La Bahia Hotel & Spa

My stay here was excellent. I stayed in one of the full view ocean rooms and it defintely met every expectation. The bathroom was large and had double sinks. The bathrobes were soft. Turn down service was great and so were the other amenities like complimentary snacks and water. I avoided Santa Cruz for a few years after Covid but this stay absolutely has given me a reason to come back.

One of the best new hotel in Santa Cruz. Beautiful and clean with amazing view and complimentary amenities.

The hotel is still under construction, however it was calm and very welcoming. The rooms are clean and tidy. The hotel doesn’t have any perks for guests but myb bc it’s still under construction. It’s right in the beach so you can take a walk outside and explore by foot. Parking is on you and it’s kinda hard at that area since not many parking spots. So, park somewhere else and uber !

Nice new hotel. Still working out the bugs. Third floor rooms all being repaired so some issue there. We sat in the restaurant for half an hour. It was fully staffed and not full but nobody ever came to take our order so we left. They charge $50 for parking plus $5 tax. Then they charge $50 resort fee with $6 tax. The resort is a small pool that was too full to lay out. Very few unobstructed ocean view rooms. Late checkout is $175 for two hours. Dream Inn is free. We stay at the Dream Inn a lot. Gave this place a shot but doubt we will return.
