The hotel has obviously been newly refurbished. The rooms are spacious, well appointed, clean, and well designed. They had a small continental breakfast with coffee, juices, and pastries which was a nice touch and the staff said that they are planning to have a breakfast with more options in the coming weeks. The lobby and breakfast area were really nice. Beds were comfortable, but pillows were the basic small, square pillows that most hotels have decided to go with these days. Our "ding" for this property is that the doors seem to be having issues (we really had to push to get our room door to open both entering and exiting.) Staff said that because they are new, the seals are extra stiff so hopefully this is something that will improve over time. Overall, this is one of the nicer hotels in this area, and we would stay here again if in the area.

The good-The location is great. It's near a few shopping centers/ mall and food options. They do have balconies/terraces which is bonus. The room was decent, but the configuration was odd. The bed placement only allowed for one nightstand which was inconvenient. The bad- The outside trash was full for two days which caused animals to circle around the front entrance. There were no food/snacks options available at the front desk as advertised. Breakfast was blah- bagels, oatmeal, cereal, juice and coffee. No hot food options are offered. The ugly- After a long day I was startled awake at 1:23am to commotion in the hallway (1st floor). A young lady was screaming, crying and gagging- stating that she messed up and he was mad at her...I called the front desk after this went on for about 5mins and they said they were aware and were handling it. They did not...She continued to perform and slam doors off and on for about an hour, so sleep was nearly impossible, I complained to the front desk before checkout, and they said they have cameras and it will be handled whatever that means. Other than the ugly, I had a decent experience. It's about 10mins from Delaware Park which was my reason for the visit. I would stay again but would definitely not stay on the first floor.

The hotel is ok on the outside but fairly bad on the inside. They are renovating it so maybe it’s better but when I stayed I considered leaving. We were there for UD Parents weekend so there was no where else to go is the only reason why we stayed. Our room was better only in the sense that I didn’t think I was going to contract something awful while in the room. The hallways looked like a recipe for black mold. This is one of the worst stays I’ve had. 0/10 won’t stay again and it has tarnished the chains reputation in my opinion. It wasn’t fit for human habitation.

Had I known the entire first floor was being renovated, I would have selected a different hotel. It was terribly inconvenient and there wasn’t any breakfast in the morning, as is customary for hotels like this. It took three tries for my key card to work when I was checking in and then on my third day(I was staying five), my card wouldn’t work again to get into my room. The hotel itself was fine, but the renovation was a huge pain.
