There were building works going on in the hotel. At 8.15am on 2 of the mornings they started using power drills in the room next to mine. I was woken up both days and the power tools continued the whole day. It was incredibly loud and impossible to sleep, think or work.

Très bonne réception vendredi soir - Super service pour les logistics vers Glacier 3000 - Très bon petit déjeuner - Propriétaire chaleureux et très sympa! Chambre propre et adéquate pour un prix tout à fair raisonable.

La Chamois is nestled in a truly stunning setting—mountains on all sides, towering pines, and that crisp alpine air that makes everything feel a bit more magical. The location alone is worth the stay, with trails and vistas just steps away. The hotel itself is charming and well-situated, though the walls are a bit thin, so light sleepers may want to pack earplugs. Still, it’s hard to complain when you wake up to views like that. Conveniently located close to the train station. Super friendly staff.
