Days Inn by Wyndham Concord

Decent and clean for a quick stay. We arrived around 11PM met by a grumpy person. Don't get why the staff would be sleeping in the reception area. Is there no room for the staff? Does the owner value the money they get for a single room more than looking professional?

Stay away from this place. Tv was broken. Outlets don’t work. Hair dryer didn’t work. Handle fell off the closet door in my hand. Staff checked us in under someone else’s reservation them came knocking in our door demanding to see my id so they figure out who we were, after I had already presented my id and credit card at check in and they had charged an incidental hold to my card. We ended up leaving and driving back home. Room smelled weird and bathroom was really dirty. Towels had stains and the matt for the floor by the shower had someone’s footprint stained on it. Staff was lounging on the furniture every them we went into the lobby like it was their family room. All just terrible.

Our stay at the Days Inn Concord was mediocre. The morning of the first night of our stay I tried to call the motel to request a ground floor room, but they could not find my reservation. Upon arrival we made our request, the shift manager groused about it, saying “people book through an app to save $5 will have problems making a request.” While he did accommodate us, I didn’t appreciate his attitude. The bathtub in the room was in bad shape. The porcelain was worn off on the bottom of the tub. It seems people live in some of the rooms and they are loud and the hallway smelled of cigarette smoke. I cannot recommend this motel. There also wasn’t daily housekeeping.

The older couple of the building are sweet. I didnt like that people live there for more than fews

Stayed three days because I was in town visiting family. The Inn was comfortable and the room clean, bed comfortable, nice size tv with capability for streaming services. Mini frig stayed very cold. Microwave in room and coffee maker. The daily breakfast is 7-9am. Standard to go breakfast with eggs, sausage patties, pastry breads, regular bread to toast, fruit and cereal options. Also a mini waffle maker machine with batter to make waffles. Coffee, tea, water and milk were available. The juice machine was out of order. Suggestion: consider buying a gallon of orange juice for customers to utilize during breakfast if the juice machine is not working. Parking was always available and the Inn is quiet. I stayed from Friday -Monday. The Inn is across the street from a shopping center that has a Grocery Outlet, many eateries, Dollar Tree and some shopping stores. That was very convenient. I stacked up on a six pack of bottled water from Dollar Tree that fit perfectly in the frig in the room. Otherwise there is a vending machine on site. Small.pool on site that is 3ft. No jacuzzi. But that was fine because I wasn't in town to stay around the lodging accomodations. The owners are very nice and personable. Their nephew was very nice and helpful at check in. Perk: it only took about three hours for my deposit to be returned to my debit card after check out. I would stay here again when visiting the area.
