Great experience at Waldorf Towers. Easy check in and out. Location is perfect.The room that I got was overlooking the ocean. There’s a restaurant and Bar on the ground floor, and a 24H general store in the side of the building. Occupants gets discounts on the store and restaurant. Employees are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Its an older building on the beach, so its not supposed to be perfect. But the room was bigger than expected. I loved the bathroom. It has a little convenience store in the basement, a restaurant and was close to many other dining options and quick accessto the beach. We would stay here again

Waldorf Towers is perfectly located on Ocean Dr in the heart of the historic Art Deco district. Our room was on the second floor directly on Ocean Dr. Incredibly, the room was soundproofed with double paned windows and quiet. Everything was walkable. The staff was very friendly and helpful with an extremely early check-in at 9am for a nominal fee. Having a room that early allowed us to freshen up as we arrived straight from the cruise terminal. The on-premise sidewalk restaurant had incredibly good food. We liked it so much we had both lunch and dinner there. There was a systemic issue on the second floor rooms with AC not working. They contacted a repairman promptly and the issue was resolved within 2 hours. This is a great hotel in a great place. I would definitely recommend it.

They did let us check in 1 hr early. Room 85 degree s. Maitenance did come and check then we personally had to ask for a different room. No ice machine. No microwave on facility. No kleenex in room. Room very small. Old hotel with little updates.

We were there for just a one night stay. I read the reviews to this hotel and done agree with the bad ones. They are remodeling so they have some rooms that they haven’t got to yet. Our was one of the remodeled. We didn’t see any ants or cockroaches. The hotel does have a restaurant so bugs are a down fall. The hotel does have chairs saved on the beach. I do wish their restaurant was serving breakfast at 8am instead of 9am. You can find other restaurants close that do serve at 8am. We will stay here again when we visit South Beach.

Location was Excellent. Staff was accommodating. Valet Parking was easy. Room was clean. Only thing was the thermostat did not work and the room was warm. Thankfully there was a ceiling fan to keep us cool. Staff tried to adjust temperature from their side, but overall did not work. Hallway was colder than the room. They are planning a renovation this year. I would definitely come back.

The staff was great and pleasant. The room was nice but could be excellent if the cleaning was better. The floor was so dirty within minutes of walking barefoot my feet were black. The shower floor in the corners had rusted brown stuff coming out with mildew coming through on ceiling. The room was a good size but if getting a suite and having lights shining through at night bother you, don’t get the rooms facing the beach.

The rooms were smaller than expected and needed a good cleaning. There was dust and hair in the bathroom and the sink and mirror were dirty. The blinds for the windows did very little to block out the light from the street and it made it very difficult to sleep. The carpets in the halls and stairs was old, stained and in need of changing.

We booked this hotel for a two night stay after our cruise, the photos upon booking show the hotel to be fairly basic but clean and appealing. We were very disappointed upon arrival, many areas including the room were dirty and not cleaned properly in a while. Lots of dust on the hair dryer shelf, we found toe nails under the bed, the fridge in the room leaked, the tables & menus in the restaurant were sticky & grubby. The hotel have clearly tried to have a revamp but on the cheap with poor decorating standards, that coupled with poor cleaning standards brings this hotel right down. It’s a shame as the location is fantastic and this could be such a great hotel with a few minor tweaks & improving basic standards.

We had a view of South Beach from our room but the windows were filthy. A lot of noise came through the door and windows. The carpets in the hallway were very dirty and stained. The room was clean. The staff was helpful except we found out that they overcharged us for the valet service.

We left s day early. Floor was dirty and not swept in the room. Sand and toenails on the floor.. Cockroach in closet. Noisy. Staff was kind and accommodating but we were disgusted by smells of throw up in lobby and elevator. Stairs and carpets were filthy.

Check-in was efficient. Rooms are small because the hotel was built in the 1940s. Great location. Unfortunately, the small amenities are lacking for example no Kleenex the pump for shampoo and soap in the shower required 15 to 20 pumps each to get liquids onto a washcloth. Hallways needed to be vacuumed.

Where do I start! The bed was so uncomfortable, the floors were dirty, the shampoo bottle did not work, the shower was so slippery we also fell, could hear the people above us walking, need I go on????

The service was great. The WiFi, even after being assisted by staff, would not work. Our room was clean but my daughter's had insects -- live and dead -- on parts of it. (See photos.) The location is great but the noise levels are not conducive to getting rest at night.

I love how close it is from every tourist spot, great time at the beach and amazing food around. I read some reviews before booking and got concerned about the noise they mentioned, which made sense, but I was so tired that nothing bothered my sleep. The room we stayed was pretty good, well lighted and clean. I only wish there was a dresser cause my boyfriend is extremely messy. I’d like to thank you the staff by each name, but they were all so amazing and nice to us that I feel everyone deserves my compliments.

Location on ocean perfect. Rooms were nice, bed confortable. The curtain on the window hung a good six inches away from window so it was bright as day all night. They have a neon sign outside that lights up the room. Needs a window shade or change the way curtain sits.

The room was very nice very clean the staff was very friendly. The only problem I had was the heat kept coming on in my room. I think the AC thing was broke and they were booked so they couldn’t switch me into another room but other than that I loved it.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Our room overlooked the beach and was spacious, very clean and comfortable. It was quieter than I expected being right on Ocean drive. I would love to stay again on our next trip.

Note that this is *not the Waldorf Astoria*. Always price match, and inspect prior to check-in. We came for our a couple nights of our honeymoon. We reserved a “deluxe king” and requested an upgrade in advance but the property did not answer. On check-in, we again asked for an upgrade but were told none were available and there were no requests associated with the reservation. We were disappointed to see how very tiny a deluxe king was. The shower had not been properly cleaned. We inquired about this to the front desk but were told we had to speak with the manager the following day. We never did get to speak with the manager during any of the 3 days. However, the door was left open to the room we had requested (right next to ours)- a nice spacious room on the corner. No one was in it for the nights we were there. We were very disappointed with the front desk and that the manager did not respond to our requests. The check-in desk was not at all accommodating or welcoming. As a result I cannot recommend this hotel. On a positive note, it appeared that the room was soundproofed from the street noise, which we very much appreciated. The hotel staff who changed the towels were very obliging. The waitresses in the restaurant and the bartender were welcoming and friendly. The location is ideal for anyone wanting to be in the middle of the action. The hotel provided beach chairs, which was very helpful.

The location is excellent, can't really be beat. The staff was very nice. The bed was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, the lighting is VERY bad in room 312, so don't stay there if you need to see yourself getting ready in the mirror. Also, if you plan to watch any TV in your room, you shouldn't stay in this hotel at all. They know it doesn't work and tell you that when you inquire. Very disappointing since I felt sick and stayed in bed the whole 2 day stay. Honestly, the TV situation is inexcusable in this day and age. It was a 30" SUPER OLD TV with no menu or services, just a physical antenna taped to the window!!! Lol. The TV kept turning off or losing connection every five minutes At the BARE MINIMUM, get smart TVs so people can log into their own Netflix accounts. Crazy.

Unfortunately, the lighting is VERY bad in room 312, so don't stay there if you need to see yourself getting ready in the mirror. Also, if you plan to watch any TV in your room, you shouldn't stay in this hotel at all. They know it doesn't work and tell you that when you inquire. Very disappointing since I felt sick and stayed in bed the whole 2 day stay. Honestly, the TV situation is inexcusable in this day and age. It was a 30" SUPER OLD TV with no menu or services, just a physical antenna taped to the window!!! Lol. The TV kept turning off or losing connection every five minutes At the BARE MINIMUM, get smart TVs so people can log into their own Netflix accounts. Crazy.

Rooms were quaint and fine for our stay. Some areas of the property a little dated though. Surprisingly the outside noise (for the location right in heart of south beach) wasn’t bad but somewhat noisy from rooms above. Staff were very receptive to requests with quick service.

Walls are paper thin. Could hear our neighbours and room above ours was terrible for stomping feet! Cleaning staff left our suite door ajar after cleaning. Thankfully nothing missing when we returned later that day. Valet parking is very slow, be prepared !

Everything was great till check out. I prepaid for 2 rooms on Expedia and had to pay hotel directly for resort fee and valet. When I went to check out, the front desk worker was horrible. Wouldn’t give me a receipt and said Expedia needed to send even though I was to pay hotel directly and they took my credit card for pre auth’s. Then told me I still owed a lot of money but would not explain why or provide receipt. Terrible experience at check out. Not sure I would recommend this hotel.

We arrive at 12:30 pm and our room was ready for us to check in. Nicole checked us in. She was polite and helpful. She offer a complimentary bottle of champagne and chocolate because we were celebrating our anniversary. The room was clean and convenient. The hotel is located in the heart of the entertainment. You can walk to everything. The beach and park is across the street. Great location. We will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is in a fantastic location right in the middle of the ocean drive strip. Less than 3 mins from the beach. Five minutes to the Versace mansion. Right in the middle of many art deco properties. Now for the not so good. The service at check-in was not friendly. The valet parking staff were rude. You have to walk through the patio restaurant to enter the hotel - including dragging your luggage up crowded steps through tables of people eating while the staff stand and watch. While updated the hotel is a vintage property. The rooms are tiny and the walls are thin - we could hear the folks in the next room talking often. It was also a challenge to get the A/C set to cool the room properly. You have to put a key in a slot in the wall to turn on the power. The room will be hot when you first check in. If you’re looking for a property in the trendy strip in south beach this place will do you well. Just understand the property is older. Again - not saying this is a bad place. It is exactly what it is supposed to be.

the staff at the hotel made this a fine stay. Carl was awesome, friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and always asked if there was something else he could do. I booked through Expedia, got a fair rate, when i checked I discovered the AC was not functional for the room I had requested, top floor king with ocean view. Carl made it ok by allowing me to choose from the available rooms. I ended up taking the top floor king with ocean view, it was a spacious room, great views, albeit a tad hot during the day but was ok because it had a ceiling fan, and I was able to leave the door open to the hall which was AC'd. he offered me a free breakfast for the inconvenience. the staff were also accommodating. the hotel is in the heart of south beach, it was thumping but fun throughout my stay.

Couldn’t be happier! Stayed the night since I had a cruise the next day. They let me check-in early, late check-out, and held my luggage for a little while after check-out while I ate lunch at their restaurant. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The service at the desk isn't the best. My key kept on malfunctioning and it wasn't until the fourth time at the desk in 24 hours I was told not to leave it by my phone. I booked the stay through hotels.com and wanted to add another night. I made sure to inform the concierge and he said it'll be fine we can keep our room. Well we did but he charged us for it in addition to us paying hotels.com. I see the charge and go to him he apologized and said he'll take care of it. The next day checking out it asked again and again I was promised. Ten days later still on my card I had to call and be on hold for a while, total time 17 minutes to get my charge reversed. If you just want a place to sleep this is great. Close to the beach. But don't expect any service or security for that matter.

Waldorf Towers is perfectly located on Ocean Dr in the heart of the historic Art Deco district. Our room was on the second floor directly on Ocean Dr. Incredibly, the room was soundproofed with double paned windows and quiet. Everything was walkable. The staff was very friendly and helpful with an extremely early check-in at 9am for a nominal fee. Having a room that early allowed us to freshen up as we arrived straight from the cruise terminal. The on-premise sidewalk restaurant had incredibly good food. We liked it so much we had both lunch and dinner there. There was a systemic issue on the second floor rooms with AC not working. They contacted a repairman promptly and the issue was resolved within 2 hours. This is a great hotel in a great place. I would definitely recommend it.

Wonderful hotel and location. I loved this place and will make it my "go to" hotel when in Miami. The hotel is perfect Ocean Drive art deco but with modern amenities. Staff was incredibly polite and helpful. The location is fantastic, perfect for both day and night things to do.

Great experience at Waldorf Towers. Easy check in and out. Location is perfect.The room that I got was overlooking the ocean. Was not good at all. Sink leaking in bathroom told front desk first day, never heard from anyone. The restaurant downstairs charged over $25 for a tiny chicken sandwich that on menu said grilled chicken and we got 1 kids fried chicken tender cut up on a tiny roll. 1 beer $25. At the last min waitress said oh yeah you get another free. What a joke. $130 for a terrible dinner and loud all night from the partying down below. Never again. Just walking near hotel was every restaurant harassing to come in and eat. Liked the nice beach area though across street.

We were there for just a one night stay. I read the reviews to this hotel and done agree with the bad ones. They are remodeling so they have some rooms that they haven’t got to yet. Our was one of the remodeled. We didn’t see any ants or cockroaches. The hotel does have a restaurant so bugs are a down fall. The hotel does have chairs saved on the beach. I do wish their restaurant was serving breakfast at 8am instead of 9am. You can find other restaurants close that do serve at 8am. We will stay here again when we visit South Beach.

when got to the hotel we paid in full with cash and they never emailed us the receipt. And when we got to the room the toilet was not clean and never flushed from previous occupants, also the bathroom floor was full of sand. The bathroom obviously wasn’t cleaned . We called the front desk and he said he was gonna send someone to clean the room. And no one never came to clean. We asked for clean towels and beach towels next day in the morning 2 times, and they only bring 2 beach towels So when we see the maintenance door open we when to get our own towels. The Next day we went to the front desk for my receipt that showed I pay in full and he told me we don’t do that because we book it with expadia so I got nervous and he show the screen computer to my husband to show was paid, not even 2 min later I got a email with the receipt so the man lie to us. So the cleaning lady came to the room only to bring towels but she didn’t clean and didn’t make the bed. When we checked out this morning the man at the front desk didn’t ask how was our stay , thank you for coming safe travels nothing he didn’t say nothing, just you good to go We wear very disappointed .
