This hotel was quiet, clean , off in the cut , but by convenient stores and restaurants. Lobby space and additional tables with cozy chairs were a good space to go down and get some business done. I even saw a group down there playing cards. The breakfast had good options. They also have a modern coffee machine where you can get coffee and tea 24/7

Very up set I got a suite for my son a couple of his friends for his 12th birthday to go swimming. The pool was very warm felt like a jacuzzi without the jets, then at check out my deposit was took because one of the kids spilled red juice on the pillow after several tries to contact the manager still til this day a week later haven’t heard from anyone to find out why my deposit was took over a pillow. And the mini refrigerator did not work so everything thing I brought with me I had to throw out the next day. Everytime I asked for a manager unfortunately none was ever there to resolve any of my issues, I will not go but. Very disappointed customer. Maybe they should have stayed the country inn.

Check in was fast and both the clerk and manager were friendly and helpful. We needed to add a day to our stay and they helped us do that with added incentives as well. The room was clean and quiet. The breakfast was very adequate and the person handling the area was always helpful and courteous, always making sure there was enough food out for everyone. There is a grocery store right across the street and plenty of restaurants nearby. This is a newly renovated hotel done within the last year.

The bedding(sheet and duvet cover) were stained with what looked like blood. The bathroom wall hook was broke and fell off the wall. Toilet did not flush well (had to hold down handle to make toilet flush completely). Waffle machine did not work/broken at complimentary breakfast. Wish there had been the choice of plain eggs instead of both egg choices including added cheese and peppers. Prompt response by staff regarding complaints.

We stayed over two nights as we visited the nearby Illinois Beach State Park. The accommodations were great and staff was very responsive. One feature to note - we stayed in the 2 King one-bedroom suite (which is advertised to accommodate 6 adult guests). The door between the bedroom and main room is really a window. There is no privacy between the two rooms. Ordinarily, a room like this has a solid door, which gives a family a second space to change, have a break from one another, etc. My understanding is the door with window is a requirement of the corporation, not a local decision. Either way, it might be helpful for others booking this type of room to understand the set-up. I uploaded photos - this is looking from suite space into bedroom (not a reflection).

I was there in the evening to sleep as I was too far from home after working my construction job. I only was in the reception area to check in and my room. The man at the desk was very nice the room was perfect. Clean and comfortable. A.c worked good and I left well rested n happy

The hotel was very clean. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was excellent! The only thing that took away from the stay was the noisiness of the other customers, but that is not at the fault of the hotel at all. We had a family of children next to us and several families with children staying above us that kept us up most of the night.

Love the proximity to Illinois State Beach Park and Gurnee Mills. Rooms adjacent has a toddler that’s crying and making so much noise at 1am. We can hear all the way to our room. Made me awake until 4:30 am! Surprise that the room can’t reduce the noise outside to at least some decent level. Otherwise good place to stay. Free breakfast too is a plus. Thank you guys

The main thing that was a little sketchy And made me uncomfortable Was the morning of my check out around 9am I went to eat breakfast and I had the sign my door that said not ready yet But when I was walking toward my room, I saw the housekeeper outside my door and another one walk out of my room. I said hey, I’m checking out in about an hour, but I need to shower still. I do not think either one of the housekeepers spoke any English or understood what I said, so I double locked myself in the room while I showered. When the housekeeper went in my room while I was gone, it made me very uneasy because all of my personal belongings were still in the room, including my purse. I’m wondering what good the sign is that you put on the door knob? I would not go back for this reason

Their system was down when we got there, so we waited 45 minutes in the lobby. Then asked us for $100 cash for the incidental fee so we went to get cash. We were gone barely 5 minutes and when we got back there was a line of guests who arrived after us checking in. We then had to wait in another 10-15 minutes to finally get our room key. The staff was nice, but definitely feel like the situation should have been handled better.

I stayed at this location one week ago to be close to the beach… I loved it so much, I booked again and returned just a week later. Such friendly staff, super clean and the breakfast is great. Truly a family location and I appreciate that and the safety. I will def return.

I stayed at this location one week ago to be close to the beach… I loved it so much, I booked again and returned just a week later. Such friendly staff, super clean and the breakfast is great. Truly a family location and I appreciate that and the safety. I will def return.

Staff was amazing and very knowledgeable of the area. Felt very welcoming the second I stepped into the building. Breakfast was great. Hotel is located at a very convenient location. Supermarket, 2 dollar stores and restaurants just steps away. Naval base only a 18 minute drive. Couldn’t have been happier with this choice in North Chicago.

Love the proximity to Illinois State Beach Park and Gurnee Mills. Rooms adjacent has a toddler that’s crying and making so much noise at 1am. We can hear all the way to our room. Made me awake until 4:30 am! Surprise that the room can’t reduce the noise outside to at least some decent level. Otherwise good place to stay. Free breakfast too is a plus. Thank you guys

The bedding(sheet and duvet cover) were stained with what looked like blood. The bathroom wall hook was broke and fell off the wall. Toilet did not flush well (had to hold down handle to make toilet flush completely). Waffle machine did not work/broken at complimentary breakfast. Wish there had been the choice of plain eggs instead of both egg choices including added cheese and peppers. Prompt response by staff regarding complaints.

The staff at this property were amazing! We stayed for 5 nights and they were consistently kind, attentive, and quick to action any of our concerns. Breakfast food options were good although repetitive. I highly recommend this hotel!

Check in was fast and both the clerk and manager were friendly and helpful. We needed to add a day to our stay and they helped us do that with added incentives as well. The room was clean and quiet. The breakfast was very adequate and the person handling the area was always helpful and courteous, always making sure there was enough food out for everyone. There is a grocery store right across the street and plenty of restaurants nearby. This is a newly renovated hotel done within the last year.

This was a great experience overall. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I didn't give it 5 stars because the breakfast options didn't give none pork eaters an option, and no hot chocolate :). I would definitely return and recommend it.

Meilleur rapport qualité prix de tout notre séjour aux usa. L’hôtel n’est qu’à 5 min en voiture de la plage et il dispose de chambres spacieuses et calmes. Les commerces sont à proximité immédiate. Très bon séjour.

I stayed at this property a couple months ago and our experience was great. When checking in a couple days ago we were given a room that hasn’t been cleaned. Then another that wasn’t cleaned. Finally third time was a charm and it was atleast cleaner than the other two. The guy at the front kept apologizing and crap happens so I understand that. Well the carpet in our room was disgusting, the tv did not work, and our air conditioner sounded like it was going to blow up. Not to mention there was a pube stuck to the shower wall. Not a fan. Unfortunately we will not be visiting this hotel again. It was our go to for our Six Flags trips.
