Hotel is a 20 minute walk from some beautiful sandy beaches. However, the hotel itself is quite dated. Most sun umbrellas did not work. The room was kept clean, but the sun terrace floors were sticky from spilt drinks and there were discarded cigarettes in corners which did not get cleaned. It felt understaffed. Buffet food was ok. The food in the Fusion restaurant was pretty good, but it was extremely difficult to get a reservation there.

Overall a clean, friendly and calm hotel. Plenty of amenities, such as an on site spa, gym, shops, hairdressers and organised activities throughout the day. 3 pools and jacuzzis. The all inclusive was brilliant with a variety of food and drink available. The Mexican restaurant was outstanding but did require prebooking which was hard to get! The rooms were spacious and cleaned daily.

Good food, excellent value. Royal elite worth it for us, sea view spacious room, elite dining and lounges. Area around pool very tired and could do with a refurbishment. Check in was not the best, reception staff really need to be more friendly (all other staff great)

Traumhafte Lage direkt an den Papagayo-Stränden. Sie sind zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Großes Hotel mit vielfältigem Aktivitäten-Angebot. Große Getränkeauswahl im All-Inclusive Angebot. Aber nur bis 23:00 Uhr. Aufgrund der Größe des Hotels ist es laut, im Speisesaal, der einer Kantine ähnelt, sogar sehr laut. Pool ist im Winter kalt. Überwiegend englisch-sprachige Gäste. Das Frühstücksbuffet danach ausgerichtet. Für Ruhesuchende ist das Hotel nicht so gut geeignet.

This was a fantastic long weekend. We upgraded to the elite and enjoyed the adults pool area which was a surprise. Loads of familles but never really heard them Enjoyed branded drinks in the elite open top terrace. Truly relaxing we would definitely return

A concierge service would be very useful. The hot water in the shower was not there most of the time and showers had to be very luke warm. There was No milk provided in the room with the coffee, tea so could not have a cup of coffee in the room in the whole of 5 day stay, Despite the cleaner coming each day she did not notice and nor did she clean the coffee tray or replenish.

Abbiamo soggiornato 5 notti presso il Sandos Papagayo, bellissima struttura a pochi passi dalla spiaggia , ottimo cibo, personale gentile. Non mi sento di aggiungere altre stelle per via della scarsa igiene nella sala ristorante. Tazze colazione, piatti e bicchieri intaccati da rimanenze di cibo , ci siamo ritrovati insieme a tante altre persone a dover cercare le tazze più pulite ( o piatti) e mettere da parte quelli sporchi ... questa faccenda per tutta la durata della vacanza. Forse un controllo in più ci starebbe proprio. Altra cosa: se nei bagni delle camere ci sono i bidet devono esserci anche gli asciugamani da bidet e invece no, inesistenti proprio...

Terza volta nella stessa struttura, la prima nel 2013 Papagayo Area, poi lo scorso anno Sandos con Logitravel, e quest' anno con offerta Hotels.com. offerta vantaggiosa ma con camera nella peggior posizione, puzza di muffa ( poi identificata in un problema idraulico) tende bucate e armadi dissestati. Non un bel bigliettino da visita. Ma temo che gli amici del Sandos facciano giochetti di questo tipo, evitabili. Il resto nella norma, poca gentilezza e posto incantevole dove posizione e un ristorante sopra la media rendono alcune lacune trascurabili. Solo una volta l'ultimo giorno ho cercato di mettere le salviette prima dell' orario in piscina...giusta amministrazione della direzione, peccato che le altre 100 degli amici inglesi e tedeschi siano rimaste al loro posto, sfortunata circostanza che aumenta la valutazione non del tutto positiva. Ah poi da notizie Canarie l'hotel è abusivo ma questo deve ancora stabilirlo l' autorità

A mixed bag; we upgraded to royal elite - this gives access to additonal exclusive lounges and dedicated restaurant. The Royal elite restaurant experience was nice, but the food did not differ ( perhaps even less choice) to the main restaurant. Room was tired and had a heavy cigarette smell, though non smoking. Aircon was noisy and ineffective affecting sleep. What you do get with Royal elite is drinks served in the restaurant ( with I suspect a better wine) plus somewhat amazingly a serve yourself premium drinks bar in the lounges. Nice, but it did suit heavier drinkers than us. Some hefty measures were in evidence. Getting a pool sunbed was very tricky and there is almost no greenery/ gardens to this hotel.

Above anything else, we were most impressed by the staff. Polite, helpful, and working very hard to look after the guests. Special shoutout to the entertainment team who put in a long shift, but always maintained energy.

After a problematic check in all was well. Lots of in site options, plus nearby beaches via cliff walk for those who prefer to swim in the sea. I had a great stay here due to the fact that the staff was so helpful and friendly. They helped us figure out our transportation options and get around the island. Food was satisfactory (catered to European tastes). Probably better for families vs solo or couples. Enjoy!

Hotel is a 20 minute walk from some beautiful sandy beaches. However, the hotel itself is quite dated. Most sun umbrellas did not work. The room was kept clean, but the sun terrace floors were sticky from spilt drinks and there were discarded cigarettes in corners which did not get cleaned. It felt understaffed. Buffet food was ok. Hemos estado una semana alojados en este hotel y tengo sentimientos encontrados. Las instalaciones están muy bien y el personal es muy agradable. Pero hay cosas que hacen que la estancía no sea buena. La comida es un absoluto desastre y bastante repititiva, no tiene a penas sabor y en muchas ocasiones nos hemos encontrado que estaba cruda o muy aceitosa. Intenté reservar el primer día en los rrstaurante de especialidad y era misión imposible, lo conseguí solo el último día pero la comida también era igual de calidad. Además, teniendo todo incluído, te piden 1 euro por cerveza. La animación está completamente dirigida a ingleses. Las habitaciones en ocasiones huelen a tubería y es insoportable. Los vasos de la zona de la piscina son de cartón hasta las 19.15, por lo que cualquier bebida que pidas hace que se derrita el cartón y sabe fatal, comentan que tienen vasos reutilizables pero solo dan de cartón. Está en primera línea de playa pero no hay absolutamente nada alrededor. No repetiría.

We enjoyed our stay at Sandos. The location worked well for us as it was right at the edge of Playa Blanca, and so was very quiet. There was a good range of food, however there were limited main course choices for vegetarians. Some of the food could have been warmer.

Overall a clean, friendly and calm hotel. Plenty of amenities, such as an on site spa, gym, shops, hairdressers and organised activities throughout the day. 3 pools and jacuzzis. The all inclusive was brilliant with a variety of food and drink available. The Mexican restaurant was outstanding but did require prebooking which was hard to get! The rooms were spacious and cleaned daily.

Super hôtel confortable et propre avec accès à la mer. Nous avons été bien choyés en formule Royal Élite: petits cadeaux, champagne et mini bar dans la chambre, lounge et restaurant privés très appréciable ! Personnel agréable mais parle très peu français. Restauration médiocre sauf aux restos mexicain et asiatique. Nous sommes restés 1 semaine. Je recommande !

I love the all-inclusive part and the variety of food they serve every day. The staff was extremely helpful, especially when we were looking for a phone charger adapter. The sockets are different from the US electric sockets. The only thing I wish all hotels had was an exhaust fan in the bathrooms, because our room here doesn't have any. Also, I was expecting mini toiletries like toothbrush, toothpaste, and slippers, like the ones they give in hotels in Asia. Overall, our room with an ocean view was great, the food and staff service were excellent, and the pools were not overcrowded. I will go back if I get another chance or if their daily rate becomes cheaper.

Whole trip was execellent hotel should be 5* not 4* All staff were brilliant especially manager Maria who helped me whilst I had to see the hotel doctor The doctor is a private one but doesn’t state anywhere Once I’d seen him he wanted €780 I didn’t pay I went reception next morning where manager Maria help me and my wife Maria was excellent she evening extended our check out from midday to 6pm because off the problem we encountered

Great hotel, we had a spacious superior sea view room, plenty staff around in restaurant and food very fresh and hot. Lots of good food choices. Access to beach at the hotel and taxis cheap into town or ferry port. Plenty sunbeds at the pool areas, helpful, friendly staff. Slight down sides were limited mixer options, ie no zero sugar/ diet options apart from Pepsi Max. Would be useful to have crossover in opening times of restaurants and for pool bar to be open later than 6.45pm to allow drinks in the evening eg when sax player outside there in the evening. All in all though a brilliant hotel, would recommend.
