

The property itself is beautiful and the staff is friendly and helpful. But the rooms are ran down and not updated. The parking is very inconvenient due to having to scan a barcode when entering and leaving. The front staff was not helpful with the parking situation and is $15 a night. There should be an easier way if the Hilton wishes to charge for parking. Also there are no microwaves in the rooms. We had to call and request one be sent up. Our balcony door was broken and the bathroom was very ran down. If you’re looking for convenience within walking distance and a lake view the hotel is ok. Otherwise if clean, updated rooms and house keeping are important I would choose somewhere else.

Room was clean but for the price, nothing special at all. TV turned on but all the channels said loading data but never did. Wasn't going to pay more for other options. No breakfast I used for the price. Have a restaurant but have to buy off a menu, no buffet. Was OK but not worth the price. Pillows were good but my back was killing me in the morning!

If you want to have a restful night this is not the hotel for you. There is noise everywhere and you can hear conversations of all people in the corridors, not to mention other things that happen in the rooms…it’s very bad. Customer service is excellent in all the hotel facilities.

The shower had very low pressure, we had to hold the toilet handle for it to flush, a light in the bathroom kept flashing on and off and the shower doors were hard to open and close for my wife. Also there was no free coffee in the morning. One elevator wasn’t working and on the fourth floor, the elevator button hardly worked.

Our stay at the Hilton Rockwall was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless and welcoming. A special shoutout to Amaya, who went above and beyond with her exceptional service and genuine courtesy. She was incredibly helpful and made us feel valued and taken care of throughout our visit. It’s rare to come across someone who truly elevates the experience like she did. The hotel itself was beautiful, clean, and comfortable—everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The overall experience was disappointing for a Hilton hotel. After going to dinner nearby, we placed some leftovers in the room refrigerator for a light lunch the next day; only to find it - and drinks we had stocked - all frozen solid and ruined. We ordered room service for breakfast the next day. After it was delivered, we discovered it had come with no silverware. Ran down to the front desk, got silverware; and came back to the room to find that the wrong breakfast had been delivered. Went to call room service, but the room phone wasn’t working. Went back to the front desk to report the problem with breakfast. The girl at the front desk said she’d take care of it and left to go into a back room. She did not return. Went back to my room; waiting for someone to come by. An hour later, I gave up and went to Chic fil A. The coffee maker did not work. Went downstairs and paid for Starbucks. No creamer. Asked the barista for creamer. She hands me a quart of Great Value half and half that had expired a week ago. Any one of these experiences in isolation would have been shrugged off - but the end to end experience shows a lack of attention to detail and customer service that I expect from Hilton.

The staff at the front desk was excellent, professional, and willing to accommodate our needs. However, we had to wait 30 minutes to 1 hour to get our lake view. When the front desk person informed us, she was very apologetic and informed us that they were fully booked and were a little behind. We went to the bar, had an OK lunch with drinks. Wanted to hang out at the pool, but it was overcrowded. Later on, we found out they sell day passes to the pool, which makes the guests not enjoy it because it is so crowded—we got to hang out at the pool the next day, only by heading down at 8 am and separating our lawn chairs. The Jacuzzi and pool were dirty from the day before. Had to have the front desk clean the jacuzzi so we could get in. An hour later, they showed up to clean. When leaving, I was looking for a sandal under the bed and found dirty socks from the prior guest. Overall, we would not stay there again.

The Hotel is nice but the front desk staff are not too friendly. They didn’t even told anything about the area and the lady was not in her best hospitality . We pre- paid breakfast and they still charged us at the Restaurant for breakfast. We asked for the refund and we haven’t received anything. We are not coming back .

The hotel is beautiful but the housekeeping is lacking. I booked for two nights and they only provided two towels and stayed we could get more if we contacted housekeeping. No one will answer phone. I accidentally left hanging clothes in the closet. I contacted the hotel to ask if they could hold them. The front desk stated that they would check with housekeeping and contact me. After 8 hours, no response. I call several times and was finally able to contact the front desk. I asked them again if they were able to retrieve my clothes. They contacted housekeeping and reported back that they weren’t there. It is amazing that I left them and contacted them as soon as I was aware of leaving them. I questioned the desk. No apologies, no concern, just an “oh, well!” It makes you wonder why the hotel doesn’t provide daily housekeeping? Possibly because things magically disappear?

Beautiful property however, we had to change room because the first one smelled like cat piss and then we only had one garbage can that was located in the bathroom. Housekeeping only gave us one coffee cup and when we brought a beverage back to our room they would not take it from the room. They finally after I complained put it in the hallway outside of our room next to our door instead of taking it. While at the bar we witnessed several people walk out because the bartender wouldn't take their order.

Location is everything for this hotel! Views are stunning and is 100% walkable. We parked the truck and did not drive all weekend. We walked to breakfast, lunch, dinner, sunset cruise, and the movies! Definitely recommend Huckabee Coffee and a sunset cruise with DFW Boat Cruises. All the main areas of the hotel are stunning. The elevators were always dirty and stunk. The workout room smelled better than the elevators! The rooms were okay but in our room there were horrible wallpaper seams that were peeling, mismatched art and furniture pulls and the bathrooms were by far the worst part. Shower was dirty and you couldn’t even get in the shower without opening the main door all the way to get in, then shutting it to open the shower door. The shower doors were extremely hard to open and the grout lines were brown and dirty. Also gave a four star for eco friendliness as there were no refillable water stations, only plastic water bottles. Rookie move on our part to assume that the paid or valet parking were the only options. There is other parking adjacent to the hotel so save that money! Overall, great location and will definitely stay again!

Stayed for a long weekend. Everyone we encountered there was very sweet and courteous. They went out of their way to make our stay more comfortable. The view and grounds were beautiful! Would highly recommend this hotel.

Loved this hotel and would definitely stay here again. Great dining options, well appointed room, with soft sheets and a pillow I considered stealing. Pretty property, easy self parking, dining on site, pool overlooking lake. Would recommend.

Went for a girls trip. The location is key. You can walk to everything. The pool was pretty cloudy and had vonitung in it from the day before. The staff was okay. Front desk I was NOT a fan at check or out. I coukdnt get anyone on the phone fron the front desk. The pool bar staff were AMAZING!

Have stayed many times over the years. Location if not sole, then primary plus, and staff are generally very nice. Amenities are limited at premium cost. Food and drinks are okay but prices difficult to swallow! Then there are irritants: RS menu NEVER matches available menu! Huge parking lot free for years, now a new cash cow, evidently. Few bellhops or luggage carts, so odds are you will lug your stuff. Pool loungers VERY uncomfortable after an hour or so, major sun but few umbrellas, 3 cabanas take up vast amount of pool area for merely $600 a day! In essence, value once prized has dwindled greatly. Staff is generally very nice, and I've personally dealt with all but the latest GM and they were supremely gracious. Did not contact current one. Truth is, we've enjoyed staying there, found trade-offs worth it. But SO many regulars have reached their limits and simply will not return. We openly wonder if/when we'll reach the same decision. It's about value, and it's increasingly in doubt.

Excellent property with ambience. Food was great, nice cocktails and Diego was beyond great at service, but his emotional intelligence should be recognized by this management and used to his potential. Pool was great and usually active with great music. Beautiful walking to food, sunset cruises at the dock and free outdoor concerts in the summer.

Great stay, only opportunity was the eggs benedict I did not care for the sauce it did not taste right. everything else was awesome

It was our wedding anniversary staycation, it was quiet and lovely, the view of the pool over looking the lake from our window was romantic. The hotel is quite sophisticated, Professional staff. Breakfast 5 star quality and tasty. Overall experience is satisfactory. Would like to come back with the kids.

My husband and I were celebrating our 20-year anniversary and wanted a staycation near our home. The Rockwall/Lakefront area is a nice area, and I fell in love with it the first time I visited due to the water; they have live music occasionally, many places to eat, etc. We decided to book this hotel for two days and paid extra for a lakefront view. Sadly, we didn’t enjoy our stay here. I’ll start with the positives: the check-in was a breeze. When we got to our room, we could view the lake, but the view was obstructed by a gazebo or something that was attached to the building. The room was not worth paying $100 extra for. Then when I inspected the room, it had not been thoroughly cleaned. The bathroom was dirty. You also get charged for everything: WiFi, parking, and breakfast. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.
