What i love about studio 6 baymeadows its very clean comfortable affordable. And the staff is very wonderful and welcoming . Everyone is very nice . The pool the washer and dryers . Its home away from home .

I paid for a king bed which I did not get . The pillows cases were burned . There also was an ash tray in our no smoking room that smelled of smoke . The toilet and shower , and counters and fridge was dirty . Piss was all around the toilet and dried up poop in the toilet . Hair and bars of soap were still in the shower . I had to purchase cleaning supplies. The room had flies . The workers didn’t speak English to offer assistance of any kind . The pool was filthy .

Check in was at 3pm we didnt arrive until almost 4pm and our room wasn't ready and they didn’t know when it would be ready. No biggie we went out to dinner and it was ready when we got back. Big surprise the room was clean and newly remodeled. Toilet was clogged from previous customers. There was a plunger and so after 30 minutes my husband was able to get it to flush properly. We got a kitchenette because we were staying 3 nights and didnt want to eat out all the time, but ended up eating out because there were no supplies for the kitchenette. There was no tv remote or at least we couldnt find it. Out of the 3 nights we stayed 2 out of the 3 we had to deal with the people that live there full-time fighting in the stairwell in the middle of the night. They should definitely separate the monthly renters from the nightly renters. They have 2 buildings so that shouldn't be that hard to do.

Room smelled, door wouldn’t lock properly, air didn’t work the entire time nor did tv. The pool was disgusting and the upkeep of the property was filthy. Manager was hostile and very rude.

The Pool is refreshing and my children really enjoy being here. They have made friends, it's a reasonable price and they allow animals without some outrageous pet fees like Extended stay of America. Overall it isn't horrible.

Do not stay here. The place is crawling with german roaches. It's disgustingly dirty, the floor is sticky and covered in grime. There's soap scum and dirt in the tub, the sink was blocked with hair. We booked for 2 nights and left after 1. Never have we stayed at such a disgusting hotel.

The property was dirty. There was mold or mildew in the bathroom, no towels were in the room, they couldn’t find a remote to work for the tv, there were stains on the floor. There was only 1 staff member who was nice and seemed to care everyone else seemed annoyed to be there and didn’t care if you had concerns.

This stay was one of my worst and I've stayed a lot of places. Upon arrival, I had to ask for a blanket because the bed didn't have one. For my whole stay here, I didn't have a TV and I went to the front desk multiple times to try and get this resolved. Only one light in the room worked. The front desk service was alright but other than that it was terrible.

Room was lacking several items, had to request from front. Generally badly used rooms BUT clean and no bugs. Staff was helpful as needed. Internet never worked consistently during the whole stay, had to use my own phone for data.

Looks like this was once a nice studio type hotel/motel. However, the conditions have gone down hill. When I checked in the first room, there was no towel of any kind. And the kitchen sin was disgusting, obviously not cleaned. There were food pieces on the top of the fridge as well. I could tolerate these, but I had to ask to change the room after finding out the toilet flashed but did not really drain. The second room was ok, but the door did not close all the way. It did lock, and people at the hotel assured that it'd be ok, and it was ok, but still it really needs to be fixed. Since the towels were removed from the room moved in, I had to bring these towels to where they were. There was one hand towel that was left, and there were pieces of hair. Around the faucet, there was scum, indicating regular cleaning is not that stringent. The rubber/plastic ends of the support for the bath tub were absolutely disgusting. I walked bare foot on the floor several steps and washed, the washing water was grey. The floor has obviously not been cleaned for some time. Overall, the regular maintenance did not seem adequate.

The room looked nice inside and I liked that it had a little kitchenette, but the sink leaked on the floor every time we used it and the bed was very uncomfortable. We only needed to stay one night, so it wasn't the end of the world, but I would not go again.

Almost no lighting in the room floors were dirty sheets did not fit the bed properly. The kitchen area was disgusting limited amount of towels, furniture, broken or damaged. Yes it was cheap but not worth the price.

Had to pay to use the water, we reserved a double queen room, the manager told us there were no more available although I reserved the room nearly a month a head of time then charged us an extra 6.00 to downsize. The flooring was coming up and we were tripping on it, there was half a roll of cheap toilet paper and no spare, there was a huge hole in the ceiling over the toilet, the tv was broken, the door jam was broken, and there were roaches. People lived there and were loud and obnoxious so night and it was a Tuesday night. Absolutely the worst place ever ever stayed.

I paid for a week and was forced off of the hotel property for placing a small bag of trash outside my door to dispose of at the dumpster (yes, you have to dispose of your own trash and wash your own linens and towels while paying for a week. There is also no housekeeping service so you have to clean your own room.) I was escorted from the property at 10 pm at night and the property manager refused to refund my money for the remaining 4 days I had already paid for. DO NOT STAY AT STUDIO 6, ESPECIALLY THE BAYMEADOWS ROAD, JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA PROPERTY.

I reserved my room online days before the check in date and paid in full. When i arrived they said they were booked and did not have any rooms available. We went to go check in and the front desk clerk was not even there took a five minutes to show up and then when he got there. He told us there were no rooms available.That was basically, it didn't try to help us in any other way

I don’t blame this on the property although I think it’s strange, I blame Expedia. For allowing me to make a reservation at a hotel saying I was going to check in at midnight and when I arrive I find that the motel lobby closes at 11. No Night window you need to check in before 11. So Expedia allowed me to make the reservation and show up at this hotel. No one‘s there. It’s 1 AM at this point I’m exhausted and I just go book another room across the street. Get in touch with Expedia and they tell me that it’s going to be up to the owner on whether or not I get a refund. For a reservation booked through Expedia for a time I specified and they said was fine. Now they’re blaming me for not reading the small print on the website. It is very odd to close a lobby. Not anybody out there can say that they look for that when booking a hotel room through a third-party Platform you find the room you want and you make the reservation

I resorted to this place because my first choice didn't work out and I was in a hurry. Overall, it was a disappointment. The breezeways and stairs smelled like urine and the clientele looked sketchy. The room itself was not bad but I did see roaches. There is a girl named Moe in the front office who was very nice and helpful but another named Sevilla who just couldn't be bothered. I would only stay at this place again if I absolutely had to.

I stayed at wonderful places like The Grand Hyatt and The Plaza in NYC. This trip, those types of places were not in my budget. Within my modest budget, this trip.This was a great option. The people were nice. There weren't rooms for clean and even downstairs for me.It wasn't noisy. Maybe the only thing that was an issue as the parking was a bit tight. If I need to be in that area again and my budget is similar.I would highly recommend it. Location is fabulous.

Check in was at 3pm we didnt arrive until almost 4pm and our room wasn't ready and they didn’t know when it would be ready. No biggie we went out to dinner and it was ready when we got back. Big surprise the room was clean and newly remodeled. Toilet was clogged from previous customers. There was a plunger and so after 30 minutes my husband was able to get it to flush properly. We got a kitchenette because we were staying 3 nights and didnt want to eat out all the time, but ended up eating out because there were no supplies for the kitchenette. There was no tv remote or at least we couldnt find it. Out of the 3 nights we stayed 2 out of the 3 we had to deal with the people that live there full-time fighting in the stairwell in the middle of the night. They should definitely separate the monthly renters from the nightly renters. They have 2 buildings so that shouldn't be that hard to do.

No WiFi , room smelled of cat urine . Hot water was not available at 9am for a shower. No one on site after 9pm in case you couldn’t get into your room. Hand mopped the floors with a towel as the floor was sticky. I think people Live there full time. It was cheap but next time I’ll spend 20$ more and at least have an actual glass in the room. If you want a cheap night this is it .. you want something a little nicer , look elsewhere .

My stay has been a very nice one the amenities such as the pool are very welcomed especially on this hot summer. The rooms are always very clean and the staff very attentive to our needs. I recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to get away and enjoy themselves
