La Quinta by Wyndham Fredericksburg

Staff was friendly and pleasant. The property appears to be a bit older. Chairs and lounge chairs by the pool were very well worn and quite faded. Overall, the place felt pretty clean. Our rug in our room was moist and had a very weird smell to it, which is really the most unpleasant part of our stay. The mirror in our bathroom didn't work completely, only half of it lit up. One good thing about the place is it is about 5 minutes from main Street, so a quick ride home after a nice dinner in town. Not sure that I would stay again for the price. I probably just pay a little bit more and stay somewhere a little bit nicer. The pictures are misleading here.

We booked our room though hotels.com. Because we didn’t go directly from hotel they said they weren’t willing to do anything to help us. We had no internet service. They said it was only working on 1st floor and we were on the 3rd. Would not move us to another room. When ask to speak to manager told me that she’s off and I could have her email but she wouldn’t do anything because I didn’t pay the hotel any money directly. The breakfast that was provided was terrible and the beds were like a rock. I have been going to Fredericksburg for many years and this was the worst stay I have ever had.
