Bedsheets had some stains on it. Just very outdated room, decor and furniture, etc. OK for one night but woke up with a neck ache.

This was not a good night. One of a few places in the Westerly area that still had same day vacancy last Saturday. Bed very hard and so were the pillows, impossible to find a comfortable position. Sheets had that characteristic smell when you skimp on laundry expenses by using way too little detergent. Towels did not even get the benefit of the laundry. Not easy to see though as most lighbulbs were extremely faint. No privacy through the only front windows, heavy night curtain or... nothing. TV remote dirty and sticky, had to reconnect hdmi cable to box and tv to make the thing work (yeay, something worked!). Months' worth of dirt on the exhaust fan in the bathroom, vanity lights in bathroom and bedroom were the only ones meeting expectations. It's the kind of place you feel powerless to even point out anything until you leave and mention only one thing to the owner who is absolutely clueless, but tries very hard and says goodbye with a disarming smile. Great location as I struggle to justify the 2nd star.

Good location and great potential. The Staff were friendly and the room we stayed in affordable, clean and well enough updated inside. The property and grounds were not set up like the photos showed so we were not able to enjoy those amenities. Where nice evening seating was shown, there were wooden pallets randomly left around the front property. Not sure if there was construction work to the outdoor areas prior to peak Summer travel.

overall, this day was amazing. My only issue was the day of checkout housekeeping was banging on my door since 8 AM and insisting it was time to go. Check out time is 11 and it was a little scary, not knowing who was banging on the door and trying to come in.

WiFi in public areas is password protected that’s not given to you on check in. Be careful if your room is on the second floor and need to carry stuff up. I’ve stayed in places that were cheaper and same condition so wasn’t worth the price. It’s not horrible, but I am also glad I was only there for one night enroute to Maine
