Motel 6-Las Cruces, NM - Telshor

Great place for the price. Only problem is this is now my 3rd time staying here in a 18month time span. All 3 times elevator has been out of service

Check in time is 3 pm, we got there at 4:30 pm and our room had still not been cleaned. The evelvator was down the entire time were there. Also the the pool and hot tub were closed as well.

The pool and the hot tub need to be cleaned. We stayed here last year around the same time for the same event and they were horrible then and they were horrible now please do something about that. It’s hot outside and what’s the point of having a pool if it’s not usable.

The gentleman at the desk was very nice. My room had some cleaning issues and the hot tub wasn’t working. Overall it was comfortable and a short drive from lots of dining options and the Organ Mountains.

I was not told the elevator was not working when we booked the room or I would not have booked it. we were on the third floor. I have 2 bad knees that will require replacements so it was very difficult for me to walk up and down the stairs. We were not allowed to change rooms to the bottom floor. No offer of a discount for our inconvenience. Very disappointed. Will not return.

Elevator, and pool were out of service. If those had been working our stay would have been much better. Room was nice.

Call prior to my check in to know if pool was available they answered it was available when arrived it was not available 😞

I usually WILL NOT stay at motel 6 because they are generally nasty but i was tricked by the name Studio 6. Just like i expected, it was disgusting. Both pools were gross, floating hair, foggy water. Ang the room and the hallways were filthy as well. I'll never grace motel 6 with my presence again

I have stayed here for years and it is slowly getting run down. I can handle most anything but the straw that broke the camels back was yesterday. The room was dingy, the halls need to be repainted and recarpeted, not sure if my bathroom got cleaned. There was a printnin the shower. I was so exhausted that I didnt fightnit and just wrnt to bed. . Spend an extra w 0 and dtay soemplace elsewhere doety shoe hairties on the floor, a used cup and hairtie on the room was clean theee

I did my reservation and pay my stay in this platform. I was charge again in the hotel so a got charge double! Ive done it before it and is the firts time this happens to me. The room we got it was ok for the price , not very clean but it was ok, the bad thing is we have to get up in the middle of the nigth due to bed bugs on my bed i went to fron desk and they apologized and gave me another room i had to sleep with the lights on becouse of this issue. Thanks God it was only one night i understand you get whya you pay for but i think it is a problem having bed bugs very disappointed

Corporate should pay a visit to bring this property back into the decent Motel 6 fold. Something happened here that I cannot explain, but points to management issues. The room was dirty with stains on the floor and there was dried blood stains on the pillowcases. The only soap in the room was a half bottle of dishwashing soap and a can of Comet cleanser next to the toilet and brush. I don't remember a hotel room that had a toilet brush left in it. The front desk who checked me in was nice and capable, but she appeared to be the only one holding this place together. I'm glad I brought a sleeping bag on my trip because with the stains on the pillowcases I had zero faith that the sheets had been washed. I slept on top of the bed. I did not shower as it looked as unclean as the rest of the room. There was a thick layer of soap on the countertop with the sink and the sink in the bathroom had long hairs in it. The mirror was filthy too. I'm writing this while ensconced in another Motel 6 in Tucson that is everything I expect a Motel 6 to be: clean and in good order. This stay is going much better than the night in Las Cruces. Please rescue that location for your own sake or sell it off and let the transients take it over. thank you for reading my rant.

Bed bugs. Every room should be adequately treated to eradicate these.

Bathroom was not clean when I arrived. There was blue tooth paste spit in the sink, the toilet appeared to have poop residue in it, and the bottom side of the toilet seat was filthy. The next morning I explained the condition of the room to the front desk and asked them to clean the room. They cleaned the bathroom, but didn't make the bed... There was a thick layer of dust visible on the desk under the TV. Paint peeling from tub surface. Couldn't get wifi to work.

Restroom was never cleaned from the previous guests stay. The trash was full. Hairs all over the restroom. I called the front desk and asked if they could clean it after I checked in. They never showed up to clean it. I saw housekeeping the following morning and let him know about it. He said he’d take care of it and didn’t.

Room was beat up and run down. Staff had to constantly give me new rooms keys because they didn’t work on my door. The tv was very small and had about 6 channels. Was not a good experience

For being recently remodeled, the room we were set up had a thin paper like covering taped on to the window.

The pillows were garbage- very stiff and flat. The shower head had a lot of clogged holes, poor pressure. Smallest tv I’ve ever seen in a hotel room-only 32”. Vending was out of order and pool was closed for maintenance.

Bed comfort

The exterior looks nice but this is an old motel. Rooms and beds badly need updated. We booked two nights, had to wait almost an hour to check in! New manager from India or Pakistan was not yet familiar with the system so the nice lady at front desk had to work nonstop to check in people. After coming back from dinner we found people just checked into our room!!! It turns out that we went to the wrong room but we could enter the room with the given key so we did not know. After waiting almost another hour we moved to the right room and found out we could open but could not close the door. One of the door hinge was broken so once you open the door it would sag and cannot be closed unless you are strong enough to lift and forcefully close it. Another long wait for the young manager to come up and showed us with his strong biceps that he could close it. We told him we are seniors and not strong enough to do it. It was almost 10 PM and the motel was sold out so he offered to give us a refund to find another place. It was a pathetic offer since it was late and cold outside so we decided to stay hoping to get another room the next night. We hope you enjoyed reading this review. Our recommendation: be aware of Motel 6. :(

Our door handle was broken and it took forever to open the door. The elevator was broken. We usually really enjoy our stays at this location… this one was just a little inconvenient. We will be back though, hopefully with a working handle.

Checked in and the Receptionist was rude, like we were an inconvenience to her. Go to the room, and the door was jammed. Had to push through like we were SWAT. The floors were sticky and there were old used towels in tub. Let front desk know, nothing was done all weekend. On the amenities it says housekeeping daily, got to the room to change and we had no new towels. The worker down the hall was cleaning rooms at 8pm, so I asked him for clean towels. He tried to scold me because of the door issue till I showed him the issue, and mentioned I had advised the front desk. The outside area is full of trash, boxes and old furniture. This place was comfortable until this past weekend. Never again!

There were a couple of issues, the safety security lock on the door was loose and the toilet paper holder was broken so the toilet paper had to sit on the counter.

Our room was next to a loud pump or something that cycled off and on all night.

Check in was super easy and the staff was very helpful. Plan to stay with them again soon!! ❤️

the staff and front desk was great. long line but the man at front desk was great. Brian staff member help me take bags up to room because elevator was down.

Great staff Quiet Safe Clean room

Check in was horrible. A huge line and only one person behind the desk. A 45 minute wait to check in. Elevator not working. Tough when u have lots of stuff and stuçk on the third floor

Friendly staff

Owner needs to hire more staff- clerk at my afternoon check in had to work overnight, was only getting 8 hrs off before expected back at work again the morning I checked out.

I called ahead for a reservation starting 5/8 saying I would be delayed and wouldn't be able to check in until 5/9 and asked that the room would be held for me. I was told that the room would be held for me. When I showed up on 5/9 to check in, I was told that there was no room for me, that the reservation had been cancelled and was turned away. Needless to say this was a major inconvenience, something that no traveler should have to endure!!! Rude, unfeeling, unhelpful attendant at the front desk...and I'm a visibly disabled person.

Paid for my 3 nights stay in advance. Checked into my room easily with no issues. Room was hot and had a muggy smell to it. Turned the A.C. on which made the smell a lil more bearable but completely free of oder. After 15hrs on the road i decided to just get some sleep. The next morning i went to take a shower and noticed one of my shower towels had brown stains on it. After i got ready to leave for the day i made sure to close my door completely while i was leaving and noticed my door didnt lock. After trying several times i went to the front deck to notify them about the problem. I was told that i was given a room on the "shut down" list and i wasnt even suppose to be in there. I was asked to surrender my room keys and i was told that i would be issued a new room on a different floor that would lock. After being asked to check out i was told that i could leave my property in the room and that someone at the front desk will watch it. I returned later that evening to get my new room and was told they didnt have a new room for me and that i would have to stay in the same room. With no other option available to me by the hotel i had to stay there another night. The following day talked to the man who checked me in and told him i was checking out a day early because he gave me a bad room that didnt lock. He kinds laughed about it with another lady that was sitting in the lobby who was apparently the maintenance person who said she wasnt going to fix it after working a 12hr shift

Front desk staff is amazing.

Tried to check in early due to time we arrived. General manager was very rude when I asked if it was possible to check in early. Told me after looking around that I could check in early for an extra $10. Needless to say I will never stay at a Motel 6 again. She let others check in while we waited in 100 degree weather. So unprofessional and should be relieved of her position.

For the very basic sleep and shower it was fine. Close to everything.

the area was safe. Good restaurants close by. The only sorta bad thing was the traffic on Telshore made it difficult to drive during certain times of the day.

The room was nice n comfortable. The location was great. Plenty of restaurants were near n even walmart was just right around the corner, another thing that i liked about the location was that the mall was right up the road. I will definitely recommend Las Cruces, Telshor Motel 6 to friends and family. This will be the place i stay when i come to Las Cruces.

This hotel was expensive for what you got. Which is a cup of coffee in the morning. No water in rooms. No tissue. It was passable for cleanliness. But was not Clean by any measure. It was at a convenient location for us. To I 25.

Close to family

Hotel.com screwed up the reservation. It had a wannabe kitchen. We had to give a $100 deposit to get things to cook with. Very disappointing.

They advertise continental breakfast but was just coffee. Maybe update that information

There was no AC(no power), no coffee maker in the first room. After several hours wait, I was switched to another room. There was leftover coffee filter there. There was only one lady there but it was a busy Friday afternoon/evening.

Room was not fully cleaned. Sheets had not been changed. Soda machine not working. Staff was quiet pleasant and accommodating.

It was a nice basic hotel. No breakfast, no restaurants, no phone in the room but a nice clean hotel with friendly people. Exactly what I wanted not very handicap friendly

The tables and counter tops were very dusty. The front desk blamed it on that it had been wind but you can tell it hadn't been cleaned in a while. The bathroom was not restocked and the coffee pot in the room still had old coffee grinds still in it.

the bathroom is super tub great water temp perfect. the tv selection could be better maybe u tube or something or maybe i just don't know operation enough. the coffee is horrid exstreamly strong and i like coffee, it was bitter as well and need cups larger than thin 2 oz water cups. other than these mattress was a bit lumpy, staff was great all other things were wonderful.
