The bathroom was not super clean: mold around the shower faucet and hair under vanity. Water in shower and sink would back up. Bed and pillows were ok. Door wouldn’t lock from inside. No WiFi password in the room or given at the front lobby when checked in. The ice machine was gross and unsanitary. On outside, the concrete was uneven in places so had to be more cautious with my handicap mother. It also was a narrow walkway so multiple guests walking would need walk in grass. Outskirt of property landscaping was nice in places, but in my opinion the property still needs work.

Our room could’ve been cleaner the flooring was out last night like it hadn’t been swept the bathroom. The door had something all over it and then when we checked in, we asked, could the bill be split? The guy said yes when we went to check out, the woman said no and charged it all on a card.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The heated pool is a wonderful feature, and the pool area is very cozy and inviting. It is a lovely place to relax and enjoy the morning. Unfortunately, I had an unpleasant experience with a female blond member of staff. I wanted to sit in the pool area in the morning simply to enjoy the peaceful surroundings — I was not using the pool. However, she asked me to leave and I felt that she was quite unfriendly towards me. What made the experience even more disappointing was that about half an hour later, I could see other guests using the pool area without being asked to leave. This made me feel that I had been treated unfairly. It was a shame, because otherwise we really liked the hotel and the pool area. Unfortunately, this experience took away some of the enjoyment of our stay.

This is a quaint inn to stay at in Fredericksburg that is walking distance to “Main Street”, which is really 290. So many shops, museums (that are closed in Tuesdays) and restaurants to choose from. The inn had a great breakfast every day (usually biscuits, gravy, bacon or sausage, potato medley, bagels, yogurt on some days, cereal options, fruit, Texas-shaped waffles and milk/juices). The pools were beautiful, and the main pool was heated in the evenings when it’s too cool to swim. They keep the fire lit by the hot tub and there’s a TV at the fire place seating area. So much to enjoy visually in one spot. On the backside of the pool they have a fire pit with a good 8 chairs or so to enjoy with friends or family. The rooms were clean and I appreciate them not having carpet. The AC worked beautifully…coming from a fellow Texan! The staff at the front desk were helpful and kind.
