No air conditioning. We were here in the middle of the summer heat wave, and were dying for a cool night's sleep. Not at this hotel. It was in a weird location (it's basically a rest stop on the highway), and not very convenient for getting to the old town area. We got back late from dinner, and there were some sketchy guys going to/from their room who made me question the location even more. Breakfast was pretty average, compared to the few other hotels we stayed at in Switzerland. We were trying to save a little money by not staying closer to old town. You get what you pay for.

The hotel was convenient, safe, clean and comfortable. Our room was clean, tidy, spacious enough and not overly warm/hot so the fan was just about sufficient as there was no AC. However I think it might be very uncomfortable and stifling during the hotter summer months – and would probably stop me from booking. Breakfast was OK, nothing special – but still appreciated. However the convenience of having ample parking, a supermarket and petrol station alongside were probably the biggest plus points for us. Overall, a decent enough stay and would consider booking again – but not in summer.
