Seabirds Motel At Kure Beach

The room was very small but if that is what you like, it was very hot, Room 24 on the end which the sun was heng the room very hatd so the little ac units could barely keep the room cool enough to be comfortable. The parking was very tight, if driving a SUV or Truck park in the back. The dog area was nice and the pool. Just to cramped for 2 adults.

The remodel is amazing. The rooms are so fresh and clean. The outdoors,pool area, has a nice upgrade, might need more lounge chairs though. The dog lit is perfect, its large and totally fenced in. The only downside is the parking. The parking spots are tight, my husband couldn't even get in our car someone was so clise. There needs to be a section, maybe back by the pool in the grass for larger vehicles. Everything else was great!!

Ice machine is broken and they should have supplied a bag or trays

Communication was excellent, the pool area was very well kept as well as the running area for the dogs. When we arrived we immediately noticed how well kept are room was. We will definitely be staying here again.

Unless you have a streaming service you are screwed. No cable or local TV- only streaming available. Ice machine broken. Floor was unswept. If I pay about 250 dollars a night I would at least expect television that I could watch. Not happy about that and will not likely return. Overall a big dissapointment.They obviously try to run the place on a dime and it shows. I would avoid this property. Not even remotely worth the price and calls to the facility were not returned

No ice machine, stale k cup coffee, certainly too expensive for what was provided

Self check in was effortless. Staff was friendly. Parking is tight, but manageable. Not even a 5 min walk to the beach.

All in all it was a great stay. Walk to beach, pier and restaurants is convenient and close by. The parking situation is difficult if you have more than one vehicle. You have to pay an additional $25 for another vehicle. Not sure if that is for entire stay or just one night as I only stayed over one night. Make sure to work that out through the motel otherwise you will end up paying hourly rates for parking lot in back.

Hotel is clean and quiet Walk across the street and you are at the beach. Several places to eat within walking distance. Pool area was nice with pool towels available. I would stay here again.

Upon arriving room looked clean. Upon further inspection there was hair and dirt on bed. When i turned down bed covers i discovered it. Glad i brought a blanket. I slept in chair.

Found a roach, 6 ants, and a spider.

Had to kill a roach in the room and other small bugs through the night. Besides that the only other improvement could be better water pressure.

Very good value, for the price. For fishing, it's great, because it's aithin walking distance to the Kure Beach pier. Only negative was that I saw a live roach and a dead one. Could be because they just sprayed. At any rate, it's my second visit to the motel, and I see no reason why I won't stay there in the future when I have the fishing bug!

Need to clean the mold out of the shower also need to fix the toilet seat and need to fix the ice machine and half cigarette parking spaces for bigger vehicles and remove the ice in the freezer or defrost it. Also to make sure that the spare blanket is clean, it was not

We loved our wknd stay at Seabirds. The rooms were so clean the bed was comfortable & very up to date. They are dog friendly & our pups loved it. We will definitely stay again! It's is within walking distant to my fave place in the world, the Kure Beach Pier & that is why I love this place.

A nice spacious room. there is a kitchen. and an ocean within walking distance.very convenient.

No hot water electrical problems with the lights cutting on and off no air conditioning no parking pass providing two parking places supposedly that we're taking by employees the entire time dirty rooms dirty beds they did leave us the cleaning products to clean the room ourselves no ability to fix any problems send us to another room to shower where the shower was broken off the wall

Recently remodeled. Mattress is very firm. Shower is on the smaller side. Loved the huge TV in the bedroom. There needs to be a small reading lamp in the bedroom as there is only an overhead light. Couldn't find an ice machine-wasn't sure there was one. Keurig coffee maker. Easy beach access. Pier is across the street. Lots of eating options within walking distance. There is a pool. It looked very clean although I did not use it. Would definitely stay there again.

The room is very basic. Do not expect a five star hotel, but if you are only looking for a place to sleep that is very close to the ocean, then this is the right place. Beware that the shower is very small and there is no staff in site, although you can text or call if needed. The A/C window unit can feel loud since the room is small. Note that the ocean is across the road, and there are public access routes very close.

Ill start with the worst first.The bathroom was super small. The showerhead would not turn properly so we flooded the bathroom when we tried to wash up.However ,Beds were queens and super soft .Pillows were great.Slept like a baby.Ac struggled a bit.We had a ceiling fan that helped. Sheets were clean.Lots of soft towels.Soaps were accomidated dish,hand,body,shampoo and conditioner.We had dishes,glass plates,bowels and glasses to drink out of. Dish towels and sponges to help wash.Oven mits,silverware,measuring cups and mixing bowels.We had an oven and stove top.Microwave and small fridge with freeze with ice trays.Large flat screen tv with Netflix.Shower for getting off the beach into the pool,Pool is a liittle small but super nice for the kiddos and for a quick dip to refresh.Lots of places to sit.There is a doggie park with enclosure.They also have an outside picnic area with tables and multiple grills with grilling utensils. The beach is across the street.Coffee and a convenient store in walking distance. .The Restaurant across the street to the left if your facing the beach ,always has a wait but there is a bar upstairs and the food is on 👉 point! Jack macrels. Delicious!We had a lovely weekend! Thanks Seabird!

Beautifully-updated space, really close to restaurants, a convenience store, and the Kure Beach Pier which was beautiful at sunset and at sunrise. Two things to note, the bathroom is extremely small, so if you are planning on having 4 people stay there in a room with 2 queen beds, plan accordingly. There is no sink space in the bathroom at all, but the kitchen is ample. Also, check in time is 4:00 period, whether the unit is clean and available, and we sat in the parking lot for 15 minutes waiting for the code to be activated though the unit was empty, which seems silly.

First time here at Seabirds and very much enjoyed it. Love that it is pet friendly and the size of the room was perfect. The room was clean and the surrounding area was quiet during the night. Good communication when I had difficulty accessing the key code, but got it fixed quickly and easily.

We booked very last minute. No staff on property after 5-6pm. Check in code was emailed to us and you open the door with a code. Very nice and modern room. Better than expected. Walking distance to the beach and pier. Great location.

No one was there to help you, I wanted to stay another night? But it’s cool I had a good time

Horrible service

We had a very pleasant stay, just right around the corner from the beach and the pier. The motel itself was clean , i love how the staff was super helpful and even provided a number for us to text if needed to be. Would definitely recommend and will visit again in the future

I accidentally booked this room. I attempted to cancel but no one ever answers the phone and they will in NO way work with you to refund. I am a single struggling mom who is estranged over 3,000 miles from my family. My sister in law came to North Carolina so I pulled funds together to drive the 6 hour trip to see her and stay one night to sleep before the drive back home. They would NOT refund me ANYTHING and were rude AF!!

Across the street from the beach. Clean room. Housekeeping was just a text away.

It was a nice little spot, just a short walk from the beach and the Kure Beach Fishing Pier. Weather was great, and I was able to relax in comfort.

Adored our room & plan to return. Love the easy check in/out process through my phone. The corner store, restaurants and the pier were a 3 minute walk. The beach access was across the street. Love the dog area!

I was blown away by this place! Very clean, very modern and updated, extra bedding, contactless check in/out, AC worked great, extremely convenient location to get out on the beach. Would highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!
