Holiday Inn Express Toledo-Oregon by IHG

The breakfast was good it could be better if they could make better decisions on the cereal Kellogg's is popular but doesn't provide a gluten free cereal Cheerios is gf and some of the Chex cereal are gf.

No coffee maker in my room. Fridge rocked side to side when opened. Plugs over desk not working. Ran out of biscuits x 20 min at breakfast

Room had been recently remodeled, was very clean and pleasant. The exhaust fan in the bathroom, however, rattled and banged at an obnoxiously loud level to the point where it could not be used. Reported to front desk at checkout. Two other things which were extremely annoying - first apparently all HI Express hotels are in the process of removing all in room coffee makers, which requires you to get dressed and go downstairs to get a cup of coffee in the morning. This long-standing amenity will be missed. Also at this location where I stayed for 2 days, there were absolutely no cinnamon rolls each morning which is something they are known to have routinely at breakfast. Was told at the front desk that they never came in on their most recent food order. My disappointment in these last two issues caused me to rate the hotel at 3 stars.

Our check in was easy - we were asked a floor preference, which was nice. Room was clean and A/C worked just fine (a little noisy, but that is typical). We went down for breakfast at 7:45 and things were low (sausage, cinnamon rolls). While we were there, they were not refreshed.
