Very nice hotel! Comfortable rooms that are very clean. The breakfast buffet and dinner buffet were excellent and well worth the add on fee. The onsen is nice but a bit small and they should leave the onsen open till 10 am in the morning so you can get breaky they take a last soak before 11 am checkout. Stayed in summer so the rates were very reasonable. They had construction going but the improved rooms were fantastic. There is a ski field right next door and you can ski right up to the hotel and they have ski lockers. If I skied I’d stay there. It is out of the way so you need a car, there is a bus but I highly suggest wheels. Overall very happy with my three nights there fishing the local rivers.

Very nice hotel with great staff that helped us book a reservation at a restaurant in a nearby town. The room was very large and very clean. I would have given 5/5 stars; however, the dinner buffet was not the best, given the expensive price.
