Lange Öffnungszeiten. Bei Ankunft ein Getränk an der Bar inklusive. Beim gehen Flasche Wasser erhalten. Schönes Ambiente. Frühstück: Einfach Hammer. Viel frischen Käse und Fleisch zum selber schneiden. Alle warmen Speisen werden frisch zubereitet und serviert. Neben Lachs auch Shrimps und Cottage Cheese. Cet hôtel est tout simplement fabuleux. Il est situé en dehors du centre de Kandersteg, dans un écrin de verdure. Les chambres sont jolies et confortables, le petit-déjeuner est copieux avec beaucoup de produits frais. Nous avons mangé le 1er soir et le repas fut divin. Le SPA est également très beau avec piscine et plusieurs saunas ainsi qu'un haman et un jacuzzi. Quelques jours avec ma fille qui nous ont reposés. Nous reviendront c'est sûr :)

Diskretes Management , Familiengeführt.Einziger Wehmutstropfen: Zimmer war sehr klein und dunkel und leider nach hinten mit Blick auf Felswand und in die Jahre gekommene Holzterrasse vom Zimmer im unteren Stock. Insgesamt aber fünf-Sterne Bewertung!

Warme Speisen zum Frühstück wurden auf Wunsch frisch zubereitet und waren sehr lecker. Toller Wellnessbereich mit Indoorpool und Außenbereich. Es gibt verschiedene Saunen (Heu, Kräuter, etc.) und Ruheräume (normal als auch einen Salzraum mit Wasserbetten).

The pictures do not do the place justice. Top level. Pool is warm, customer service goes above and beyond as the norm. Got in a bit of trouble for playing piano at 11pm but don't blame them as I'm no concert pianist. Wish I'd have booked the place for a week. Thanks for having me.

Leider wird beim Checkout CHF 14.00 Energiezuschlag berechnet, für mich und meine Mitreisenden ist dies unverständlich und sollte im Preis von über CHF 300 pro Nacht inkludiert sein. Dies hinterliess einen Kleinlichen und schlechten Nachgeschmack für uns. Die Fensterrahmen beim Badezimmer waren voll mit Spinnweben und Insekten wenn es geöffnet würde, dies könnte in kürzester Zeit gereinigt werden.

So lala... alle sehr freundlich und das Essen super. Die Anlage leider etwas schmuddelig. Spinnweben, fleckige Polster, Hundeguetzli auf dem Tisch im Zimmer, Balkon definitiv schon lange nicht mehr geputzt, Glas im Zimmer dreckig. Schade....

There is no AC and there are no fans available. Leaving windows open helps with heat in room But then you aren’t able to block sunlight. Beautiful location and hotel. Lacks AC.

We stayed at the Waldhotel for two nights where we enjoyed hiking and the amazing scenic views of the Alps. Hotel had breathtaking views of the Alps. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was large and updated. We did have a challenge figuring out all of the electronics to get the lights on and shades closed.

Bel hôtel et spa fantastique. Très bon accueil également. Seul regret, la chambre n’avait pas de volet et un velux laissait passer trop de lumière. De plus, l’isolation phonique des chambres était déplorable, permettant d’entendre vraiment tout ce qui se passait dans celle des voisins. Dommage pour un établissement de ce standing

Junior suite was a dark room in the back of the hotel with limited view of the mountains. Was changed next day. Restaurant placed us in an adjacent room despite we asked to sit in the main - again with out the Mountain View. Rude service claims they don’t have time because they need to prepare for lunch.

This is a beautiful resort nestled in the Swiss mountains. Stunning views, amazing dining and one of the best spa’s we have ever visited. Kandersteg is quiet but you dont need to leave the hotel. Every need was catered for and we left truly relaxed. Will definitely return in the future!

Grand problème de communication à cause de la langue….. le français n’est pas du tout pris en compte par le personnel…. On a même remarqué que certain personnel ne parlait même pas l’allemand et que c’est l’anglais qui était privilégié. Je trouve ça inadmissible en Suisse. Sinon tout le reste c’est super !

The pictures do not do the place justice. Top level. Pool is warm, customer service goes above and beyond as the norm. Got in a bit of trouble for playing piano at 11pm but don't blame them as I'm no concert pianist. Wish I'd have booked the place for a week. Thanks for having me.

This is a beautiful resort nestled in the Swiss mountains. Stunning views, amazing dining and one of the best spa’s we have ever visited. Kandersteg is quiet but you dont need to leave the hotel. Every need was catered for and we left truly relaxed. Will definitely return in the future!

Cet hôtel est tout simplement fabuleux. Il est situé en dehors du centre de Kandersteg, dans un écrin de verdure. Les chambres sont jolies et confortables, le petit-déjeuner est copieux avec beaucoup de produits frais. Nous avons mangé le 1er soir et le repas fut divin. Le SPA est également très beau avec piscine et plusieurs saunas ainsi qu'un haman et un jacuzzi. Quelques jours avec ma fille qui nous ont reposés. Nous reviendront c'est sûr :)

Eine kleine Oase am Ortsrand von Kandersteg.aussergewöhnlicher Spa -Bereich.freundliches,aufmerksames Personal, geschmackvoll und landestypisch gekleidet,Spitzen - Gastronomie und excellente Weinkarte. Diskretes Management , Familiengeführt.Einziger Wehmutstropfen: Zimmer war sehr klein und dunkel und leider nach hinten mit Blick auf Felswand und in die Jahre gekommene Holzterrasse vom Zimmer im unteren Stock. Insgesamt aber fünf-Sterne Bewertung!

Schönes Hotel mit fantastischem Restaurant und ausgezeichnetem Morgenbuffet. Leider wird beim Checkout CHF 14.00 Energiezuschlag berechnet, für mich und meine Mitreisenden ist dies unverständlich und sollte im Preis von über CHF 300 pro Nacht inkludiert sein. Dies hinterliess einen Kleinlichen und schlechten Nachgeschmack für uns. Die Fensterrahmen beim Badezimmer waren voll mit Spinnweben und Insekten wenn es geöffnet würde, dies könnte in kürzester Zeit gereinigt werden.

Il ristorante per la cena propone piatti un po' troppo elaborati e pretenziosi, (preferiamo piatti più semplici, tradizionali anche se con materie prime locali).. Parking compreso (per la Svizzera è un bel plus), personale gentle, cortese e disponibile. Consigliato per una vacanza tranquilla a contatto con la natura.
