We enjoyed our 4th of July stay with this property. This was our 2nd time at this place within a month. We plan on going back every time we visit the beach! Yes, there was construction going on at the front of the building, but it did not interrupt our vacation.

Property was good. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Breakfast better than other continental breakfasts I have had. There was a $10 per day parking fee.. which is stupid. This hotel is not on the beach and has a big parking lot. There is no reason they need to charge a parking fee. Add $10 to price of room if they really want an extra $10. That was my only complaint.

breakfast was terrible. Someone died at the hotel 10 feet from my door and no one spoke to me about any of it. I had my 8 yr. old granddaughter with me. it was horrible. the pool was dirty and the pool bathroom had crap on the floor I told them for 3 days it needed to be cleaned. My bathroom floor was dirty. I could go on and on but do not go there

Walking through the front door the place had a unique smell to it. Once we got the key to our room we get there and open the door immediately you can smell mildew, old dirty carpet it was horrible. I ask the housekeeper on the floor if I can change my room and he let me in a room across the hall the room was no different. The front desk lady (white/heavy) was annoyed that I wanted to change my room but she did give me a new room and key. I had to go out and buy alcohol to spray the whole room down. There was no mattress protector on one of the beds, there was 8 pillows and they all had pillowcases but only 2 had pillow protectors so I had to go and get some from the front desk. Housekeeping never came to our room to see if we need new towels since we stayed more than 2 nights. When I did ask for new towels and washcloths she stated she didn’t have any and go to the front desk. As I stop by their laundry room and ask the lady who was sitting there on her phone she said that they were in the dryer and didn’t have anything clean. Our last night several kids were in the pool having a fun time that front desk lady (white/heavy) came and kicked everyone out the pool area stating she had complaints and how its 10pm and they have to get out minding you pool close at 11 and everyone that was at the hotel on spring break. Even the breakfast lady had an attitude and wouldn’t put more muffins out for guest that asked. Paid too much to stay there and they service was poor.DO NOT STAY!

I had to switch rooms due to a very loud refrigerated truck parked right outside my room. The desk was very responsive and got me into a new room. Room was okay, bathroom was gross! Reeked of urine. Urine on the side of toilet! Shower curtain had stains all over it. Sand in the tub. Mold on the ceiling and flies everywhere in the bathroom. Microwave was dirty. Never again.

The room could’ve been cleaned better. Stands of hair in the bathroom door. Very awkward for the bathroom vent to be located where the tub is at. While taking the shower the vent is blowing on you while taking a shower. A roach came out the mirror. The roach went back in to fast to take a pic. I wouldn’t been able to get a different room. The lady working front desk informed the people that was trying to check in that their rooms were all sold out. I didn’t check in til late that night & it was a holiday weekend. The beds were not comfortable at all. When’s the last time the mattress been updated ? What’s the turnaround time for hotels to switch out their mattress?

The room was clean and remodeled, but not completely serviced. The soap and shampoo dispensers were empty; there were no disposable cups for the bathroom (only two paper cups for coffee. The free wifi sign-in had a software bug that defaulted to reregistering and paying for internet - a trip to the front desk was met with a recommendation to keep trying, and only after going thru the motions were believed and given an override code to make our internet free as promised. These are small things, but other hotels get them right.

While I didn’t love the $10 parking fee, we did love the location in comparison to where we were going from the hotel. And the best part was that the air conditioning didn’t cut off in the middle of the night making me wish I had brought my own fan. Huge pet peeve of our travel ventures.

We were locked out of room with all of our belongings inside due to a malfunction of the door. We had to wait in the common area for roughly an hour before we were offered another room. After several failed attempts, roughly 3 hours later they were able to open the door for us to retrieve our belongings… This was a horrible situation due to all of my medicine that has to be taken on time was locked in the room.

Nice room, very clean. The window treatments did not work. There was no way to raise the darkening shade. It appeared to be broken. Lots of staff and carts in the halls during the AM causing some issues with passage. The halls are to narrow to accommodate that much activity during check out hours. We will stay there again. It is convenient to the beach and restaurants.

Totally chaotic from the get- go. The stay itself wasn’t bad other than the beds being uncomfortable. We stayed 2 nights and never once got room service. I had to go downstairs to get towels. I was told upon check-in that there would be a $40 incidental charge ($20 a day) but i would get my $40 back upon check out. As long as nothing was bought from the snack bar and the room wasn’t messed up. Upon checking my account 2 days later, i noticed i was only given back $20 instead of the whole $40. I called the hotel and questioned them about this. She stated the other $20 was for parking ($10 a day). I was never once told about the parking fee even though she says she told me. Although during the whole checkin process she was messing around on her phone. The manager actually walked up on her on the phone, then she proceeds to make all kinds of excuses of why she was on her phone. Pretty sure the phone being more important is why she didn’t tell me about the parking fee. As i was told multiple times when i asked, i would receive $40 back upon departure. Nothing was said about only receiving $20 back and the other going to parking.

The check in person messed up and our reservation was cancelled. Our keys didn't work after the first night and the front desk girl refused to help us. Locking us out of our room. She hid in the back and refused to talk to Hotels.com. Another employee let us in our room. The next night when I commented on her being in the back again, she came out into the hallway and verbally aggressively confronted us. Using profanity she commented and walked away. When we talked to the service manager she assured us she would take care of the problem. Furthermore, the employee lied and said that my group brought in chairs from another area and surrounded the front desk not allowing her to help other customers. Lie, as she went to the back office and refused to come out and help us or others.

My family and I had a wonderful time at Hampton Inn for Memorial Day holiday! The entire staff was excellent. I rented a golf cart and the staff was helpful with advising us how to get to the beach! We were in Panama City for a scuba diving trip. Hotel was less than a mile from the dive shop and the dive boat. Great location - great restaurants nearby. Staff was very nice and attentive.

It was a unexpected stay and arrived late. Tried to shower but no soap was in room. Service desk said they don’t provide it but did provide shampoo and conditioner. That’s strange. My friends and I stay here every time for the Thunder Beach Rally. We like thatThe location has a gas station right there also a couple of restaurants that you can walk to. The rooms are always clean and the front desk staff is always amazing. The breakfast is a variety and always very good.

breakfast was terrible. Someone died at the hotel 10 feet from my door and no one spoke to me about any of it. I had my 8 yr. old granddaughter with me. it was horrible. the pool was dirty and the pool bathroom had crap on the floor I told them for 3 days it needed to be cleaned. My bathroom floor was dirty. I could go on and on but do not go there

We have been to many Hampton Inns. This was not the worst, but certainly not the best. My wife and I checked in without a problem and so did our traveling companion. Separate rooms. Had breakfast the next morning and our companion wanted us to see her room. Ate and went to the room. Holy smokes!! The ceiling in the room was covered in mold. And yes I have photos. Brought this to the attention of the front desk and he explained that there is an air handler problem and apologized. Gave us a "greeting bag" with water and a couple snacks. Rooms were changed. That room should have never been used by anyone! Room attendants should have seen this well before we arrived. Carpets down the hallway either need to be cleaned or replaced...I go for replacing. The toilets, I believe are original. I might as well been sitting on the floor. Replace those "low riders" with updated 17" toilets.... which are also more efficient. They use much less water.. Tubs...I bet 95% of guests do not take a bath. Replace with shower stalls. Safer. On a positive note, breakfast was very good. Front desk personnel were attentive. But ask for a towel from a room steward and be told to go to the front desk because she didn't have one.....well, not a good answer. The mold issue should have been a comp for that night. Was not even considered. I guess I would probably stay some where else when we go back to visit Panama City Beach.

Pour 5 personnes nous n’avions que deux lits il a fallu batailler pour avoir un cinquième couchage. Le King size bed était cassé par le milieu et la douche était cassée aussi , nous en avons fait part le lendemain lors du Check out mais le personnel s’en fichait complètement. Hébergement à éviter.
