Proprietor is on site. He is so nice and helpful. The entire property is so very clean and neat and sweet. We loved it. Breakfast area is PERFECT! Highly recommend.

This was the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at and I’ve traveled a lot! Bedding and towels had a fresh scent like washed in your own house! Beds were comfortable. No hot breakfast but a variety of cereals, muffins, bagels cakes, fresh fruit, yogurt, tea,coffee,juices available 24/7. Stayed on the second floor with deck and jacuzzi tub. Views are the best from 3rd floor. Nice seating area on each floor for extra room if wanted. Walking distance to numerous restaurants, the beach, and the start of the Cliff walk. Extremely happy chose this area to stay in rather than upper Middleton where “ big name” hotels are located.Easy drive to downtown Newport, 5-8 minutes. Perfect location and perfect hotel for trip to Newport!!

I'd stay here again. We arrived late in the evening, and the staff person (owner?) was very accommodating and helpful. The room was clean. The breakfast isn't "fancy" but it was a nice touch with lots of options and we enjoyed it. Easy parking. It wasn't cheap, but it seems like a good value based on the area.

Extremely clean! Newly renovated beautiful property very well maintained. Will be back. Breakfast in the morning. My boyfriend is a coffee lover and was impressed with the quality ☕️!! Service was polite and answered any questions promptly

Our stay at Rhea's Inn by the Sea was enjoyable. Our third floor room had updated furniture which was clean and provided ample storage space. The bathroom was updated, as well. Stairways and public areas were clean, too, although the floor level "lobby" areas looked a little bit dated. It looked like the place had just been painted because the woodwork was so clean, but I have a feeling that the place is just well taken care of. There is a lobby area down by the front desk where fruit, granola bars, muffins, juice, etc, etc are all provided. What a BONUS! The motel is within walking distance to a nearby beach, Clementine's Ice Cream Shop and Flo's Clam Shack. It's also somewhat close to the Cliff Walk and within easy driving distance to downtown Newport. If you're looking for a Hilton with all the amenities, this isn't it, but Rhea's is a very clean, comfortable, quiet, family-owned place.

This property was spotlessly clean! The parking was easy and the area safe with walkable restaurants. It’s very close to first beach and the cliff walk. The coffee, fresh fruit and grab able breakfast options were perfect for us as well. The owner was super friendly with a very easy check in. I hope to stay again next time we are in Newport!

Can't say enough about the property and it's management. Cleanest place I've ever been in. The room was quiet and the bed very comfy. Management was great---professional and very accommodating. Great variety of food for breakfast and snacks. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Rhea's during a visit to see the mansions in Newport. This hotel was a great option for us. Less than a five minute walk to Eastons beach. Very quick drive to the mansions in Newport and downtown Newport. The hotel room was very clean, nicely decorated. Nice options for a quick breakfast. The gentleman who ran the front desk was very nice. We would definitely stay here again!

Rhea’s Inn was absolutely beautiful!!! We booked a king room with a deck which overlooked the ocean. The room and bathroom were large and exceptionally clean!!! Coffee and breakfast(bagels, muffins and fruit) were included. The owners was very friendly. He gave us a lot of recommendations in the area and chatted with us everyday. The surrounding area was nice, walkable, safe and only a few minutes to drive to downtown Newport. We loved it so much we recommended it to a family member who will be there later this year and they booked it also. We would definitely stay here again!!

This place was perfect! Stayed in the jacuzzi room and it was so worth it after a long day of fishing! The whole property was so clean and beautiful. The room was absolutely spotless and even smelled clean which was refreshing. Would definitely recommend and come back!

Clean, well maintained little place to stay. Walking distance to beach and restaurants. Continental breakfast and plenty of complimentary snacks were a plus. Bed was comfortable and the shower had good water pressure. Full size tub, need to step up and over to get into shower.

I loved staying here it was clean, comfortable and quiet. Tony is a great host. This was an easy walk to Easton's beach and a 10 minute drive into downtown Newport.

This property was phenomenal. The energy was welcoming from the start. The room was very clean, not a speck of dust was found. A very cute and spacious room. The area of the inn was perfect as well. A good walk to the beach, local food places you can walk to all around, close to Newport where you can shop and eat. It was an enjoyable stay, affordable, and lovely. Will book again.

Rhea’s Inn was absolutely beautiful!!! We booked a king room with a deck which overlooked the ocean. The room and bathroom were large and exceptionally clean!!! Coffee and breakfast(bagels, muffins and fruit) were included. The owners was very friendly. He gave us a lot of recommendations in the area and chatted with us everyday. The surrounding area was nice, walkable, safe and only a few minutes to drive to downtown Newport. We loved it so much we recommended it to a family member who will be there later this year and they booked it also. We would definitely stay here again!!

Very nice small hotel! We really enjoyed our stay. Great location! You can walk to the beach and even to Cliff Walk. Spacious room, comfortable bed, continental breakfast available 24x7. I'd stay here again. We arrived late in the evening, and the staff person (owner?) was very accommodating and helpful. The room was clean. The breakfast isn't "fancy" but it was a nice touch with lots of options and we enjoyed it. Easy parking. It wasn't cheap, but it seems like a good value based on the area.

Tony is a great host, the Inn is perfectly located across from a beautiful beach and just down the road from the northern entrance to the cliff walk and the mansions. The inn is situated about a 5-10 minute drive to downtown Newport and all the great restaurants and shops. The rooms are large, clean and well appointed and Tony has made sure that all safety protocol's are observed. There is a simple but adequate breakfast available and if you need a full breakfast there is a restaurant within walking distance. I recommend Rhea's for a great night's sleep and an excellent location at a great price.

Tony was very accommodating when i called to confirm my reservation, and made sure i could get the key early before the wedding in case we got to our room very late . would be sure to stay there again when in Newport . vary clean and comfortable .

We stayed at Rhea's during a visit to see the mansions in Newport. This hotel was a great option for us. Less than a five minute walk to Eastons beach. Very quick drive to the mansions in Newport and downtown Newport. The hotel room was very clean, nicely decorated. Nice options for a quick breakfast. The gentleman who ran the front desk was very nice. We would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at Rhea's Inn by the Sea was enjoyable. Our third floor room had updated furniture which was clean and provided ample storage space. The bathroom was updated, as well. Stairways and public areas were clean, too, although the floor level "lobby" areas looked a little bit dated. It looked like the place had just been painted because the woodwork was so clean, but I have a feeling that the place is just well taken care of. There is a lobby area down by the front desk where fruit, granola bars, muffins, juice, etc, etc are all provided. What a BONUS! The motel is within walking distance to a nearby beach, Clementine's Ice Cream Shop and Flo's Clam Shack. It's also somewhat close to the Cliff Walk and within easy driving distance to downtown Newport. If you're looking for a Hilton with all the amenities, this isn't it, but Rhea's is a very clean, comfortable, quiet, family-owned place.

Can't say enough about the property and it's management. Cleanest place I've ever been in. The room was quiet and the bed very comfy. Management was great---professional and very accommodating. Great variety of food for breakfast and snacks. Would definitely stay here again.

This was the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at and I’ve traveled a lot! Bedding and towels had a fresh scent like washed in your own house! Beds were comfortable. No hot breakfast but a variety of cereals, muffins, bagels cakes, fresh fruit, yogurt, tea,coffee,juices available 24/7. Stayed on the second floor with deck and jacuzzi tub. Views are the best from 3rd floor. Nice seating area on each floor for extra room if wanted. Walking distance to numerous restaurants, the beach, and the start of the Cliff walk. Extremely happy chose this area to stay in rather than upper Middleton where “ big name” hotels are located.Easy drive to downtown Newport, 5-8 minutes. Perfect location and perfect hotel for trip to Newport!!

As some other reviews have noted the walls are thin so if you are a light sleeper, plan to have the A/C on or bring a noise machine.

Great boutique hotel with owners present on site. Tony was there to greet us and send us off when we left. Tony makes sure that the coffee is ready and the breakfast foods are fully stocked. Lots of breakfast items to choose from. Very close to Easton Beach and to the Cliff Walk.
