Our place was very clean. It had a great view of the amusement park. I love the Flanders. It’s so classic there. The only problem we have was with the TV. It was kinda hard to figure out because you needed it like on a certain channel for it to work so we did have to ask the front desk, but they were very responsive and came to fix it.

For the price charged during peak season, I strongly recommend staying elsewhere. I expected a luxury experience comparable to other high-end hotels I've stayed at in places like New York, Paris, and Hawaii, but this property fell far short. The hotel's historic charm is largely limited to the grand lobby and event spaces. Our room felt like a basic condo with no premium finishes, loud air conditioning, poor water pressure, cheap fixtures, and a plastic bathtub surround. You'll also hear amusement park rides and screaming until 11 PM in season, even on higher floors. Service didn't match the price. Bell service is "available upon request," but at this rate, staff should proactively greet and assist arriving guests. The pool area is dated, loungers are worn, towels are thin and undersized, and pool hours (10 AM-5 PM) are surprisingly limited. The amusement park noise is constant from the pool deck as well. The restaurant was dark with a limited menu, and while the food was okay, there are much better dining options nearby. The room was clean and the kitchenette was well stocked, but that's where the positives end. Overall, this felt like a mid-range hotel charging luxury prices. I left disappointed and wishing I had spent my money elsewhere.
