Days Inn Sutton Scotney South

Nette und bemühte Servicekraft an der Rezeption. Zimmer insgesamt ziemlich abgerockt, aber sauber. Fenster lassen sich leider nicht öffnen. Wir waren an einem warmen Sommertag da und mussten leider bei recht hohen Temperaturen schlafen, weil sich das Zimmer nicht lüften ließ. Insgesamt ist es eher laut im Hotel, Gäste kommen noch spät an, und die ersten fahren wieder früh. Außerdem hört man viel Verkehr von draußen, LKWs, Motorräder. Wenn man einen empfindlichen Schlaf hat, kommt man nicht recht zur Ruhe. Wenn man damit klarkommt, ist es vom Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis her okay.

Parking is easy - I have no idea how secure. It’s always a worry when I’m on the road. Night receptionist was great, very pleasant. Hotel was nice and clean, quiet. I do think the rooms need a bit of updating. Having nowhere near the bed to charge a phone is not great nowadays. All in all a good night though.

Parking was easy off from the main services. But the hotel it's very run down. The bathroom door didn't close and was falling apart, the grout around the bath was black. The bathroom floor was very uneven. The towels had worn through. The windows were very ropey looking I wouldn't trust them. Mystery stains on the carpet. And just about everywhere tbh. The bed was comfortable but felt like it was back to front like my feet were a foot higher than my head so had to speed upside down. The rest of the building and the facade was the same. Receptionist was friendly. And it was very close to the village if you snuck out the back gate to get some decent food at the coach and horse. It was only for one night but I definitely won't be rushing back.

The hotel is good for the money. It's convenient and the staff are friendly and helpful.

We moved rooms twice as 2 of the rooms had ants in them, third room didn’t have ants but was dirty. Lady on reception was very helpful.
