Stayed in a cosy room for 2 nights, spacious & comfy had enough storage etc. there are no modern usb sockets. Staff all friendly & helpful; breakfast waiter service & very good quality. Grounds are extensive, we walked in the kitchen garden. Parking was easy outside. The spa facilities need an upgrade as seem a bit past their best (we did use the pool & jacuzzi indoors).

Our room was perfect. Nice decor and the bed was so comfortable with lovely bedding. The room and bathroom were very spacious. Lovely roll top bath and toiletries provided. Great location, right opposite the spa and there was even a sauna and 2 hot tubs outside our room. The decor of the public rooms was gorgeous with cosy log fires and comfortable sofas and chairs. The service from everyone was exceptional. Very attentive and friendly. Great food and drinks. Will definitely stay here again

Fabulous hotel with a friendly spa facility integrated into the hotel's offer. Great to have an outdoor pool and plenty of spaces inside and outside to enjoy. The manor itself is grand and luxurious. The Garden Grill served an excellent dinner with good wines available and staff couldn't be more helpful. Only down side was there was no hot water during one afternoon - but the hotel gave me a £50 discount off the bill as compensation which was unexpected and appreciated.

Had a fabulous time here . Really enjoyed the spa and pool. Lovely hotel with some fun quirky decor & friendly staff. Breakfast was lovely and Dinner was delicious although on the pricey side! Would definitely recommend & return.

Stayed in one of the family rooms in the separate building - a bunk bed downstairs and queen upstairs with en-suite. Room was clean, well-appointed and worked well to get the kids to sleep allowing adults to relax upstairs. Room service menu and quality of food were excellent. Spa and internal and external pool were great, but strict kids hours in the internal pool meant we actually had to swim/play in sub zero temperatures - which was not ideal and quite rude. Hotel is close to Longleat, and is a high class local retreat.

The hot tub room was great, very comfortable, modern facilities, the hot tub itself was fun, and we could wander down from the patio to the outdoor pool. The staff were always keen to oblige. Everything table service in the bar, there are a couple of nice lounges and outdoor seating. All staff helpful and very friendly. Food in the restaurant was very good quality. Some of it is grown on site. Breakfast excellent, both continental and hot options. Good walking in the area, including right from the hotel grounds.

Very attentive staff Due to the hotel being a listed building there is no lift and having a room on tte 3rd floor not ideal when you have heavy cases A negative is as there is a lot of material decoration dust is a problem opening curtains in the morning you could see dust in the air.excellant breakfast The outside of the building looks great with a marvellous setting.car parking is sometimes a problem depending on how busy the hotel is

A very pleasant stay at this hotel. All of the staff were eager to ensure we had a good stay and nothing was too much trouble. Room was a good size and beds very comfortable. Pools, indoor and outdoor were of a good size plus indoor and outdoor Jacuzzis. Reasonable size steam room and sauna. No complaints at all but a few observations. The stairs from the loft area to the first floor are steep and quite narrow. Lighting was not good and together with a dark carpet made it quite difficult to see the stair treads. There was a good size wet shower area in our room plus a bath. When hair conditioner was used in the shower area the floor tiles became quite slippery. Consideration might be given to providing some kind of grab handle. Dinner in the restaurant was very good especially the lamb shoulder with a delicious sauce. We would have eaten there every night but for the quite restrictive items on the menu. Whilst I understand the need to avoid food wastage with only a fish course and soup changing each day, we felt the menu was quite repetitive. The number of main course items could stay the same with perhaps a bigger rotation of items on offer. overall, we really enjoyed thios break.

Me and my partner stayed at this hotel for night during the Easter break and we found it amazing from hotel cleanliness to the overall decor of the venue. We booked a junior suite but have to say the picture shows double bathtub but there was only one bathtub in the bathroom so didn’t have the beautiful greenery view out the window. The shower facilities were brilliant and the toiletries were really nice. Fresh bath towels and the lot. The bed was super comfy and the pillows were just plump and nice and felt resting on clouds. The sofa chairs were large and very comfortable and there was a Dyson hair dryer that my partner enjoyed. Just enough wardrobe space for two with a fridge that had some water and milk for the free tea. The dinner at the restaurant for us was a let down as we only got the vegetarian menu, the pasta was tasteless but the salmon was tasty. There should be more vegetarian options as little tip for next time. However, the normal menu did look great and so those who are able to eat the meat it maybe nice. They did give fresh orange juice aswell which was delicious. The breakfast menu was fantastic and would highly recommend. The Spa amenities are brilliant so be sure to make use of them. Overall I would highly recommend this place to others and would stay again.

Stayed here as a stopover on the way home from London. It's a beautifully appointed hotel, so much so that I don't think we noticed so much as a worn carpet or a patch of grubby paintwork. Excellent service from everyone we spoke to. Had a very tasty meal in the lounge bar. Lovely jacuzzi. Room spotless, and very comfortable. We'll happily go back.

Such a wonderful stay. The staff were very friendly and attentive, couldn’t do enough for us. The room was beautiful, the in bathroom stream room was a fantastic addition.

Our stay at Bishopstrow Hotel was delightful! Dinner was delicious, and we loved the flavors and presentation. The junior suite was spacious and comfortable, though it could use a bit more natural light. The pool and jacuzzi were a fantastic addition to our stay, making it easy to relax. We also enjoyed the beautiful hikes around the hotel, which gave us a chance to explore the lovely surroundings. A highlight was the fresh eggs and milk we got nearby—they were simply fantastic. All in all, a wonderful stay with a great mix of comfort, relaxation, and nature!

The luxury suite was absolutely stunning (outside bath was the highlight for me) the attention to detail is outstanding.. the little extras you get goes above expectations. As soon as we arrived staff were very welcoming and friendly. And the food in the restaurant is up there with some of the best meals we have ever had. Our only regret is that we didn’t book to stay longer! We have stayed in many luxury hotels and this is by far the best I have ever been to!

Stayed in one of the family rooms in the separate building - a bunk bed downstairs and queen upstairs with en-suite. Room was clean, well-appointed and worked well to get the kids to sleep allowing adults to relax upstairs. Room service menu and quality of food were excellent. Spa and internal and external pool were great, but strict kids hours in the internal pool meant we actually had to swim/play in sub zero temperatures - which was not ideal and quite rude. Hotel is close to Longleat, and is a high class local retreat.

Me and my partner stayed at this hotel for night during the Easter break and we found it amazing from hotel cleanliness to the overall decor of the venue. We booked a junior suite but have to say the picture shows double bathtub but there was only one bathtub in the bathroom so didn’t have the beautiful greenery view out the window. The shower facilities were brilliant and the toiletries were really nice. Fresh bath towels and the lot. The bed was super comfy and the pillows were just plump and nice and felt resting on clouds. The sofa chairs were large and very comfortable and there was a Dyson hair dryer that my partner enjoyed. Just enough wardrobe space for two with a fridge that had some water and milk for the free tea. The dinner at the restaurant for us was a let down as we only got the vegetarian menu, the pasta was tasteless but the salmon was tasty. There should be more vegetarian options as little tip for next time. However, the normal menu did look great and so those who are able to eat the meat it maybe nice. They did give fresh orange juice aswell which was delicious. The breakfast menu was fantastic and would highly recommend. The Spa amenities are brilliant so be sure to make use of them. Fabulous hotel with a friendly spa facility integrated into the hotel's offer. Great to have an outdoor pool and plenty of spaces inside and outside to enjoy. The manor itself is grand and luxurious. The Garden Grill served an excellent dinner with good wines available and staff couldn't be more helpful. Only down side was there was no hot water during one afternoon - but the hotel gave me a £50 discount off the bill as compensation which was unexpected and appreciated.

The hot tub room was great, very comfortable, modern facilities, the hot tub itself was fun, and we could wander down from the patio to the outdoor pool. The staff were always keen to oblige. Everything table service in the bar, there are a couple of nice lounges and outdoor seating. All staff helpful and very friendly. Food in the restaurant was very good quality. Some of it is grown on site. Breakfast excellent, both continental and hot options. Good walking in the area, including right from the hotel grounds.

My only issue was that i have coeliac disease and got contaminated by eating fries at lunch as although the menu said they were gluten free, they apparently didnt have a seperate fryer i found out in retrospect...so i felt awful all afternoon.

A very pleasant stay at this hotel. All of the staff were eager to ensure we had a good stay and nothing was too much trouble. Room was a good size and beds very comfortable. Pools, indoor and outdoor were of a good size plus indoor and outdoor Jacuzzis. Reasonable size steam room and sauna. No complaints at all but a few observations. The stairs from the loft area to the first floor are steep and quite narrow. Lighting was not good and together with a dark carpet made it quite difficult to see the stair treads. There was a good size wet shower area in our room plus a bath. When hair conditioner was used in the shower area the floor tiles became quite slippery. Consideration might be given to providing some kind of grab handle. Dinner in the restaurant was very good especially the lamb shoulder with a delicious sauce. We would have eaten there every night but for the quite restrictive items on the menu. Whilst I understand the need to avoid food wastage with only a fish course and soup changing each day, we felt the menu was quite repetitive. The number of main course items could stay the same with perhaps a bigger rotation of items on offer. overall, we really enjoyed thios break.
A very pleasant stay at this hotel. All of the staff were eager to ensure we had a good stay and nothing was too much trouble. Room was a good size and beds very comfortable. Pools, indoor and outdoor were of a good size plus indoor and outdoor Jacuzzis. Reasonable size steam room and sauna. No complaints at all but a few observations. The stairs from the loft area to the first floor are steep and quite narrow. Lighting was not good and together with a dark carpet made it quite difficult to see the stair treads. We had a fantastic two night stay 11th-13th Sept. The new outdoor facilities were incredible and the hotel decor was stunning. We had a lovely couples massage which we both enjoyed. Staff couldnt have been more helpful & friendly. We had dinner at the Garden Grill and while the food was delicious we opted for a local pub for dinner on the second night as we felt the menu choice was limited. Otherwise we could not fault it. Hope we'll be back.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff are very attentive but ….. There is no AC and the weekend we went was incredibly hot , it made our stay very uncomfortable. On arrival there was no space to book for dinner at a decent time but the patio was free , so we went to the patio for drinks to start , our server advised we should book a table in the patio section to secure a slot , which we did , then our table was given away this was the first of the many errors that followed , we were then told we could order food to the sofa section where we were sat , food comes out , but no cutlery , then more food arrives still no cutlery, over 10 mins food just sat there with nothing to eat it with , even after complaining , in the end my wife went into the actual restaurant and took it off the table , utterly shocking , even more shocking no server returned to check then the food , my wife hates mushrooms, requested no mushrooms , it came with mushrooms, I ordered sea bass but it was uneditable. Our server did remove the sea bass and service charge , but the damage had already been done , very disappointing.
