The location of this property is terrific - half a block from Placa Catalunya. The company was very good communicating with us. The place was spotless when we arrived, too. I do take issue with the listing images regarding the apartment's features. In the main living area, there was only a sofabed, not a sofa and two easy chairs as the images show. So for four of us, we couldn't all sit. Additionally, the sofabed itself was broken in such a way that, while we didn't use it to sleep on, we could barely use it for a couple of us to sit on. There is no double bed; there are two twin beds together covered in a sheet, but heaven help you when you fall through the crack in the middle of the night. If you want to use the kitchen you have to bring EVERYTHING you need to cook - oils, salt and pepper, even coffee for the Nespresso machine. There is air conditioning in the unit - but only in the main living area, and there isn't much circulation otherwise. So to keep air moving through the apartment we had to sleep with our doors open - not very private. Lastly, and this may seem like picking nits, but their locks are controlled by an Internet app. If your phone battery is dead or you can't get service, you can't get in. When we first arrived, we were fortunate that a cleaning lady was there to use her phone to let us in.

Beautiful apartment in a perfect location. Spacious and modern amenities. Great for a family of five. A block away from La Rambla and the Gothic Quarter. Responsive and courteous host.
