Parking is excellent

Room was clean. Area was fine. Lots of dining options. Felt safe. Workout room was nice. Breakfast was good. Beds were super comfy. Would stay again. 10/10

It was a decent stay. Would have liked to have been asked if I wanted an ADA room beforehand as I prefer a bathtub. Disappointed that the hot tub was down. Accidentally left my charger in room and staff did not turn it in. ☹️

Horrible Hot Tub. Everyone complained. It was 85 degrees. Colder than a person's body temperature. The pool was also cold. I specifically wanted a hot tub. A huge waste of money.

I loved relaxing in the pool and whirlpool each evening. Great amenities and kept very warm.

My wife and I specifically booked the property for the the hot tub and pool. as the hotel was 20 min out of the way but had the amenities that we wanted.. we visited on the saturday morning and the hot tub was 84 degrees with no sign of heating up..notified the front desk sent maintenance .. nothing changed on saturday - however on sunday it was over 100 degrees but was noticed that about half the jets were out of service

Wish the pool area would have been bigger

Very clean hotel from top to bottom. Breakfast was good but didn't vary between the three days. Bed hard as a rock. Air conditioner was making squeekng noise the whole time. Was told couldn't switch rooms as they were full. Pool was small and salt water but overall decent.

Staff was so friendly and helpful especially Karen at tge front desk! Breakfast was nice. Rooms very clean and updated. Only downfall was the hot tub was out of service

Rooms were fine the shower was a bit dirty with mold like stuff on the bottom of doors and floor

Room we were given was not cleaned properly, we even did not have shower in the morning to avoid entering the bath tub.

The excellent rating in my opinion was inaccurate. The hot tub was warm, not hot. Several decorative tiles were missing. Appeared that the pool had been updated. The floor in the room was very dirty, both the carpet and tile. Thinking the Hampton Inns are just not what they used to be....

It wasn't very clean had dirty mens underwear in the closet.but the pool was great.

My stay was fine. Stay were friendly & available. Unfortunately the bathroom in my room wasn’t cleaned very well. There was something smeared on the faucet handle and toothpaste splashed on the faucet itself. The room could over all use a good thorough clean. But the bed was clean and comfortable.

Not a very old property but already showing wear and tear. Shower shows black mold. Overall this property needs attention before it's too late.

No hairdryer in the room for my wife. She sent to the front desk, and the gentleman said he would bring one right up to the room. Never happened. Next morning at checkout, the lady apologized, and said he must have forgot. Dropped something on the floor, and looked under the bed. Disgusting. Wrappers, food, everything. Just nasty. Truly disappointed, as we are Honor Members.

The front desk clerks were so friendly & welcoming; we were greeted with bright smiles! Our room and the lobby, hallways and elevator were nice & clean; LOVED that there was a refrigerator & microwave in the room. I give this property a 10/10⭐️ would definitely stay here again!

TV options were good. Negatives: Shower was terrible, no water pressure with plastic removable shower head. Sink stopper would not close. Towels were not soft. Breakfast was adequate, but less options than other Hampton Inn locations we visited. Furniture in breakfast area is getting ragged and worn out.

Solid place to stay. Not far from downtown, and plenty of places to eat in walking distance. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortably, and had a nice walk in shower.

The facility was really nice, breakfast options were great, staff was very friendly. The room was amazingly spacious. Bed/pillow comfort were only average.

We booked a king bed with sleeper sofa. We checked into our room and there was no sofa. No place to sit? Really? Very disappointed in the room. My expectations were not met at all. I feel compensation is in order.

I do not understand how this hotel has such high ratings, and how it is more expensive than much nicer, and the better equipped marriott town suites next door. The rooms are small and not well put together. Lots of shotty construction. For the price it’s ridiculous. I took a gamble and chose this based on the reviews. Don’t listen to any reviews that say this hotel is worth it. Only the staff is nice. And that’s it.

Pros: easy to get to, very helpful staff, big clean rooms - we may have the ADA one. Cons: big bathroom but narrow shower, the faucet is stuck on with caulk, shower fixtures are all loose. Maintenance is letting them down! Also we got three wake up calls at 6 am that we hadn’t asked for so that was not pleasant.

Picture missing from the wall. Outlets for phone on the lamps were damaged and couldn't be used. Overall decor was a nit dated.

Hotel is nice however you can hear the people above you walking. I don’t typically have that issue at other hotels.

Drove 4 hours to the hotel to find out they canceled my room because they tried to run my card without me present and rather calling me they just up and canceled it. Had to find another hotel at midnight

From the very start the staff was very friendly and making sure everything was going well. For example right after checking in and going into our room we received a text asking if everything was okay with the room or if there is anything the staff can do or bring to make it more comfortable. This to us was a very nice touch. The complementary breakfast was also very well organized, clean and our boys really enjoyed the various selections they had every day. If ever in the area again we would definitely stay here.

The credit card machine was not working correctly wjhen we got here but Alli was wonderful. She let us into our room. She was a delight! So fr8iendly and helpful!!! I would definitely recommend her for employee of the month!!

Female staff member at check in was rude

Hands down the worst Hampton Inn I've ever stayed at. The entire property is run down. Our thermostat was broken and the staff was unable to fix or move us to a new room. To top it off, the some of the staff got into a fight in the lobby and the police were called in. Terrible!

The staff members were super friendly from check-in to check-out. When there was noise coming from the floor above us late at night, the staff quickly addressed the issue. The room was clean, and breakfast was pleasant. We enjoyed our stay here and will consider staying again if we pass through the town.

Ali(Alisha) & Xavier were top notch representatives for The Hampton Inn. Efficient. Courteous. Accommodating. Professional aesthetic, communication & service. And did there job but also went over & beyond to ensure that not only me but all the guests received the same level of service, time, attention to detail and 1 on 1 attention.

As mentioned before, there was no soap or shampoo in the containers in the shower. But the main reason for the bad review was the noise from the guests nearby; we asked them in person and then twice contacted the desk; only after the second call did they try to resolve it and never checked back. The din lasted until after midnight. Miserable experience; you owe me a free stay.

Hotel was kind of stuck out of the way of major businesses

Perfect for our stay! Short drive to downtown Toledo for our events. Great breakfast. Appreciated lobby lounge to hang out in evenings bringing our own food. Lots of food establishments surrounding hotel.

Getting in and out of this property without a traffic light is ridiculous. I almost died trying to exit the property for dinner. Also, when Daylight Savings Time occurs, please set back the clocks in the rooms to the proper time. I wasn't able to do it.

The room, staff and breakfast were all great. I recommend this location to birders because of it's proximity to Maumee Bay State Park, Ottawa NWR and Magee Marsh as well as convenient fast food options for dinner.

Carpet very dirty. Black mold around corners & in cracks of shower door & the track. Walls in bathroom dirty. Ran out of food prior to the end of breakfast time.

The workers were very polite and helpful! The rooms were clean and stocked with soap, shampoo and conditioner and extra towels. It had a coffee pot in the room! Has two different types of waffles and eggs and biscuits and gravy and sausage for breakfast! Great hotel!

I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the facility. The beds were very comfortable, and the TV was impressive. Usually, the TVs in most hotels are small, but this one was very large. The continental breakfast had a very nice variety.

We were very happy with our stay. The property was clean, and modern feeling. However the stand out to me was the staff! Everyone was so cheery and helpful! From check-in to breakfast, which was excellent also!

I’ve stayed previously (pre-Covid) and remember how excellent their breakfast was at the time. They had fresh berries, gluten free and low carb options, and the hot part of the breakfast was actually quite good. It was much better than a typical free hotel breakfast. This time they had the standard apples, oranges, and bananas and all of them were past their prime. The apples were all wrapped in plastic wrap (super wasteful, though possible required since Covid,) and every one was so soft and grainy my kids wouldn’t eat them. Not a single option was low carb other than the meat, which I couldn’t eat due to a pork allergy. Even the scrambled eggs had ham in them. A tiny yogurt had over 30 grams of carbs and 25 of those were sugar. The rest of the options included your standard continental breakfast muffins, oatmeal, danish, etc. Even my kids weren’t impressed, and they eat crap off the floor. All that said, if you don’t mind a fairly standard but not great breakfast, the rest of the hotel is decent. It was clean and everything was in working order in our room. The hot tub was out, which was disappointing. It didn’t look like it was a recent closure as it was filthy and looked like it had been broken and sitting with stagnant water for a while. It would have been nice to have that reflected in the hotel info prior to booking. But it wasn’t a dealbreaker. I’d stay again, but bring my own breakfast and call ahead to see if the hot tub was functional.
