Riyadh Diplomatic Quarter - Marriott Executive Apartments

Super nice staff. Apartment room was beautiful, clean and had plenty of room. Hotel restaurants had very good food. One had authentic Saudi cuisine by a Saudi born and raised chef. Location is in the diplomatic quarter which is ideal, safe and more walkable compared to being downtown. Perfect if you are active in the area.

It was a great hospitality, smooth checkin and room service.

We left some items in the hotel cabinet and it was taken. We reached out to the management after 24hrs when the room, it was mentioned the room wasn’t occupied yet but the items couldn’t be found. After back and forth conversation on email, it was mentioned that the item that wasn’t found was discarded . This is non perishable items weighing 2kg wrapped in a transparent plastic. I expected this to be reported to the management since it’s an executive apartment with kitchen and dining. Any guest will bring in their food items and other needs to fulfil their stay experience. The management, staff and employees are not to be trusted. The executive apartment room assigned to us has a very bad washroom. The water was overflowing to the toilet and causing a total mess after shower. I often like to be outdoors after taking my shower as I can’t stand the messiness. I have tried my possible best to explain this situation to the management but they were not helpful.

Staying at hotel was a wonderful experience. Staff were friendly and helpful. Apartment was so big with all things that we needed. Thanks for everything.
