The Travelers Inn is a great location, close to Brunswick, Maine and not far from Portland. It was reasonably priced and the room was clean and quiet. Check in/out was easy peasy. Parking safe and directly in front of your room. If you want a fun diner experience for breakfast, there’s the little Brunswick diner right across the street with great breakfasts.

Old school motel with a fairly modern re-do. For the money it is a great option. Not a lot of whistles and bells and is on the commercial strip of Brunswick, but for basic accommodations ....well worth the money. I will go back when doing my biz in the area

Probably the cleanest hotel I've seen; the bathroom is absolutely pristine. Hotel manager was patient and made sure I had directions late at night. Then, he was gracious enough to adjust my booking for a ground floor room. On top of all that, I was able to run a load of laundry at their on-site facility. Excellent.

This is a well-maintained older motel. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. We enjoyed walking to and dining at Pat's Pizza. Complimentary continental breakfast in morning was good. There were a couple of cons. There was a lot of rain in the area and when we turned on heat in the bathroom, a few ants decided to come out and roam around. Shower water pressure was also low in the morning. We would stay at the motel again despite these cons.

Solo trip. Even though this is an older hotel, it has been very well maintained. Rooms are immaculately Clean, no odor, no pet hair, & no bugs. Quaint town, Hotel off a main road in town, so nice to avoid Highway noise. Good, Safe location. Friendly Staff. Rooms have good working A/C, but you can open a transom window for fresh Maine air too. Nice to have a Bathtub. Bed was just right --not too soft or hard. Pillows were a bit thick for me, but worked well with propped up in bed or side sleeping. (I always bring my own pillow anyway). Nice to have a Full-sized Ironing board, desk area, microwave, mini-fridge, and suitcase holder. Shell Gas, McDonald's & a donut shop are very close by; "104 Public House" bar/Diner & "Brunswick Diner" are a quick drive. I miss not having a nice protein breakfast, but you're not paying for it in the price and Breakfast options aren’t far

Absolutely love how clean this place is! Not a single spot of mold or fungus in the showers, bathroom, or the fridge! Sheets and bed are clean, and the staff were very accommodating for our late arrival! Breakfast is complementary and has a lot of stuff, ranging from muffins, bagels, buns, orange juice, cereal, yogurt, fruits, the works! Great job!

Great place for the price. Always super clean. The TV works well and has many stations. Wi-Fi is a little sketchy. Breakfast is basic, but there are several options very close by such as Duncan donuts and McDonald's.

The bed was horrible for me. I have back issues and prefer a pillow top mattress which this was not. Parking convenient right in frount of room. (Mobility issues request ground level) People are mindless, and when they leave at 6am they are loudly talking while packing their cars for their departure right outside your window slamming their room and car doors waking later departures up, so that was unpleasant. They had no clue that

A nice motel well situated near the highway and with nearby gas stations and donut shops. The manager was very personable. The room was good; clean and comfortable. The big drawback was that the internet connectivity was spotty and the speed very slow and I was unable to pull up many web sites that I needed.

Very nice little motel. You could park in front of your room. It was close to 295 and had several restaurants w/in walking distance The staff is mainly family. I had a problem with my door lock, but they took care of it quickly The only negatives was that the mattress was as hard as marble. They need to be replaced. Also, if the hotel is full, which it was my first night there, the WiFi network will get overwhelmed and crash. Need to upgrade the network

Everything was fine. Best of all: We called from Boston when we missed our train...and had to take the Very Late one at 10:30 pm, arriving at 1:45 am...and that train was delayed. We didn't get in until nearly 2:30. The clerk arranged for us to have a room...and access to a key when we finally arrived. It saved us from disaster!

The room was fairly clean. The breakfast was definitely adequate. The service was lacking. They didn’t clean the room two different days. The heat was a problem. It kept it warm in there too warm even when I shut the heat off when we came back to the room, it was 96° in there Had to run the AC. They said that they would correct it instead they just shut the heat system completely down. They did offer to give us a different room, but that would’ve been at 11 o’clock or later at night. I was disappointed in this. I’ve stayed there several times over the years when I come home that is a place that I have the location that I normally stay at for convenience, but I guess I’ll be going to a different motel next time

I was there for 4 days and beds were never made, this should be done daily. Bath room toilets are to small and low to floor, they should be elongated toilets and comfort height. i have stayed here a number of times over the last 15 years but am going to look for another place to stay next year. Their service gets worse each year

Basic accommodations. I liked that I could walk to stores and restaurants from here. My favorite was the sweet angel cafe next door. This was a busy spot. I think it would be a good place for a group of people to rent out a few rooms like for a work trip.

The motel was fine; extremely clean and the continental breakfast was a real plus. However, the motel is located on BUSY Route 1, a major highway. So I would NOT recommend staying there if your planning to hoof it. Although the walk from town was only one mile, crossing one intersection on Pleasant Street in particular, was positively treacherous, as there was no cross walk or light for pedestrians. I ended up taking Uber, no biggie but I had planned to walk.

Very nice stay. Nothing elaborate, but everything we needed. VERY clean, comfortable bed, good a/c, shower, TV, fridge and micro. Easy parking in front of our room. A hidden gem in Brunswick. 2 miles from Bowdoin College.

Great place for the price. Always super clean. The TV works well and has many stations. Wi-Fi is a little sketchy. Breakfast is basic, but there are several options very close by such as Duncan donuts and McDonald's.

I liked: 1) Breakfast, limited but adequate. 2) Room, big enough. 3) TV: good! 4): Pleasant gentleman checked me in. Small annoyances: 1) I loved how quick the hot water came, but it was very hot and the handles for both sink and shower were too sensitive, water went from cold to very hot with little change in the setting. 2) The toilet is just too low, not standard. Each time I went to sit down I plummeted down a few inches, unexpectedly! 3: It took a while to figure out the heating system, what with a big heater on the wall that is supposed to be only for cooling, and a thermostat on the wall for heating that I took a while to find. 4) I suspect warmer and/or more blankets might be needed unless one is expert with the heating system. 5) Busy Pleasant Street hard to exit to town-bound lanes at times. Luckily I know the area and could figure work-arounds. All in all,I really liked the place and would happily visit again!

Absolutely love how clean this place is! Not a single spot of mold or fungus in the showers, bathroom, or the fridge! Sheets and bed are clean, and the staff were very accommodating for our late arrival! Breakfast is complementary and has a lot of stuff, ranging from muffins, bagels, buns, orange juice, cereal, yogurt, fruits, the works! Great job!

I’m glad I had a ground-level room, since I have trouble with stairs. The plumbing was not in good shape in the bathroom. In both the tub/shower and the sink it was very difficult to adjust the water temperature- it was either scalding hot or too cold. In addition, the sink faucet leaked all over the vanity, so everything you put on the vanity got wet. The nail-holes on the bathroom door were there, but the hook was missing. Also, there was no lighting in the closet area, so it was difficult to pack/unpack. Breakfast was good and the staff kept the breakfast area clean and tidy
