AVOID! I made the mistake of not reading the negative reviews before booking. Like others have said, this is NOT a hotel but a very popular and very loud bar with intoxicated patrons having the run of the place until 2:30 AM. Worst hotel experience EVER. This place was presented on Hotels.com as a unique boutique hotel. While the design and conditions were very nice, the experience was absolutely awful. We will be complaining to Expedia directly. This property should not be offered on Expedia platforms. It was a total misrepresentation and the owners couldn’t care less.

Really nice hotel with a restaurant below it! The rooms were nice and everything went smoothly. They accommodated my request to check in an hour early which really saved me because I had to be at a wedding at 3.

Clean room , amazing food , staff was amazing , and the hotel and area was very historical and quaint! Loved it !

This was a gem to find! Very very clean, in a quaint small town, close to highway. Awesome nice and newer rooms above a restaurant, which was a great place to sit outside, next to a fire pit and have a drink and a dessert! We turned the a/c fan on at night, and it created white noise, and we slept very well. Didn’t hear the bar/restaurant below. Checking in was easy and staff was very kind,,, even offered to carry our luggage upstairs. Next morning, we walked over to Union Coffeeshop on our way out of town. Very nice shop, as well. We would def stay at The Grand Hotel in Buchanan again!
