It was unfortunate there was construction going on, so they did not have a real restaurant We didn’t hear any noise from the construction The pool area was immaculate. Everybody was nice and helpful. The lobby and exterior are being renovated. The hotel made that clear when I booked. Hopefully the rooms will be next as they were clean but needed to be totally renovated. New and better lighting, outlets for chargers near beds, luggage racks and new carpet, paint and furniture are needed. the rates reflect this do videos to the owners. Pool and outside look great!

Beautiful hotel. Parking is across the street and the light takes forever to change plus it's a busy area. Pool is small compared to the number of guests. Either get there early or you won't get a chair. The beach is private and very accessible though. You will have to pay for an umbrella or tiki cover. Its worth it. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and will come back.

Heated Pool is great - beach is great too but you should not be charged $25 for a beach umbrella when resort fees are $33.80 per day (per person). Ice machine on our floor but no glasses in our room.

I like that the hotel is on the beach. It is going through some well needed renovation so its really not fair to comment. but the carpets and sofas are kinda grungy looking. But the hotel is in a great location and the staff is very pleasant. you have to pay per day to park in a lot across the road. $30 self park/ $38 valet. also you have to pay per day for beach chairs $33/for 2 chairs/no umbrella. thats a little steep. the reno of the pool area is very beautifully done. as well as the lobby was upgraded. there is also a convenient but expensive cafe shop in the lobby which is good if you are coming in hungry. the food by the pool has good bar food.

Anywhere else! 1- pool closed at 8 pm (they literally kick you out) 2- only one bar outside that closes at 8 pm. 3- after 8 pm if you go on the beach, they make you go all the way around to come back in. 4- you will pay resort tax, sales tax AND gratuity 5- only ONE employee had excellent customer service skills- no one else. 6- rooms are very outdated. (Remodel in process) 7- we used valet for rental car and they lost the keys and stated, “didn’t you check out yesterday” and gave us another customers key. 8- limited food options within hotel. 9- you are paying a ridiculous amount of resort fees, but have to pay an additional amount of money ($100) to sit under a palapa- which they kick you out of by 5 pm. Don’t stay there.

2nd time here, brought kids this time even after finding a cockroach in our room last time. The Hotel; under construction, they warn you, wasn’t bad. Reserved "ocean view" room. Very disappointed. Feels like because we went thru Travelocity & not them directly, we were put at the furthest end room from the ocean, had a sliver of a view, feels like we got shafted. Our view was a trashy rooftop. We met people staying at the hotel who said they LOVED their new room & the update. We obviously got an old room. So, it was disappointing to hear. Room’s much smaller than last time, & had 4 of us this time, very crammed. Never enough towels, door under sink fell off the 1st time we used it (told staff, no one fixed it). Floors were very dirty, our comforter had stains, which they just kept remaking. Hair dryer’s stored in bathroom sitting on towels so beware to not have it fall on you & bruise your toe like mine. Faucet on the bathroom sink was falling apart. Many things in the room looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Took pics but there’s nowhere to post them. We were very excited to eat at the busy Beach restaurant again with an amazing menu. Things have changed. Restaurant was bought by the hotel; menu has like 15 items to choose from & very small portions for the cost (Hotdog = $16). It's no longer busy. They changed the pier, made it 'commercialized', can rent fishing stuff. Pool was great! Staff was amazing! Won’t be back for a 3rd, unfortunately.

My family and I stay here a who week. When we first arrived we got pretty excited the lobby was pretty nice. I thought the room would be the same. To our surprise the room was pretty outdated and dirty (out run had pink mold). We were on the 3rd floor and every time we walked from the elevator to the room I’d smelled like pee. If you’re looking for a cheap beach front hotel this is it. Don’t expect a luxurious place, don’t let their pictures deceive you. The only thing nice about this hotel was lobby, the valet personnel, the location (it’s in walking distance to many restaurants and stores) and you have quick beach access. The hotel is pretty overpriced for the quality but then again you’re paying for its location and access to the beach. On our second day we found roaches in our room and the AC unit sucked. The last couple years we've been staying at the Marco Polo on the same strip but we wanted to try a different spot to see if we had better luck but it was worst. Will never stay here again.

I wouldn’t recommend anyone stay here. While the pooo tea was recently renovated and had a nice bar and the pool itself was clean, all good stopped there. Our bathroom has BLACK MOLD growing. When we informed the hotel you could tell they were not surprised and must hear this a lot because they had a whole script prepared. They would not switch our room or offer us any consolation for this despite us explaining we had two small children and this was a clear health hazard. The rooms were filthy with stained carpets and bugs. We couldn’t get out of there fast enough. While this place is very affordable, it’s clear why-truthfully until the room renovations are complete they should not be having guests stay here. The place isn’t just dated, it’s filthy.

Location of the property was great but the renovations being done was disruptive and gave the hotel an unclean feel about it. The room was a good size but the rooms are very dated and dirty with sticky floors and smelly carpet and holes in the curtains. The housekeeping was a very poor standard with only the towels being swapped out and the bed not touched as well as the coffee supplies not being topped up. I understand the reason to get the renovations done but the price of the room is not good value considering the uncleanliness of the rooms. Noisy tenants were arguing and the rooms are not adequately soundproofed to stop the noise keeping us awake. Disappointing to pay the price we did for the facilities supplied.

The rooms were dirty. I don’t know how this hotel passes inspection. The only reason I did leave is because I couldn’t get a room because it was spring break. The money they charge per night is a rip off. I booked this hotel because my husband used to stay there with his grandparents and my husband and I wanted to share the experience with our grandsons. This was a an expensive and total disappointment

I only stayed for one night so I looked passed those things but I suggest talking to the front desk before hand and make sure that you are not getting one of those rooms because I know that they are updating a lot of them.

The hotel lobby and the pool are beautiful, the access to the beach and is also very convenient. We rented 7 rooms for Mother’s Day weekend for our whole family. 5 out of 7 rooms the ac was broken, one of the rooms was extremely filthy to the point where I asked for a mop, broom and vacuum to clean it myself. I had 2 towels for a room that fits 5 people. This hotel is really not worth what is being charged. Maybe after it remodeled that it would be worth it but as of right now it’s not worth it no more than $99 a night.

The hotel is under construction and the room wasn’t in the best shape. The bathroom wasn’t in good shape at all ceiling was pealing. The air conditioner in room was extremely loud and I couldn’t sleep

We were places in a room overlooking the pool area (balcony) 3rd floor…right beside the hallway bathrooms and convention space… very loud and crowded by that room… and the music was so loud at midnight—I had to call at 12:16 and was assured it would be off soon-I had to call again 15 min later. This was a nightly issue. The water was turned off for emergency maintenance from 10am-4pm with a warning letter—we had dinner reservations at 7:00 that night. Water was still not on at 6:45 when we had to leave—needless to say no shower after being at the beach all day. Hotel was not full—they should never put someone in room 318 unless an absolute last resort— shower and sink needs some work

The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. The pool was amazing and so was the wait staff that walked around helping with opening and closing sun umbrellas, and also delivery food and drinks as needed. The hotel itself is going through renovations which we knew ahead of time, but our room had not been renovated yet and was pretty run down. I would come back once the renovations were finished to avoid the jackhammering we heard the entire time we were there.

Anywhere else! 1- pool closed at 8 pm (they literally kick you out) 2- only one bar outside that closes at 8 pm. 3- after 8 pm if you go on the beach, they make you go all the way around to come back in. 4- you will pay resort tax, sales tax AND gratuity 5- only ONE employee had excellent customer service skills- no one else. 6- rooms are very outdated. (Remodel in process) 7- we used valet for rental car and they lost the keys and stated, “didn’t you check out yesterday” and gave us another customers key. 8- limited food options within hotel. 9- you are paying a ridiculous amount of resort fees, but have to pay an additional amount of money ($100) to sit under a palapa- which they kick you out of by 5 pm. Don’t stay there.

Perfect place on the beach. Views are excellent, plenty of food within walking distance or right at the hotel, and the kids enjoyed it as well. Pool looked amazing but the ocean water was clean, deep and perfect temperature.

I only stayed for one night so I looked passed those things but I suggest talking to the front desk before hand and make sure that you are not getting one of those rooms because I know that they are updating a lot of them.

When we first pulled in we were greeted promptly by the valet. It was cheaper to have valet park the car than the parking garage so we opted for that. Check in was so quick and easy. The lobby has an area that has Lovebirds! So so cute. Going through the hallway to the rooms left a lot to be desired. It was very out of date. The room itself was a little dated too but it was clean and comfortable. Getting to the pool and beach was excellent. On the beach two chairs are included so that was helpful. The pool was very clean (minus the sand from the beach) and the poolside bar was incredible. Such nice staff! When we checked out we were able to leave our bags and car while we went out and shopped. No extra charge either! Great location.

2nd time here, brought kids this time even after finding a cockroach in our room last time. The Hotel; under construction, they warn you, wasn’t bad. Reserved "ocean view" room. Very disappointed. Feels like because we went thru Travelocity & not them directly, we were put at the furthest end room from the ocean, had a sliver of a view, feels like we got shafted. Our view was a trashy rooftop. We met people staying at the hotel who said they LOVED their new room & the update. We obviously got an old room. So, it was disappointing to hear. Room’s much smaller than last time, & had 4 of us this time, very crammed. Never enough towels, door under sink fell off the 1st time we used it (told staff, no one fixed it). Floors were very dirty, our comforter had stains, which they just kept remaking. Hair dryer’s stored in bathroom sitting on towels so beware to not have it fall on you & bruise your toe like mine. Faucet on the bathroom sink was falling apart. Many things in the room looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Took pics but there’s nowhere to post them. We were very excited to eat at the busy Beach restaurant again with an amazing menu. Things have changed. Restaurant was bought by the hotel; menu has like 15 items to choose from & very small portions for the cost (Hotdog = $16). It's no longer busy. They changed the pier, made it 'commercialized', can rent fishing stuff. Pool was great! Staff was amazing! Won’t be back for a 3rd, unfortunately.

The hotel was under renovations, there were limited food options. Nothing vegan really and cannot access the pool area past 10 PM. I had to wait 45 minutes for check-in checked in at 4:45.

From the moment we walked into the hotel we were greeted with hospitality. The hotel was beautiful. A lot of renovations underway, but it was very inconspicuous. Food was on the expensive side. I spent more on food than ai did the hotel. But everything was wonderful.

The room needed an update on the sofá bed and old carpet. Over all everything was great. The Pool and beach was really close from the hotel. We had a a lot of fun time. The staff member were really nice and attentive. The margaritas are expensive at the bar $25 dollars each.

It is a total rip-off to be charged full price and not be informed that the pool was closed for construction. We booked to wrap up a cruise vacation. I am handicapped and cold not walk to the beech. Add to that, a waiter spilled a glass of O.J. on my wife's purse. I was given a check for full amount. I complained and got a $10 discount. No apology.

The pictures on your website of the rooms are FAR different what they actually looked like. Very disappointing. We waited awhile to check-in as the receptionist was having a personal conversation with another employee and on her cell phone. She was rude as well. We still had to pay to use the pool, even though it was under construction.
